Scandalous headlines threaten to turn Jamie Kent from a pop star to a pariah on the regular, but this latest one is a little too close for comfort. The Asylum Fight Club seems like a good place to hide out...until he has to prove he belongs—deep in a lifestyle with a contract and rules he breaks within the first five minutes. Staying means complete surrender, but a lifetime scripting love songs didn’t prepare him to give his heart to the one man who claims everything he has to offer.

The day he returns from prison.

Reputation has its own kind of power in a place where pain and pleasure depend on who’s in control. Entangled in the lives of those he’d give anything to protect, Noah Leonov rarely takes chances, but the hardened fighter refuses to abandon the vulnerable new sub to vultures who could tear his life apart with a camera flash. With the cage where he spent two years fresh in his mind, Noah won’t trap the man he loves in his brutal world. Jamie deserves the glamour and fame, where he can have more than a broken man can provide.

He belongs in the spotlight.

Neither man ever had the choice to decide their own destiny. Imprisoned by the roles they’re forced to play, their key to freedom might be to do the unexpected.

Refuse to let go.

First of all, if you haven’t read the first two books, you need to. You will miss out on a whole lot if you don’t. Second, this book and this series is not for the faint of heart. At all. It gets into very heavy BDSM scenes, it’s a fight club, there’s beatings almost to death, and some very bad manipulation and control issues. Not to mention attempted murder and other things. If any of this is a problem, please take care. It does get graphic at points and I don’t want anyone to have a trigger.
I love this series though. But this one was a rough one. Noah is home now, and he’s not adapting back to real life after being in prison. Oh, people are still fearful of the man, but things that should not be happening, are. Even though every relationship in the BDSM world is different, there’s still a standard Noah is strict on, and he is being challenged at every turn. And tensions are really rising. When Jamie shows up, it gets much much worse. Noah takes an interest in Jamie and lets Jamie get away with things none of the other subs are allowed to. And the tension with everyone else is even rising higher as they see the favoritism, yet the harsh behavior with everyone else. But unfortunately, one bad thing finally triggers Noah and he’s determined to set himself on a course that will lead to trouble again. His uncle takes him in again to ‘fix’ him, and goes too far. And even goes farther when he tells Noah, it’s time to let Jamie go because of what Jamie’s life has brought to the Asylum. And because he listened, he lost the one man he truly loves and Jamie is destroyed. When Noah’s mother steps in, it’s time for Noah to make it right. But will Jamie forgive him and let him make it right, or is it over for good?
Out of all the crap that everyone at the Asylum has been through, I feel sorry for Noah the most right now. And Wren, but that’s a different story. Noah’s life was made into a living nightmare after what his father had done, and because of it, he was following in the man’s footsteps. Not knowing what else to do, Noah’s mom, who is as sweet as can be, asked for help from her brother. And what Rhodey seemed to do for Noah, seemed to help. But the truth is, I don’t know if it really did. Yes, he gave Noah focus on something else, but to take a kid in the mindset he was in and literally make him a lethal weapon??? For me, I was angry. Because Noah’s first priority always, is to protect those weaker and his family, and because of it, he landed it jail. Granted, the dude had it coming, but come on. Prison did change him and how could it not? And then trying to fix his triggers the way he did. Yeah, this one pissed me off bad. Really bad.
I understood the tension between Noah and the guys at the club. Noah felt out of control and was trying to find his feet again and felt undermined at every turn. So I get why he was lashing out and even why he so favored Jamie. Not that he doesn’t love Jamie, don’t get me wrong. But he let Jamie go a little too far a lot and because of it, resentment was flying everywhere. And I got it. He was trying to find the control he lost. In one way or another.
So I got Noah and I love him. His hard edges and all. But I don’t know if I will ever be happy with the way his uncle did what he did. From the time he was a kid and to present day. He deserved better in his life. He deserved peace. And for people to begrudge him that peace he was starting to find with Jamie, left a bad taste in my mouth. But it’s still one heck of a book and I’m waiting now to see if there’s a certain two people that are going to make their interests known soon.

This book, this is really three stories in one, all centered around Noah and Jamie. Noah is set-up as a legend at the Asylum, but his reality isn’t matching his reputation. Jamie and Noah though, they have that connection. That is our first story, the Jamie and Noah met and fit together story. Then it all falls apart, and as much as I liked Rhodey (Noah’s uncle) before, I didn’t any more. We get all the connections, the reasons behind the legend, the making of the man that Noah is now. Jamie learns about himself, and how to make his connections with those who are important to Noah. Noah and Jamie still fit, but there is the larger family that has effects. That is the second story. We finally get how it all works, and then it doesn’t (cue the tears and tissues), and how Noah and Jamie have to make decisions and choices, for themselves, for each other. And I absolutely despise Rhodey at this point, and even by the end of the book, not sure, he has a lot to make up for. Noah and Jamie get their HEA, but it isn’t paved with gold, unicorns, and rainbows, it is jagged rocks, thorns, and tornadoes, and they make it because of the other, solidifying their love and connection to each other!

