Cora was mine. No one knew it, but she was still mine. Months of spending every spare minute together and then I was sent to keep an eye on Jenkins. Cora's brother. Things went sideways. The lunatic captured me, tortured me, and then I was suddenly dumped at the feet of the Fallen Lords. Now I was safe with my brothers, but suddenly she wasn't. Jenkins has what is mine, and I will do anything to get her back. Cora was mine. Contains mature themes.
Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Winter Travers is a devoted wife, mother, and aunt turned author who was born and raised in Wisconsin. After a brief stint in South Carolina following her heart to chase the man who is now her hubby, they retreated back up North to the changing seasons, and to the place they now call home. Winter spends her days writing happily ever afters, and her nights being a karate mom hauling her son to practices and tournaments. She also has an addiction to anything MC related, puppies, and baking.
Brinks was the ninth book in the Fallen Lords MC by Winters Travers.
The MC plot continued where book eight, Slayer, left off. We learned previously that Brinks and Cora had secretly become an item. They spent all of their free time together but hadn’t been ready to share it with the world yet. Until Brinks was in trouble and Cora had to fess up to the MC to help Brinks, then the world knew.
Travers took us through the MC story, which focused on concluding the conflict that had been running simultaneously with the relationship development in previous books. It was a secondary plot previously but was the primary plot in conjunction with Brinks and Cora in Brinks. It was fast paced with a bit of mystery.
In the end, it was a quick and entertaining read. The MC conflict finally came to a close. The next book, A Fallen Lords Christmas, will be out around Christmas. My assumption is that we’ll get a novella that will update us on babies and weddings, but we’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, Travers is gracing us with the next Kings of Vengeance MC, Knees to the Breeze. Although side note, sounds like we might get Leo’s story too, maybe a spinoff? Can’t wait!
WOW! Who knew the final book of the Fallen Lords would be packed with so many gut punches! Brinks and Cora are another super hot couple. Brinks was literally falling apart worrying about Cora. Cora was in her own hell with her brother Jenkins and his woman. The girl gang was keeping things interesting in the background while outside forces worked with the Fallen Lords to find and rescue Cora. Pipe once again proves why he's my favorite--Rock, Paper, Scissors! Alice and her calf are driving me crazy! I can't wait to see if she has a heifer or a bull! And now I'm worried for Wrecker and his upcoming nuptials! While I'm sad this is the last of the Fallen Lords series, I'm definitely looking forward to winter 2020 for the Moo Marriage Chronicles brought to us by Alice! Another great read! Loved the darker elements! Roll on, Fallen Lords, roll on!
I loved this! Finally Cora and Brinks story. After the ending of the last book I was so happy to read this. Great end to the series. I love Winter's books.
This was enjoyable read to end things out in this series !The story although a serious one made you laugh and giggle as well and those old ladies of this chapter really know how to make us laugh out loud throughout a story.
We loved that this was a joint effort to take out the enemy and rescue Cora in the process and the author even gave us a whopping surprise we never saw coming.
The character's were great and the story just flowed which had some action and suspense and adventure and some major retribution. It's hard not to love the Fallen Lord men and their ladies as they make it so damn easy to do so.
Overall it was a sweet read for us with a perfect ending. This series and all the books included in it left us with so many memorable character's and although we have some top favorites like Wrecker and Pipe they were all great and entertaining and each picked and old lady that was perfect for him and Alice she is just one of those old ladies that will never be forgotten for sure.
Brinks by Winter Travers is book 9 in the Fallen Lords MC Series. This is the story of Cora and Brinks. I have read the other books in this series which totally added to my enjoyment of this one. So I do feel you should read them in order but with that said you could make it a standalone book. I just enjoy catching up with the previous characters and having a history with them. Cora and Brinks where in a relationship that was kept quite but then Brinks was taken by Cora's crazy brother Jenkins. Jenkins tortured him and unknown to him at the time his life was exchanged for Cora. Of course that isn't setting well with him because Cora is his. So enjoyed this book and series.
