In this collection of flash fiction stories written in a mix of genres, you will find some humor, zombies, ghosts, a saved dog, and the end of the world. Not all in the same story, of course.
Natalia Corres would tell you that the world is magical, and knowing what you want in life is the biggest battle/adventure you can embark on. She lives in a secluded retreat, on an island in the Pacific with her hubby, her critter friends, and her imagination.
I like flash fiction, and I was looking for some when I came across this one. It has 10 very short stories, from different genres. The best story in my opinion is "Tell Me a Story". To me that is a great example of flash fiction, short, but still has impact. If all the stories would have been of this quality, this would have been such a great collection, but it's not. It's not bad, but it's not great either. I thought some of the stories lacked a little more emotional impact, and some like "The Midas Touch App" seemed to fit longer form better. In fact, I think "The Midas Touch App" might actually be the basis for a great novel, but unfortunately not flash fiction. It's just too short for this idea, in my opinion. So all in all, interesting collection, but one story clearly stands out as the best one.
