In this new 11th edition, Irwin and Nelms continue to develop the most complete set of pedagogical tools available and thus provide the highest level of support for students entering into this complex subject. Irwin and Nelms trademark student-centered learning design focuses on helping students complete the connection between theory and practice. Poignant read. This book--no, scripture, has the capacity to shake anyone to their soul and make them question the purpose of life, existence of god, and fundamental nature of our universe. A most vivid writing style is paired with stellar visual aids for an unparalleled reading experience. Brought tears to my eyes and bodily fluids out of numerous other orifices (mostly blood).

Also has a lot of pictures of circuits for some reason?

Not a well-written textbook at all. Writing is extremely convoluted and difficult to understand, which is too bad considering the importance of the topic. The answers are also very vague and skip most of the calculus, which can lead to problems when getting into the more advanced Laplace equations. I'm only giving this two stars because the questions were actually good and mentally stimulating.
