The adventures of college student Rica, as she attends university in Tokyo and visits the gay and lesbian district looking for friendship and love. Rica's story is sweet and funny, realistic and a little wacky - with a refreshing lack of self-hatred and doubt, but with no lack of real emotions.
A really happy, cute, relatable story about lesbian young adults. The art style is simple and charming. I wish I read this when I was in high school, very positive lesbian representation.
Since there wasn't much time left for the 2011 challenge and I was still one book short, I scrounged around for some graphic novel I haven't read in eons and dug this up. Cheating? Possibly. But it works.
There's not much to say about this - it's a cute, short story about two college-aged women falling in love, starring the warm, friendly Rica and the slightly more stoic Miho. I went through a shoujo-ai phase as a teenager and picked this up at a con. Five or six years later, it's still adorable. D'aww.
I picked this up at Chicago Comics and read it on the train. It's a very cute and heartwarming story of two girls who have a relationship. The illustration style is cutesy, and the story a little hard to follow (for me! I sometimes couldn't figure out which frame came next) All in all a really sweet read.
i'm not "into" yuri or anything, but when i was at animenext a few years ago, i passed by a vendor who was selling it. she started talking to me about it, and was really enthusiastic and awesome, so i picked this up because the illustrations are adorable.
it was cute! i love love - gay or straight, it doesn't matter to me. and this put me in the best mood. i'm really happy i bought it.
