Book 2 in this series flows seamlessly from Book 1 so you come into it already knowing the characters. That said, if you haven't read the previous, don't worry, because everything you need to know is explained, you won't feel lost! Lily struggles with the idea of being with a younger man but didn't seem to struggle with the whole D/s side of the relationship at all. I found that exciting in a character - that she could know what she wants & what to do in order to get it. Instead of all the angst you tend to find in other similar stories. Really enjoyed it, & hoping Book 3 is just as good.

When Dominic Cordes notices Lily Phillips he suspects she is a submissive, they have sex that was mindblowing on both sides.. Dominic decides to act on his continued fascination with Lily when sees her again. Dominic wants to explore having Lily in his life, but when her ex threatens to expose them in a way that can ruin Dominic's career she pushes Dominic away. Dominic has no intention of giving up Lily, he is going to protect her whatever way he can and he doesn't plan to let her go.

I liked Dominic a lot, he maybe a bit younger than Lily but he is definitely in command. Captivating read that had a twist I never saw coming. Another great read from Becca Jameson.

Lily meets Dominic at a football watching party at his house. He gives her a tour of his house with them having some loving time together. She is older than he is, owns her own art gallery, and wants to keep things on the down low about them. He is obsessed with her though he does not do anything more since he is off to spring training in a few days. When they meet again, they become more involved until Lily receives threatening texts from her ex. She tries to cut Dominic loose, but he gets the truth out of her. Will they survive her ex? Will they have a future?

I enjoyed this story. It was hot! I loved that Lily was older than Dominic. I liked that Dominic was persistent after they met again. I understood why Lily felt she had to cut Dominic loose, but I was glad Dominic did not care about the publicity. He cared about Lily which I don't think she had a lot of in her life since she raised her younger sister after their parents' deaths. I was glad that Dominic was someone she could talk to about her feelings towards her parents. I will admit, I will never make it as a detective. I figured it out when Lily realized what happened.

I look forward to the rest of the series.

I wanted to like it, I really did.
The idea behind the story and characters is interesting but

1. I just didn't feel like they had any chemistry.
2. I didn't understand if Dominic was a dom, because he just was and found out, or he "turned" into a dom, because that story of almost messing up his live and then trying to get control over it by controlling this aspect of his life, sounds a lot like he "turned" into a dom and don't think it works that way
3. Lily just pissed me off with the "he is a teenager", "he is a man-child", "I'm a grown woman"... honestly she was rather childish he was way more grown-up and mature than she was
4. And the entire ex-thing was just bullshit, conflict for the sake of conflict and the resolution was even more stupid

I repeat I think Becca Jameson writes well, and I wanted to like it. But I feel this is a problem with many female protagonists they are just stupid, childish, immature and pardon my french a bit on the bitchy side.
I'm sorry but its a no!

PS: Don't get me started on the f'ing giggles and smirks, it's not sexy, it's stupid!!
I'm sorry I'm ranting...

I loved how this book smoothly transitioned from book 1 so you easily got comfy reading it, it was also great that Dominic is different to Brett in soo many ways!
After getting to know Lily a bit in book 1 it was great to get to know her some more and see she real is such a solid character like I thought. She is strong yet vulnerable with the best intentions always in mind who gets caught up in something that is not her fault and tries to take care of it herself. Dominic is younger than Lily but just what she needs and thankfully stubborn enough to battle it out with her while also allowing her to see how good he can be for her. There were plenty of hot'n'heavy moments as well a some twists and surprises that you really don't see coming!

Can not wait to read book 3 in this series as they get better and better.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Lily was nervous about seeing Dominic again. He never called and neither did she, figuring it was better left as a one night thing. It was Zia and Brett's wedding and the rehearsal dinner would the first time she would see him.

Unfortunately or fortunately however you choose to look at it, the attraction is still there. Instant and hot, it fuels a fire only Dominic with his controlling ways could quench.

However, Lily is afraid, not only of her reactions but also her ex-boyfriend. Luke seems to have taken up following her and taking pictures of her and Dominic. The worst were the texts and the threat to make them public if she continues to see him. This is part of the scene where he is trying to convince her to fess up.

With plenty of persistence and a lot of patience Dominic finally gets the story out of her. Finally convincing her to take legal action.

Even with the restraining order, Luke continues his stalking of Lily with threatening texts and letters. Wearing on both of them as the season starts for Dominic. The time apart also gives Lily a chance to investigate this submissive side of her and visit the Zodiac Club to observe.

Once again Becca has taken us on a journey of finding the submissive within. I truly love her Dominants. They have the patience and strength to teach and are rewarded with the best gift of all... submission.

All of that and a surprising twist.

This is the second book in the Spring Training Series by Becca Jameson and in no way does this book rate 2nd. Dominic and Lily's story is hot, hot, hot. Dom is a dom and after meeting Lily he realizes she has a submissive side and he wants to show her his world. However will an ex who threatens their relationship, a hectic life, baseball groupies and their age difference all be too much. Their story has your Kindle steaming up, has you on the edge of your seat questioning what the ex will do next and falling in love with Lily and Dom. A must read.