This is was my first book I read in this nine series MC and now I definitely have to go back and read more on this group of men and women because Brinks has totally pulled me in and I need to know more!! Brinks had just been rescued from Jenkins who happens to be the brother to Cora, the woman who he has been sneaking around with. The problem is that Brinks did not know at the time that Cora was traded to her crazy brother in order to get Brinks free.
Now he was on the mission to get the woman he had fallen for from her crazy as h*ll brother and his just as crazy woman. Who knew what could happen to her? Nothing good, that’s for sure.
I loved the girl gang and can’t wait to hear more of their antics. Absolutely hilarious. The love and loyalty the Fallen Lords MC have with their women is beyond words. I am going to be the first in line for book ten of this series…after I go back to reading the first eight!!
Cora will do anything to ensure the safe return of Brinks even if that means trading places with him. The secret relationship that she and Brinks have been involved in is about to become public, but she doesn’t want that to happen until Brinks is back where he belongs and that is a sacrifice that she is more than willing to make.
When Brinks is back within the ranks of the Fallen Lords MC his only concern is getting Cora back and time is of the essence. The men of the club are on the case of Cora’s safe return but never fear the women of the club aren’t far behind.
I really like how not only are the men of the club a close group, but the women of the club always have each other’s back and their antics bring so much humor to this series.
Loved getting more of my Fallen Lords MC men but not only that but the Girl Gang!!! They add a lighthearted, hilarious side to this series that I just can't help but to love this series even more for.
Well, we finally get Cora and Brink's story. This one picked up right where it all ended in Slayer. We get to see the aftermath of Brink's return and Cora being gone. The helplessness, the anger, the heartache and more that both are feeling, amongst so much more. We get to see it all finally play out and see how crazy Jenkins is and if it will finally catch up with him.
Winter does such a wonderful job with her books and they will suck you right in. Now I suppose you could read this by itself but I really, truly think you would enjoy reading it after reading the others in order. Don't let that stop you because these are don't miss books and will become a favorite series for sure.
Wow! Are we already on the 9th installment in this series?? Can’t believe it. They just keep getting better and better. Brinks was great, he and Cora were perfectly suited and had to go through so much to be together. This book was full of action, characters we love and a great story line. This is another must read!!! Congratulations Winter Travers!!!
5 BRINKS AND CORA STARS!! What a way to end a series....Brinks and Cora gives us everything we come to expect from Winter Travers. Their story is sexy, funny, suspenseful and full of action. I absolutely love this series, if you haven't started it yet....do it now.
Great read, love Brinks and how he so fiercely loves and wants to rescue and protect Cora. And how Cora has fallen for him, that tough exterior cracked for Brinks. And the girl gang was hilarious as always.
Brinks has something for everyone and you don’t want to miss out on the action. This couple makes me smile like a loon. He is badass but sweet and Cora is sass and fire, not to mention adorable. You need to read this book for the girl gang, the cow prints, the rings and to find out how Brinks got his road name alone. Winter Travers brings out the suspense and the drama, but she also gives us the laugh out loud moments and the once in a lifetime love.
Winter Travers...ahhhhhh. Brinks has to be my second favorite book of this series..Finally Cora and Brinks... Winter you weave a beautiful sexy story. I cried, laughed and ahhhh from beginning to end. Honestly loved it. Brinks is definitely on my top 10 books of 2020!! Keep'em coming I just love your stories. Happy Reading!!
Brinks is book nine in the Fallen Lords MC series and it is highly recommended that each book be read in order. While each set of couples can be read as a standalone the MC world continues in each book and leads to the next set of characters so it will make you fall in love with the Girl Gang and the Fallen Lords Alpha men if read in order. This book will pick up right where book 8 (Slayer) ended and lead up to Brinks and Cora's current situation. Brinks our Alpha Lord (one of many) can be tortured and so much more and he would do it all over again just to save Cora. Speaking of Cora she is strong and sadly stuck being related to Jenkins. She is brave and shocks us all at the same time with what she pulled to try to save the Lords. Crazy, but brave. No wonder she bonds well with the Girl Gang! Holy Cow! (funny right, you MUST read the series to understand this) just when you think the Girls cannot try to outsmart these alpha men they turn the tables and have you laughing and rooting for them to help in this Cora situation. This book will take you on a journey, have you on the edge of your seats hoping it pans well for all (well OK except for Jenkins) and laughing even when something meant to be serious is truly funny when it comes to the things that leave the girls and alpha men mouths sometimes. Secrets come out and boy are they worth it! As we near the end of this series, I hope that we get a spin off on their offspring as they are older. This is one MC series I highly recommend.
