This book explains the reason why you need and should eat the foods for each Vitamin, Mineral, and more. It explains for each Vitamin, Minerals, Trace Element, Cell Salt, and more the foods that go with each and what function in the body that they help with. Deficiencies are how our body reacts (symptoms) when there is not enough. Simple and to the point.Symptoms are what tells us there is something wrong that we need to correct. It is so easy to look up your symptoms and start the process of healing by either eating the foods or taking what is needed.
I really hate to give a book a low score. I know what goes into writing a book, but unfortunately, there are times when giving a high score would be doing a disservice. While this may be a handy pocket guide to some vitamins and minerals, their sources, what they are needed for and deficiencies, it’s not as in depth as many books in this genre. Also...it is badly in need of a professional editor/formatter. The formatting of the entire book is off-putting making parts of it confusing. Included with the book was a letter from the author stating that she had purchased a grammar app and would be using that in the next version. I am familiar with the Grammarly app and it is really good for spelling and grammar. It is not good for formatting.
Also, the author claims to have done her research, but where did she do it? There are no sources cited and no “for further information, go to...” indicators.
Recommendation: Wait for a new version of this book to come out — one that has been done the right way — and use it as a base, but not for in-depth information. This is a very basic place to start, not a place to stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is a list of vitamins, minerals, etc. along with a list of good sources for each, the functions of each, and what deficiencies you might "suffer" if you do not have enough of x in your diet.
More a series of list than a full on book of information. Still interesting and informative. A good resource and guide to knowing the foods that are good for the body.