Dominic is definite a DOM. *fans self* He's easing Lily into the lifestyle & all, but whew!

So, this was a STEAMY story, that I mostly enjoyed. Lily is dealing w/ a stalker & I liked how that storyline played out. Very twisted stalker! Lily is kinda a brat through a lot of this story, which annoyed me. I like Dominic & seeing Z & Brett & Lily's sister, Ava & Xavier, catching up & getting a glimpse of the next story. And everything had a pretty good flow, altho the ending seemed a little abrupt to me, probably because Lily was being such a brat earlier! LOL All in all, it was a good story & I enjoyed it, though! : )

This is the second book in this series and it is so good. The chemistry between Dominic and Lily is explosive. Once you add the D/s aspect, and the amazing plot twist and turns you have a real page turner. Once I started this book, I could not put it down.

This book is hotter and steamier than south Florida in July.
When gallery owner Lily Phillips kicks her cheating boyfriend to the curb, the last thing she expects is to hook up with her very sexy host at a house party that same evening. Dominic gorgeous, hot and a all alpha male and he awakens feelings in Lily that the strong, confident professional didn't know she was capable of. They'd both like to see more of each other, but a psycho stalker and the demands of their jobs combine to make that a little complicated and it remains to be seen whether they can overcome the challenges they face and explore the powerful attraction that draws them together.
Catching Lily is a story about baseball players although there's very little actual baseball. Rather, it's about love and sex, dominance and submission. It features graphic sex and tasteful mild BDSM scenes likely to pique the interest of the curious.
Catching Lily is the second of a planned series of four books about baseball players. Set during spring training in the Grapefruit League, it's the perfect way to put you in the mood for the next season with the boys of summer.

I love me a good Becca Jameson book. This is the second one in her new series about baseball players and the women who fall for them. I loved this book because even though Dominic plays baseball the story does not center around that. Dominic is a dominant that falls for an older woman that owns an art gallery.
This book also as some suspense in it which makes it that much more enjoyable.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book and my opinions are honest!

You can''t miss this book.
It had a little bit of a mystery thriller feeling to this book.
I don't want to spoil, but it is not what you think will happen.
Lily almost let fear dictate her life.
Good thing that Dom was there to support + comfort her.
Lily had a great support system that helped her to see what she was missing in her life.
I was very glad that Lily decided to take a chance + go for it.

Catching Lily (Spring Training Book 2)

ByCraftychemiston February 14, 2017

After being dragged to a football party after a) best friend gets engaged b) dumping cheater boyfriend, Lilly Phillips was surprised how the party would play out.
Three months later Lilly sees Dominic for the first time since the night of the football party. Sparks fly quick and things heat up until the ex boyfriend sends a text during the rehearsal dinner that changes everything.
Sizzle with a plot is my favorite type of hot book. I wasn't disappointed in the least. This is the first book I have read by Becca Jameson but won't be my last.
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Several miscommunications. Lily was a runner like Zia from the previous book. Lily should have told Dominic about the picture since he was in it. To me it had more of an HFN than a HEA. Unless I missed it no declaration of love.

Seriously?... Dominic?? Super hot!! This may just be my favourite one in the series!!
In the second instalment of the Spring Training series we have the HOT romance of Dominic and Lily. Lily the best friend if Zia in the previous novel is an art gallery owner. Dominic the pitcher for Miami and best friend to Zia's husband.
These two meet in an explosive note. What's better than a romp in the bathroom five minutes after you meet??
After that rencontre the don't speak. She thinks he might be too young. He has BSDM tendencies which she's isn't sure she likes.
Dominic the pitcher for Miami. Hot as hell!! Very cocky but very serious about what he wants with Lily no matter what age she is.
Add in an annoying ex stalker boyfriend of Lily's and you have the amazing story!!
Can't wait for the third book!!

If you were enamored by Brett and Zia’s story in Catching Zia you will be over the moon in love with Dominic and Lily’s story in Catching Lily! Catching Lily is Book Two in Becca Jameson’s Spring Training series. We met both Lily and Dominic in the first book.

Lily accompanies Brett and Zia to a party at Dominic’s house. During the party, Dominic offers to give Lily a tour of the house which is interrupted by mind-blowing sex (with a little dominance thrown in)! One would think that this would be the beginning of a hot relationship however, Lily leaves the party and neither tries to contact the other for some time.

Fast-forward three months and it is time for Brett and Zia’s wedding. One thing leads to another and Lily once again finds herself submitting to Dominic. The relationship that blooms is sweet and sensual. Even with a crazy ex-boyfriend, an aggressive female fan, and crazy work schedules, it is easy to see the relationship between Dominic and Lily grow. The events leading to the happy-ending were wonderfully thought out – I couldn’t put this book down!
