This is an extremely in-depth and detailed look at the Hong Kong movie industry. However, it is 90% listing numerous movies and plot summaries, and 10% background and insight. I would have preferred much more of the latter.

Also, this might be more useful in a printed format.

I was able to skim much of this, since it is essentially a revised and updated edition of Sex & Zen & A Bullet in the Head, rather than a sequel. The updates are useful, particularly concerning film/video availability.
