These are beautiful Christian novels written in the early 1900s which are quite underrated. Long before Francine Rivers and Jeanette Oke there was Grace Livingstone Hill. I had no idea Christian fiction novels had such a long history.

Many old books mention going to church, clergymen etc... but these books are more explicitly Christian novels as the heroines often have a spiritual journey or conversion .