We get more from our previous characters, Lawson and Matt, Curtis and Reed, a lot of Wren and Doc (Jared). The boys are growing up and Ezran and Garet are getting ready for college. Tracey absolutely is around for her boy, and her brother, the aforementioned Rhodey. And by the end, there is a kitty cat, so you know it was an awesome book 😊

The easy way to review this one is to just say "intense", which fits as I spent most of my reading time tensed up. It also managed to make me tear up. I'd call this story a personal drama, with high emotions, vaguely expressed thoughts, conflicting opinions, questionable motivations, and my personal favorite, misunderstandings. All of these ramp up the tension and suck you right into this alpha fueled drama. Most reactions are off the cuff, off the scale, and often end in the ring and then in the dungeon. I'm not going to talk about the plot because there's just too much going on, with a main cast in the low double digits. But what this book, and the series so far, has that's really notable is a firm portrayal of the human condition, and most often when it's peeled back to the raw core.

This installment is not for the weak of heart. Noah has been through hell and thinks that now that he is out of jail things will automatically go back to the way they were. Well, he isn’t the same and neither are the ones he left behind. Enter pretty pop star Jamie Kent and Noah’s fragile hold is threatened even more. This story is a terrifying emotional roller-coaster ride. The authors take you to some really dark places before coming to a wonderful conclusion. I really enjoy this series and am anxiously awaiting the next installment.

Noah is a complicated man. He has a lot of baggage. Jamie is a smart man. He has amazing talent. They complete each other. The connection is instant and the chemistry between them is off the charts. Loved the ending.

Noah and Jamie's story had me swinging drastically
(not kidding I was an emotional wreck by the time I finished)
between loving and loathing - not only the cast, the story line itself!

Guys what the heck!! I know you are not ignorant
- a touch out there maybe -
but the absolute blind stupidity you displayed 😠 ...
He is still your friend - Your Family

Ok maybe I'm still a touch angry
I'm going to step back - breathe for a bit then I'll be back with my thoughts

First just to let you know this does have the sweetest melt in your mouth HEA ending!
That being said it was also a bit of an emotional roller coaster.
If you have read the previous books - which I highly suggest - then you know Noah was originally psychologically warped to serve his Uncles beliefs (okay I might be just a smidgen 🤏 prejudice against dear old Uncle).
This topic is covered in this book, we get more than a glimpse of Noah's demons, the nightmares that ride his waking moments.
We get a true understanding of how his past has shaped him.

Jamie ...
The kid didn't have a chance.
He was a commodity before puberty.

I don't think the author could have chosen a better relationship combo than Noah and Jamie.
Both were manipulated to serve someone else's purpose.
Both were missing a piece of themselves, something the other offered, but neither was truly aware of it.

I think Doc might have found his subby - just saying

More exciting and dramatic moments from the Asylum , M/M and so descriptive and entertaining.

Noah is out of prison that’s when he meets his little cat and the sparks fly. Chemistry off the charts and lots of triggers and emotional moments.

Personally I have trouble picking up on details in the lengthy narrative and have to reread a lot but I think that’s just me. I can find so many other issues; (insta-lust, insta-submission?) often lacks logic but it does not matter one bit. This one is pretty dark in some sections and I still don’t entirely get what goes on with Noah and Rhodey but I kinda hate Rhodey. I was actually brought to tears for poor Jamie. It’s a running storyline, so you have to read all the preceding books, no jumping in here or you’ll be lost. Heavier BDSM. Addictive series for me.

This was a good finish for the Trilogy. (I know the story continues, but not for me) The Story is about Jamie, a famous Pop Singer who wants a break from his life and Noah, who we know from the first two books. To my surprise Noah is not the man I expected. He came back from prison completely broken and not as the legend he once was. Jamie, who had no one he could trust or call his friend ended up in Noahs arms and eventhough it was insta-love, it felt like it was not pushed. The two of them fit well to each other. The Story like was quite messy but also fun to read. Im not a Fan of Rhodey, I think you could have handeled the Situation better and he made the last last unesessary. And Curtis my man. He still has feelings for Noah and I feel like he would go back to Noah the Second he gets the Chance. And this makes me really sad because I love Reed and especially after the shit that went down in this story, he deserves a Man who has only eyes for him. I feel like I have enough of this world. I know that the Next Book will be probably about Doc and Wren, what could also became Interesting, but I have no desire to continue this series.

Noah and Jamie. Love this series, and the connection between Jamie and Noah does not disappoint. The many secondary characters are a wonderful bonus, and we catch up with those from previous books. All that aside, I downgraded my rating because there is an extreme overabundance of sentence fragments and the dialogue's speaker is frequently unclear. I backtracked a ridiculous amount of times just to figure out who the heck was speaking, and even then, there were times when I was still not 100% certain. Otherwise, I loved this and can not wait until Wren gets his story.

there are some triggers in this one so you might want to pay attention if that is a thing for you... this is the 3rd in the series and i highly recommend reading the first two before this one because it makes more sense to me. it has a lot of hard bdsm in it so if thats not your thing either.. i really liked this one.. it was well written and emotional.. it was hard to read in spots and amazing.. i cannot wait for the next one.