Brinks and Cora, what to say.... To date I think this one is my second favorite book of Winter Travers. I loved it, I couldn’t stop reading once I started, only think I would have liked was little more back story on Cora and her Brother Jenkins, but it definitely didn’t change my mind about this being a 5 star read. Loved the way Winter writes, she can make you laugh so much you are spitting soda out of your nose or crying like a little baby. She definitely knows how to keep you interested in a book. Let’s see if I can give you a little about Brinks and Cora without giving spoilers... Cora is sent by her brother to the Fallen Lords to look after. While she comes across as a bi**h, Brinks discoveries not so much true. They keep everything hidden from everyone until it’s to late and Brinks disappears and then Cora ends up helping get him free but at the cost of herself, she does what she needs to do and he does what any alpha male would do to get his woman back. The words just flow and keep you turning. Go grab a copy of Brinks and get to reading book nine of the Fallen Lord MC, yes you do need to read them all and in order to get a better enjoyment and know what’s going on and who is who. Let me tell you though it will be worth every single second you spend reading. I highly recommend this book and I know you will enjoy it as much as I did! Thank you Winter Travers for letting me inside your head for a bit to get lost and fall in love with Brinks and Cora!!! Happy reading!!!
In the last book we saw Cora leave with Jenkins and the aftermath of Brinks returning and finding Cora gone. Well this picks up right where that left off and shows us what Cora goes through while she waits for the Fallen Lords to get her back. And that's about all I can say without giving any spoilers. LOL.
After seeing what he'd been up to and what happened to him, I was looking forward to Brinks' story and I was not disappointed. He's frustrated that things don't seem to be happening quick enough and feels like even the girl squad are trying to do more than his brothers are. Plenty of drama in this one and I really enjoyed it, and that little tease at the end makes me excited for what's to come. I give Brinks 4.5 stars.
***************** Review by: Jennifer (4.5 stars)
In the last book, we were left with one heck of an ending. Now, Cora is being held by her brother in a shack, and Brinks is going crazy trying to get her back. Finding her is easier said than done, and it's taking time, while they are searching for her location, time is moving on and its taking its toll on Brinks. But the one thing he does know, is when he finds her he is going to make sure everyone knows that she is his.
Super fast paced story; if you are not caught up on the series, you will not understand whats going on and who is who, so read the previous stories first. Drama, danger, violence, and some laughs; I give this 4 stars.
Man, Winter Travers has NEVER let me down with any of her stories, and she's a go to author these days. Brinks is Book 9 in the Fallen Lords MC, and while you don't have to read the previous 8 books, (well you really should read Slayer (Book 8) FIRST since it's a continuation of this MC plot), I really recommend that you do so to make the series even better, if possible. Brinks considered Cora his, though no one knew they were sneaking around hooking up, but it doesn't change that she's his. He was kidnapped by her crazy as hell brother, and since no one knew that he had claimed her in his mind, when her missing the plot insane brother wanted her traded for Brinks, his MC did so since she was willing to make that sacrifice. When Brinks found out, he straight up went gansta to get her back, which is where this story picks up at. Obviously that means there are a ton of twists which got the f-bombs dropping loud & proud, while providing the danger zone of heart pounding going. However, there's this whole Girl Gang, and they ALWAYS provide the comic relief during chaos, as each is one of a kind, especially Alice, and this particular gang ALWAYS keeps me laughing hysterically, not to mention, they're every bit as fierce as the men. So, to find out how it all wraps up (And yes I do mean the series as well though this fact has me dying inside) hit your one click button! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Their secret is out of the bag but that isn't what takes precedence, since Brinks has been returned, now they have to find Cora before her psycho brother does something horrid to her. They need to move fast, but they have no idea where to look. They've just vanished and now the Fallen Lords have to figure out how to find her and bring her back safely. That isn't sitting too well with Brinks who is about at his wit's end and desperate to find the woman who stole his heart. But Wrecker has a plan, of sorts, that involves using some outside people for help.
