Enjoyable

Yours and Mine - Joanne and Tanner each have 11-year old daughters who scheme and try everything possible to get their single parents together. The adults think they see through the schemes and are just as determined NOT to get together. Humor, fun times, and a HEA.

Here Comes Trouble - Maryanne is trying her best to be a top-notch journalist. However, she comes from a wealthy family and pretty much gets what she wants. She’s called out by a rival and sparks fly between the two. Both are determined not to like the other but those sparks soon change to another kind of spark. I liked that Maryanne was willing to try new things without the help of her parents. Humor, new beginnings and a HEA.

Sweet story

This was an enjoyable story to read. I’ve always liked Debbie Macomber and have read many of her books. This particular story was interesting and I liked the characters. They were well-described and interacted well with each other. I don’t think there was a lot of depth to this story so I could put it down when I needed to do something and pick it back up and easily continue where I left off. There weren’t any surprises and the ending was pretty predictable, but if you are looking for a good story to relax with this is the book for you.

Two for the price of one.

Chose 5 star as both stories deserved high recognition for being down to earth. Along with that each brought humility, humid and fun to the characters, making the reader both laugh or cry as the story comes together. Such a good feeling when done.

Two great short romance stories. First one was about two divorces who had eleven year old daughters that wanted them to get together. The second was about a newspaper column writer and a newspaper owners daughter that meet up at a radio station where they debate growth in Seattle.

First one was ok, the second was unreadable. Too dated and misongynistic.

These two novellas are perfect for anyone who just needs to be entertained with light romance. It’s easy to know how the books will end, but it was really fun reading all of the details to get me there. I do appreciate Debbie Macomber for providing books that are quick and easy to read and so realistic. Fans of Macomber and her romance books will enjoy this one for sure!
