The clock stops for no one.
Promises have come undone-Aiz could not kill the monster who wept in front of her while shielding Bell. For nights on end, those tears have haunted her, obscuring her reason to fight and guiding her to face Bell for the first time since their conflict...
But they aren't the only ones joining hands across familias. With the dawn of the Knossos operation upon them, the patron gods tear down their differences. The adventurers march toward their fate with the Xenos by their side. For life, for death, and for the destiny of Orario, they hold their heads high, ready for war-failing to realize that the darkest of times is yet to come...

Is there a plot thread in this series that Hermes and/or Freya doesn't have their sticky fingers all over? This is perhaps why gods should not be allowed to decide who the heroes are "supposed" to be.

Not quite what I was expecting, but not in a bad way. A lot of very interesting things happened in this volume and it appears there is only one left. There is a lot of stuff for a number of characters we do not get to spend enough time with, but that left me feeling like we didn't spend any time with those that the series seems to be about (eg, Aiz).

That being said we got an incredible bit with Amid which was really cool.

There have got to be some repercussions from this volume so I'm curious to know what is coming next. I may have to quit the new book I started for a bit and read vol 12!

Anyhow, if you like Sword Oratoria, you'll probably like this one.

The story has been growing so grand, something had to happen - this was it. While many threads were tied up, several more have arisen. It will be interesting to see what happens next with Ais and Lefiya, but things have and will change going forward. I look forward to seeing how their characters grow.

One of the best volumes of the series, which seems to be getting to the climax.
Excellent pace with a lot of action scenes and the ending is just awesome and shocking!

A lot of action, seems like the problem with the evils is going to be resolved in the next few books. Maybe we will find out more about Aiz.