Brinks and Cora's story is wonderfully written and filled with excitement, intrigue, and quite a bit of nail-biting. We get to visit quite a bit with the Fallen Lords as well as the Girl Gang and all their antics, including trying to come up with their own plan to get Cora back. Those women are a trip and a half!!! This book is well written and the storyline will keep you engaged right to the end, and even then you don't want it to end. The characters were well well written and quite well developed. I love these two together and love their chemistry. I also loved being back with the Fallen Lords and seeing where they are now in their own relationships. They are still a crazy bunch that make you wish you were a part of their lives.
Great read and I cannot recommend this book/series highly enough!
I received an advanced copy from the author for my honest review. I LOVE this series!!! Winter has done an AMAZING job of making her characters a family you want to be a part of, you can even see yourself with Alice, Karmen, Nikki and the rest of the Girl Gang. I hate for the series to end but Brinks and Cora are the perfect couple for the series finale. Cora came to the clubhouse when her brother Jenkins told Wrecker to watch her and keeper her safe then Wrecker passed on the job to Brinks. Cora and Brinks have kept their relationship secret for months.....not out of embarrassment but out of having something just for themselves. When you find the person who can understand you and the demons you carry you don't let go. Now Cora's brother Jenkins has the man she loves and she has to share their secret with his Fallen Lords brothers because there is nothing she won't do to keep him safe. Brinks is vaguely aware when Jenkins dumps him out at the Fallen Lords clubhouse. When he wakes up he finds that Cora has sacrificed her life to her brother for his. He has to get her back.....living without her is not an option. The Fallen Lords are in full force and the Girl Gang will be up to their usual antics! A DEFINITE MUST READ!!!
Brinks is the 9th book in the Fallen Lords MC series and although a reader's enjoyment will be enhanced by reading the rest of the series (if only to meet the hilarious Girl Gang), it's not required. Each book is a standalone story.
When Cora came to live with the Fallen Lords, no once expected her to become part of their family but that's exactly what she did. The Girl Gang adopted her and brought her back to life. Now that life, and the love she's come to know, hangs in the balance. When Brinks, the biker she's fallen for, is taken by her psychotic brother, there's only one thing for her to do. Sacrificing herself was easy, staying alive might not be.
Brinks is lost when Cora is taken. Shaken and angry, he is desperate for answers. Despite their sneaking around, he's fallen hard for the sassy woman and he's not letting her go. Now he has to find her and convince her!
Another great installment in the Fallen Lords series! While this book did move a little slow for me, I thoroughly enjoyed the brothers and the crazy Girl Gang as usual! The loyalty, laughs and total devotion is awesome.

Sweet mother of all that is alpha male and beautiful lovely lady that they love so much. You meet Brinks in all the Fallen Lords MC. You see him as the alpha male that holds his MC as his priority. You also see Cora, she is the sister of Jenkins, he was the president of the Fallen Lords mother chapter till he went rogue and backstabbed the MC. What no one anticipated was that those two would be together behind everyone's back. Alice is not happy. (I love that cow printed loon) All Brinks wants is to get his woman back safely in his arms. All Cora wants is to be away from her crazed brother. Let's just say this book sent me on a rollercoaster like no other Fallen Lords has before. I couldn't put it down. I had to know how my baby Brinks was doing. I loved seeing how all my Lords and the Girl Gang was doing. This had been one of my favorite series. I hope we get more or at least a second generation.
Finally getting Brinks’ story! After how the last book ended with Brinks severely injured after being kidnapped, but also giving us the surprise that he was seeing Cora, I was interested as to how they would get her back. Essentially trading Brinks for Cora, her brother who she hates kidnaps her and the secret of their relationship comes out for the entire MC to know. I loved how the girl gang had Cora’s back and really showed her growth from the first book in the series when her brother sent her to that chapter to now, and how they would go behind their husbands backs in order to save Cora themselves. In addition, we get to see how fiercely protective and in love Brinks is towards Cora and how the interacted both before and after the kidnapping and being found out. I can’t wait to see what happens next with this MC and what the girl gang will get into with Jenkins finally no longer being a threat. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Exciting romantic MC adventure. The author has given us a well written storyline with all the wonderful characters involved with the Fallen Lords MC. The storyline is exciting full of thrilling MC action as well a funny vibe that only the girl gang can bring to the story.
