Sophomore year is still a growing year, especially when it comes to Alexis and relationships. When unexpected circumstances put her under the same roof as Jaden for the school year, she’ll be forced to deal with new attractions and distractions coming her way.
But do you really ever forget your first?
(For the full story, I highly encourage you to check out Attractions & Distractions: Freshman Year first! )

Another five star novel! Loved it. I know the confusion associated with trying to figure everyday life out, combined with heart matters. Outstanding read. I'm looking forward to the next book...even had to use self restraint in not buying the others right now.
Listen…Alexis and Jaden are talented and intelligent…and absolutely annoying this book. 🙄 Sophomore year had less confusion and way more pride, and pride is loud and stubborn.
Every time they almost communicated, pride stepped in like, “Nope, hold that.” What does the Good Book say? “Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.” (Proverbs 16:18) And baby, both of them were toe-stepping on that fall line every chapter.
I get it though, young love + old wounds + zero emotional toolkits is a recipe for mess. Yet still, at some point I wanted to shake both of them and yell, “USE YOUR WORDS!”
Cute read. Messy lessons. And even though they tested my patience, I’m still rooting for them. Maybe I’m the problem! 😅
To be young & foolish, priceless🤷🏾♀️‼️ “Attractions & Distractions: Sophomore Year” was a good read, but annoying (says the forty years their senior lens 🤭!) However, I’m scared & concerned for both Alexis & Jaden’s cat and mouse game. …reckless hookups, jealousy, social media stalking, innuendos, emotional detachment & lies of omission ect. ! Exhausting‼️The body count for these two is/was astonishing! Rivals the equivalent of a child’s first solo Sears and Robucks ( Nostalgia’s sibling Déjà vu 🤣😂) catalog Christmas list 🥴😬😮💨📜‼️Mr. Martin’s car accident just might be the reality check Alexis & Jaden needs!
Sophomore year was definitely better than freshman year as expected. Alexis and Jayden just can't catch a break. They keep getting together to break apart. It's getting irritating
I am loving reading about Jaden and Alexis! They have so much drama to be so young but they keep coming back to each other. Sometimes I think Alexis is too trustworthy with the guys she goes out with. She needs to trust her gut more. On to the next book.
Alexis and Jaden stay with the mess lol they both have wayyyyy too much pride. They need to work on their communication skills. Talk things out and not just assume.
I was happy about Alexis and Jaden finally getting it together but now it looks like it’s falling apart yet again... so frustrating when I just want them to win... Can’t wait to see how the next level of drama unfolds
Wow this author is bomb...Alexis and Haden has finally made it official but who is this mystery lady hopefully not Natasha please don't tell me Haden done messed up again!! Can't wait to star part 3
Things are really heating up. Jaden and Alexis still doing way too much. Just when you think they are finally going to get it together something happens. But despite the back and forth, this is a well written story that keeps engaged. On to part 3 or junior year.
It’s getting better and better every book! So I don’t hate Alexis in this one but I definitely want her to grow up, both of them actually they need to. Learn to communicate, it’s key.
And the plot thickens. Just when I thought everything finally was as it was supposed to be. This has me sitting on the edge of my seat. Up next yep you guessed it junior year.
I'm not going to lie... I thought their was still hope for Tyree until there wasn't. I'm still trying to warm up to Jaden, so we'll see what the next book has in store!
I enjoyed the story, but was left expecting more. I get the back and forth; it's interesting and intriguing. I am becoming frustrated. I need to see more development between Alexis and Jordan to stay vested. Too quick of a read. I finished in about an hour and a half...

to Okay this was some drama for you times ten! This was a solid follow-up to the first story in a very good series.I love that the writer is going a little more into detail and deeper into the emotions of the two main characters.I love all the Grandmama moments, they are simply laugh out loud funny. This was well worth me stepping out of my normal.
