A home tells a story; it should be a celebration of the family that resides there. For well-known Instagram influencer (@littlefarmstead) and lifestyle blogger Julie Thomas, family and friends are at the center of it all. Through stories of transforming a fixer-upper into a charming farmhouse for her loved ones to enjoy, Julie reveals dozens of simple ways that anyone can bring warmth, joy, and meaning to their everyday homes.
From farmhouse gatherings to seasonal decorating--plus a chapter on making Christmas magic--this beautiful and practical hardcover volume is one to turn to again and again. Whether you're smack in the city, out in the country, or living life in the suburbs, you can begin creating the home of your dreams . . . in the space you live in now.
This book was absolutely beautiful in both photography and text. I enjoyed seeing her mention some of my favorite chicken breeds and to learn of the most adorable breed of sheep. This is not a nitty gritty how to book, but rather an inspiring look at what's possible, while still being real and truthful. The author says "I've often found it funny that the so-called "simple life" so many of us idealize actually requires quite a lot of work and time." I loved the seasonal living section and the themed birthdays their space and lifestyle allowed them to create for their children.
Before reading this book I was a beta pleb that played Xbox for hours and hours on end. After reading this book I suddenly became a gigachad and began bench pressing 700 pounds with ease.
Anyone who reviews this book negatively is definitely a Sussy Baka
