It's not a favorite, but this book had some really god information in it.

I knew somethings like about our galaxy being the Milky way, but didn't know about one that is bigger called Andromeda. It talked about the constellations Leo the Lion, Orion the Hunter and the Big Dipper to name some.

The sun is million times larger than earth. The different colors of stars show how hot they are. Suns made up of mainly hydrogen gas with small amount of helium.

Egyptians and Babylonians worshiped the sun as a god. Without the sun we have no rain. If was closer we'd burn up farther away we'd freeze.

Great book of facts for kids and adults a like.

This book gives many important facts about the sun, solar system, stars, galaxies, and constellations. This would be a helpful book to read to upper elementary students when starting a lesson in science about space.