Brink was kidnapped by Jenkins, his girlfriend Cora’s psycho bother. The club was unaware of Brinks and Cora’s relationships. So when Jenkins offer to trade Brinks for Cora, the club accepts - at Cora’s her request insistence. But Brinks is livid. Now he’s on a mission to get Cora back. With the help from some unexpected allies the club plots to find and rescue her. But will they be too late to save her from her brother's nefarious plans? If they find her what kind of shape will she be in both mentally and physically?
This is a wonderful book/series that I highly recommend reading. It’s very well written and kept me flipping pages as fast as I could read. 2 Thumbs Up 5 Stars.
What a wonderful ending to a great series. I loved Brinks & Cora. Brinks fall for her while he's babysitting her for the club. Brinks is captured and tortured by Jenkins (whose sister is Cora), who they've been after for the longest time. Almost left for dead, he's now back with the club and healing, BUT Jenkins kidnaps Cora and has her somewhere they don't know. They form somewhat of an alliance with Leo & Oakley to help them get Cora back. When Alice and the "Girl Gang" hear about this, they want to do something themselves to get her back. She's told no. Once Brinks and some of the Fallen Lords do get Cora back, their next mission is to get Jenkins and get rid of him once and for all. Once that happens, Brinks tells Cora he loves her and asks her to marry him. Alice and the "Girl Gang" her help plan the wedding with cow prints and all. Finally a real happy ending and things are calm in their life for now. If you haven't read this series, you should. It's great.
Ninth book in the series – although they can be read as standalone’s, reading in order does give you more of the background, and you don’t want to miss the Girl Gang. Brinks gets out of hospital and all he is focused on is how to get Cora away from her brother before he harms her. Even though no one knew about him and Cora, he knows she has his heart and he will do anything to get her back. Cora knew that Jenkins was going to kill Brinks if she didn’t go, but she thought she knew him better, and could survive him, she had before, she knew she wasn’t going to die, that he wanted her for something, but could she survive him until the Fallen Lords and Brinks found her. Finally getting some information and they go to rescue Cora, which is interesting with Mary Had A Lamb, the wicked witch of the West, Humpty Dumpty and Rock, paper, scissors. All Brinks knows is when they get home his making her his not matter what she says.
Brinks was held by Cora's psychotic brother. The only way to get him back alive was for Cora to take his place. That didn't go over with Brinks when he woke up and found out.
Their secret relationship was no longer a secret. He didn't care as long as they got her back but where was she? The club works to find her. Will they find her? If they do will it be in time?
Don't worry fans, the girl gang is alive and annoying the guys. So much fun. I often give a tissue warning for sad parts. This tissue warning is for laughing-till-you-cry. There will be cow prints! If you are new to the series, don't worry you'll catch on quickly.
This is another fun, dangerous, story with a loyal family of MC brothers and the women they love. It's filled with heat, tricks, fun, danger, and surprises.
WOW! Who knew the final book of the Fallen Lords would be packed with so many gut punches! Brinks and Cora are another super hot couple. Brinks was literally falling apart worrying about Cora. Hands down Brinks is my favorite man now from this MC!!!!
Brinks and Cora have had a secret relationship for a while. No one in the clubhouse knew. When Cora is taken Brinks makes it clear there is no other option than to get her back ASAP because of what she means to him.
We see a side to Cora that we haven’t seen before in this book. We get a softer Cora and we learn more about her relationship with her brother. I didn’t like her much before this book and that changed quickly once I started reading.
Brinks stepped it up to be my favorite man with the MC when he got Cora back. That man is a fairytale Prince Charming hiding in an MC.
Now obviously we can’t have a book in this series without crazy laughter and you get that several times. I’m also waiting to see a book about Oakley and Leo. You will love this book!
