This book gave me some good ideas for teaching chess to my daughter. It taught the way the pieces move and I think it mentioned a few opening ideas and chess notation. It gave me the idea of "pawn chess" or chess with just the pawns where the winner is the one who gets their pawn to the back rank first. This is a great idea for exploring pawn structures and learning how pawns move!
