خیلی صبر کردم که یخورده بیشتر از داستان بخونم تا بتونم یک ریویو هر چند مختصر در موردش بنویسم. کینگدام اثری تاریخی/حماسی است درباره چگونگی اتحاد چین برای اولین بار توسط چین شی هوانگ اولین امپراتور چین اما از منظر پسری به نام شین که تصمیم گرفته بهترین ژنرال کل چین بشه و به اتحاد اون به چین شی هوانگ کمک کنه. نکته ای که این اثر رو خیلی شاخص میکنه توجه به مسائل نظامی و استراتژیکی جنگ هاست که در هیچ مانگایی با این جزئیات مشاهده نمیشه و مخاطب شاهد دسیسه هایی هست که کلی فکر پشتشون بوده و نویسنده برای باهوش جلوه دادن برخی کارکترها باقی رو خنگ نمیکنه بلکه ما با افراد زیرک و با استعداد زیادی طرفیم که شطرنج ذهنی با هم برای تصاحب قدرت بازی میکنن.
این مانگا سوای داستان خوبش از طراحی های قوی بهره منده که هر آرک نسبت به قبل بهتر و بهتر میشه تا اینکه به جایی میرسه که شاهد پنل های شاهکاری هستیم.
مانگای کینگدام با وجود سینن بودن در ابتدا مشابه آثار شونن آغاز میشه اما هر چه بیشتر پیش میره داستان پخته تر و مناسب مخاطب بزرگسال میشه و شخصیت ها در طول نبرد شخصیت پردازی هاشون انجام میشه و با بالاتر رفتن سنشون رشد میکنن پس برای افتادن در جریان اصلی داستان و رد شدن از مقدمه چینی ها نیازمند کمی صبر و حوصله هست اما به لطف نکاتی که گفتم به هیچ عنوان در زمینه تعلیق و کشش داستانی مشکلی نداره و از پیسینگ خوبی برخورداره پس بیخود نیست که ازش به عنوان یکی از بهترین آثار تاریخی/نظامی در حوزه کمیک و مانگا و کلا داستان های مصور یاد میشه.

یک ژنرال مثل سردسته ۱۰۰ یا ۱۰۰۰ نفره، اون چیزی نیست جز یه مقام. یه درجه. هر چند یک دسته خاص می‌تونن بهش برسن، اونایی که از کشتی مرگ با پیروزی بیرون میان و کارهای بزرگی می‌کنن تا به هدفشون برسن.
و به عنوان نتیجه، یک ژنرال این وظیفه رو می‌گیره که از هزاران هزار زندگی محافظت کنه و این بزرگ‌ترین افتخاره. به همین خاطر موجودیت یک ژنرال چنین وزنی با خودش داره. به همین خاطر چنان می‌درخشه که همه چیز رو روشن می‌کنه.

یک ژنرال کامل..
مثل یک ژنرال صد نفره یا هزار نفره است (ژنرالی که فرمانده صد یا هزار است).
اونها فقط اسمای متفاوتی ان برای موقعیت ها و رده ها.
اما فقط تعداد کمی از آدم ها میتونن به اون درجه برسن.
اون مقام جاییه که فقط اونهایی که تونستن مرگ رو در خیلی از دفعات شکست بدن و موفقیت های زیادی به دست بیارن میتونن بهش برسن.
پس به دست آوردن عنوان ژنرال کامل افتخاری بزرگ در مسئول بودن برای کنترل هزارها و ده ها هزار زندگی است.
پس این وجود سنگینه!
پس با نوری خیره کننده میدرخشه!

Mon tome préféré pour le moment. La mort d’Ouki est magnifique et digne de ce grand personnage et elle marque le début d’un nouvel âge.

Ouki: Grande Generale dei Cieli.

Si potrebbe tranquillamente riassumere qui lo straordinario volume che chiude la saga che ha visto lo Zhao e il Qin in guerra.

Guardando Ouki combattere con Houken - guardando un generale, temuto dai nemici e amato alla follia dal suo esercito, lottare contro un eremita che non ha mai avuto alcun uomo sotto di sé - Shin capisce cosa significa essere un generale: “Portare sulle tue spalle la volontà dei caduti”.

Ouki non cade una sola volta dal suo fido cavallo.
Ouki muore, a cavallo, fiero come è sempre stato: sono solo gli occhi a diventare bianchi, privi di vita.
La sua leggenda vivrà in eterno.
E la sua eredità non andrà sprecata.

I watched the anime first. Reading the manga for the first time. The fall of the bird of Qin, really gets me. It wasn't as impactful as the anime, but still a very impactful chapter probably the best up to this point. Mobu being a stubborn bull head, really did Ouki in, though it was probably his time, seeing as for plot purposes the old generation must fall at some point. I really which it wouldn't have been this early in the series.

Damn, that's certainly a way to end on arc. There's a sense of finality here (for multiple reasons), like it's a culmination of everything in the series thus far. There are big losses on both sides, new enemies introduced who are sure to be a problem in the future, and some status quo changes that are sure to shake things up.

Le tome le plus triste, le plus émouvant, mais aussi le plus beau et époustouflant jusque-là. Ouki n'était pas n'importe qui, si Zhao pensait que l'Oiseau colossal de Qin s'écraserait au sol à l'issue de cette guerre, je pense qu'au contraire il a pris son envol avec plus d'élan que jamais.
Et quelle loyauté, quelle force, que celle de l'armée d'Ouki. Voir ces hommes donner leur vie, matérialiser leur rage, pour protéger le dernier souffle de leur seigneur.. C'était magnifique.
