After three years of trading barbs with Professor Hank Talbot, I should have been immune to his insults, but the handsome, arrogant playboy knew exactly how to push my buttons. But when he told our colleagues my idea of a good time was staying home to organize my sock drawer, I’d had enough. He wanted to see me let loose? Fine. Challenge accepted.
From dive bars to dance clubs, that night we hit up the best that Sin City had to offer—including a stop at Elvis’s little white wedding chapel. That’s right, folks. Hank and I got drunk in Las Vegas and then we got hitched. Talk about a cliché.
But what was even more surprising than accidentally marrying the man I hated most in the world was realizing it might not be a mistake after all.

My Thoughts Short and sweet. I could've done with the story being about 100 pages longer as I would've liked to see Hank woo Miranda.
Intriguingand captivating! This is my first story by this author, and I just loved the plot. But more so I am in awe how well developed the characters were and how well the humorous dialog went with the emotional moments.

Huh. That was the quickest book that wasn't a novella I've ever read. Head scratcher. The couple just gets together and...BAM...its over. What's up with that? At the 84% mark they're talking about where to live. And that's just it? It's over? Seemed more the half way mark than the end. So odd.
Miranda had guy issues and certainly took it on on a colleague. The love hate relationship with Hank was off the chart, they bickered on everything. While in Vegas, she mentioned her past on losing her virginity and how what a jerk the guy was after leaving her hatred for men known. Hank was not ok in hearing this and though they were drunk, they stumbled upon the chapel and said “I do.” Waking up the next day, Miranda was foggy why Hank was in her bed all naked glory. Last evenings memories started coming back and he gave her the chance to run but in the end they both accepted their vows. From enemies to lovers to marrying into a rich family, Miranda has her life ahead now with the hot billionaire, though she cared less on his money.

This is a new to me author and I found this book on BookSprout to review. What a breath of fresh air, fun, great banter between Hank and Miranda. I loved the push and pull, the supposed hatred for one another, only to find out that Hank has been secretly pinning for Miranda and when the trip to Vegas turns into a battle of the wits and how much each of them can drink, the more time they spent together, showed them that they really don’t “hate” each other. Miranda begins to see Hank in a different light, he’s all man, sexy, hot as heck and actually very sweet. All those misguided feelings only to realize that maybe it’s more than what they think. No spoilers from me, loved this book, and I will definitely continue to read whatever this author has coming out way next.
The Worst Man by Rebecca Norinne a five-star read that will show you the worst is sometimes the best. This was such a compelling read as the characters had such depth to them, Hank, Hank, Hank what are we going to do with you, he is such a confusing and compounding man. He is truly a man of his circumstances, but he has such power and drive, he must to face Miranda as she is definitely someone you need power to face. But when you get her story you understand why. This was such a well done and well put together story, you won’t want to miss it.
This was a great book. Well written, with a high heat factor. I loved these two professors together. Quick, witty banter and steam oozing off the pages.
Miranda and Hank have been at each other’s throats for a while now. The thin line between love and hate has never been thinner than with these two. Snarky comebacks are running rampant between them as they make their way to a business meeting in Las Vegas. Once there however the tide starts to turn a little more toward love and less on hate. After a night of drinking, a dare made by a colleague, Miranda and Hank wake up married and surprisingly both are more than ok with that fact.
Miranda and Hank head back home, married but still separated by living arrangements and a weird financial offer made by his parents. They make the switch from frenemies to lovers in one single jump and never look back. They seem to be a match made in Heaven.
The major issue I have with most novellas is the speed at which you need to establish everything you would get in a full-length novel with 1/3 of the pages. This novella fit that bill for me in that it needed more pages to get into the depth I felt it needed to make a better established story. I enjoy Ms Norinne’s writing style usually but this felt rushed to me, even for a novella. I like a quick meet cute to forever as much as the next reader but I needed more to sink my teeth into with this one. 3 ¾ stars though overall, not a bad read by any means and others may enjoy the quickness of this novella. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy without expectations.

