Camp Good News is a Bible camp where people send off their kids for the summer to become good Christians. Destiny is a troubled girl whose parents hope the camp will help straighten her out. The camp seems odd enough with the extra happy staff and their leader, Pastor Rick. Except there is something lurking beneath that smiling exterior. Something dark and evil. The campers may be left to the staff’s evil devices, but from the wilderness, a mysterious witch looks on and plans to put an end to the camp’s reign of terror. Nothing is what it seems in the Satanic Bible Camp!
A crazy demonic sex cult with lots of young camper women running around getting impregnated by a demon. Nothing is forbidden and beware the golden calf.
This is Tim Miller's first book i read, I can say that I will read more of his. It is a pretty good (and funny) fast paced book. The only reason that I have it 4 stars is some of the typos. Not enough to stop me from reading. I would suggest that anyone wanting a humorous horror book to check this out.
Another great read from Mr Miller and as always doesn't disappoint. What I love the most about this is you could actually imagine reading this in the newspaper. Not the powers part but the rest. I thoroughly enjoy time books and love his style. His storylines are always intense and the horror and gore is up there making you squirm and cringe. It had a great twist and kept you captivated through out. If you haven't read any of his books I would whole heartedly recommend not just this book but all of his books. You won't be disappointed.
An interesting story about how one can justify ones own actions and be blinded by these contradictions. An added feature of this tale is, in more ways than one you reap what you sow.
I loved this book! There were lack of details here and there but I'll put that down to editing, otherwise was a grand read with strong characters that I felt an instant connection to. Looking forward to start on his other books. All hail Tim Miller !
When Destiny gets arrested for disorderly conduct, her parents decide to send her to a Christian bible camp. At first, she makes it known that it's the last place she wants to spend her summer. But once campers start to go missing and counselors begin turning up dead, Destiny discovers the horrifying things really going on at the camp.
Personal Opinion
I'm going to start with the things I liked: I was expecting some satanic rituals, but it managed to surprise me with some of the sex scenes and a few girls even giving birth. It did get very gory as well with some torture scenes which is always a plus in my horror / gore loving opinion! The story takes a newer approach to the whole slasher camp angle with a religious camp mixed with some satanic rituals. Not to mention their golden calf was just plain creepy.
But…
There are a few reasons for my 3 star rating. Quite a few minor spelling errors throughout. Generally, and especially with self published books, I tend to let an error here and there go. This one did have enough to keep catching my attention though. The flow seemed like it could have been improved by not repeating twice in the same sentence such as 'and' and 'away'. It is a bit of a pet peeve of mine when reading. The name Heather was overused 3 different times for 3 different people which became a little confusing. Lovers of gory camp stories might enjoy this one.

Tim Miller can write like the best of them. It is just that his topics are not for the squeamish. The psychologist tell us this subject matter impresses upon us the importance of right and wrong no matter who the perpetrators are. Here the perpetrators of the evil are Christian's they use it to there evil advantage as they do throughout history. Those of us greater intellectuals do not fall for the cloak of Christianities evil. Sure not all are evil but humans tend to use these fields to cover their wrongs to their fellow humans. Here we have bible camp for the teens and youth. They are sent there by their parents who want them to conform totally to the mind wipe of religious beliefs. This is an epic of right, wrong and a bit of magic. It is a deep complex atrocity at this camp that has been in progress for decades. I loved every minute of it.
What a badass book. Seemed like an 80s horror movie, and would have made a good one at that. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the ending. I will definitely be exploring more books by Tim Miller