Jamie is a pop star hiding at the Asylum. Noah is an ex-con. Jamie is not prepared at all for the BDSM club. Noah is well respected at the fight club. He is tasked with helping Jamie assimilate, but Jamie’s is always in constant trouble. I seriously loved that two. It was an awesome story and cannot wait to read more of the series! I am voluntarily leaving a review form an advanced copy that I received. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.

Jamie, Jamie, Jamie… he has no idea what he is walking into. Glad he has someone take him under his wing. Maybe Jamie would have known to be scared of he'd been there more than 2 minutes when he met Noah. Oh well, he bit it off, let's see if he can handle it. And Noah. And Jared. And the others. Yum!

As we open the pages of Hard Justice, Tibby Armstrong and Bianca Sommerland introduce us to Jamie Kent. We immediately have to wonder how this smart-ass pop star twink is ever going to capture the heart of the tough-as-nails Noah Leanov, who, up to now, we’ve only come to know from the men of The Asylum who respect his every move. Jamie is wholly unprepared for the BDSM club he’s just walked into, at his friend Dom Jackson’s invite. When Jamie and Noah meet it is a lesson in patience for both of them and had me warring between giggles and fear. Rife with misunderstanding, Noah quickly realizes that it’s going to be even harder than he imagined to re-assume control of The Asylum.

Noah is self-deprecating as he thinks, “he had no illusions about who he was. Too fucking hard and cold to claim any man for more than a few nights pleasure.” But Jamie is just the exercise in fresh patience Noah needs. Insubordinate, disrespectful… he pushes every nerve. And yet Noah is drawn in by the man’s raw, natural submission and his need for protection, so much so he can’t wait to mold him into something “priceless”.

The innocence of Jamie, his circumstances – every simple blunder – endear you to him, even as Reed says, “’Dude. Can you stay out of trouble for like even an hour?’” However, what Noah thought Jamie knew when signing his contract to enter The Asylum isn’t exactly on the up and up and when truths are revealed, after an extreme punishment, it threatens more than a Dom/sub relationship.

When Jamie and Noah meet it is a lesson in patience for both of them and had me warring between giggles and fear. Rife with misunderstanding, Noah quickly realizes that it’s going to be even harder than he imagined to re-assume control of The Asylum.

In the third book in their The Asylum Fight Club series, Tibby Armstrong and Bianca Sommerland bring back our favorite characters to navigate Noah’s changes with him, while their own stories continue to subtly play out. The way the men respond to Noah’s expectations of a sub, and how Jamie’s purity makes him break his own rules, is almost comical. But, is it a weakness the other Doms will exploit?

What these men don’t know is, under Noah’s rigidness of structure and rules, lives a man who’s broken and has lost his sense of belonging. Raised and trained by a hardcore mercenary, when Noah’s world spirals out of control, he’s forced to leave his submissive in the care of those who the young man isn’t even sure he can trust. But they may be just who Jamie needs. True submission means giving of one’s self, and the person who Jamie turns to for guidance will have your head spinning!

The breakdown, though mercifully short in the reader’s duration, is painfully brutal in Noah’s eyes, as Rhodey tries to reign his nephew back in. (Boy do we need Rhodey’s story. I’m not sure yet if he is friend or foe… I’m not even sure he knows anymore.) Noah is only grounded by thoughts of his return to Jamie.

This book is a journey for so many of these men, as is customary with this must-read-in-order series, and brings into focus the relationship between the core members of The Asylum, Curtis, Lawson and Noah. But more so, it is a deep dive into the complexities of who Noah truly is… and it isn’t always pretty, for anyone in his path. Including himself. The heartbreak and confusion he brings to those he loves the most, sometimes against his own free will, is gut wrenching.

It’s exquisite to behold the refinement with which Noah teaches Jamie, a novice, the grace of dominance and submission.

All the build-up in Hard Justice, and the path Noah and Jamie must traverse, make for a well-earned joyous ending, a story of two men just trying to survive and find their way. It’s exquisite to behold the refinement with which Noah teaches Jamie, a novice, the grace of dominance and submission. As Jamie thinks to himself, he “expected to feel shame. Except he didn’t. He felt safe. Like he could be himself, and even if parts of him were broken Noah would show him how to fix them.”

In the beginning, Noah’s hardness is what we might expect given what we’ve learned of him. In the end? He is a man, ravaged by circumstance, who has a heart of gold, which is evident in those he has nurtured. And bringing Jamie into his life reflects the man we now know, not a mystery. The man who handed his flowers to Lawson, to protect someone in need!

I've listened to this book so many times. I absolutely love this series. I wish the entire series was in audio. Sadly only the first three are.