One drunken night the worst man becomes the best man..........Now What???
The Worst Man is a funny and entertaining book in A Wedding Season series.
The book is about Miranda, a 30's, literature Professor at a university in Boston and Hank, a 30's, literature Professor at the same university. Now these two hate each other and throw jabs at each other ever chance they get. This started when Hank humilated Miranda a the faculty Christmas party when she went by herself and he made a joke about her not having a date because she "was more frigid than a cold New England winter" in front of her colleagues. So the games were one from that point on.
These two end up having to attend a yearly conference in Los Vegas and have to sit together also. The flight is more than tension filled and you can already see where this trip is going. Or can you??? Over the conference, with a lot of drinks, there are more than a few twists and some things revealed which cause each of them to reevaluate the situation. Can your "enemy" really become your "destiny" over the course of one drunken night in Las Vegas? Or is "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" true?
I enjoyed this story as it was fun, flirty, emotional and believable. Miranda and Hank, along with some of the secondary characters, were well developed and understandable.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Hank and Miranda are co-workers and three years ago he humiliated her…and she is holding a grudge. They have to travel to Vegas for work, where a certain challenge comes into play at a bar, and how does that saying go??? What happens in Vegas…
If you are looking for a fun, quick, wake-up-in-Vegas-married-to-someone-you-hate, read…then The Worst Man by Author Rebecca Norinne is a good one! I really enjoyed this story! There was humor and heat, storyline was enjoyable, and the characters were great.
**Kind of, but not really a spoiler…. There is one part that kind of sits weird with me: He is angry about the situation where she lost her virginity, yet he consummates the marriage while she is so drunk she cannot remember. This seems a bit hypocritical IMO.
I love enemies-to-lovers stories and this one was perfect! Two work colleagues who apparently hate each other end up next to each other on the plane to Vegas for work. But Miranda can’t take the digs anymore and steps up to the drinking challenge with Hank. They end up drunk and married after admitting their true feelings for each other and it’s explosive. They work through it and it’s great seeing the new side of their relationship. I love the jealous, dominant alphas who only want their women to themselves. I only wish there would have been an epilogue.

A quick and entertaining read that will leave you with a happy feeling. Hank Talbot has been a thorn in Miranda’s side for years, he’s a professor and she also is a teacher at the same college. Heading to Vegas for a conference, she is totally upset that she has to sit beside him on the entire flight there. They are constantly bickering between themselves. He hates her and she hates him, right??? Wonderful well written storyline and characters that come alive. It’s a witty, fun and entertaining read. I loved it.

Miranda and Hank "hate" each other and constantly fight and argue with each other. They are off to a work conference together in Vegas. Hank throws down a challenge to Miranda and she is not one to back down. Miranda wins and lets things about her past come to light and Hank wants to prove her that she is worth more. They drunkenly get married and they have to decide if they want to stay married or if they want to give this marriage a fighting chance. What happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas!

Miranda and Hank have THAT type of relationship that reminds us that those who pick on us, must like us....right?
Secret feelings, Vegas wedding and a woman who could out drink a man is only the start of getting to see these characters. They hide away their true selves from the world so I loved that together they have not only opened the door for the other, they took the hinges and threw them away.
It's a quick story and by the end I knew I was going to miss them.

This was a great story! I loved the banter between Miranda and Hank. I enjoy reading this story by this author. I love the wedding season series.
Miranda and Hank work for the same university. They are at a conference in Las Vegas. This is where their relationship starts to change. Before this conference, they had an interesting banter. While out one night, they discover some things about each other. They also decided to get married by Elvis. What will they do once they get back home?

Miranda and Hank have been at odds with each other for the last three years. While at a conference in Vegas they end up drunk and they get married. Will these two finally realize that there is so much more between them than the bitterness and hate? Or will they run from each other? Great read and I highly recommend it!

I enjoyed this fun quick read! The story is an enemies to so much more and accidentally married story. It's a delightful addition to the "Wedding Season" series. It's a stand alone story by a member of the Flirt Club. Miranda and Hank are great! I love the story and the characters. It really sucks you in and keeps you hooked until the very end. I love the dialogue, drama and development of the story.
Drinking definitely lowers resistant and in this enemy to lovers story drinking helped them both see what they were missing. She missed that something in her past had blinded her to what could be her future and he saw that there was a reason she was so defensive. Sometimes arguments can lead to romance. Loved this pint size story. It was full of great characters and I can’t wait to read about his best friend. Keep up the good work.
I really enjoyed this. Frenemies to lovers. Not usually my thing but this was well written and very sweet. I loved how they both circled each other throughout their lives thinking it was hate when really they were in love and just didn’t realise. I liked how they took the time to talk things through and to see how they could make things work for them.
I loved Hank and Miranda's story. The characters and plot were well written and engaging. A great push and pull, enemies to lovers read. This was a fast paced and sweet story with all the feels - perfect for an afternoon escape. You won't want to miss this or any of the other Wedding Season Series books.

Miranda and Hank hate each other but me thinks the lady doth protest too much! Fun, flirty, passionate story of two people who act like they hate each other but don't, a drunken night in Vegas that ends in marriage and how they deal with it in the morning. Loved it!

I enjoyed this enemys to lovers short story about Miranda and Hank. It is well written and the story is a moment in time with these caracters, although we get some short glimts into their pasts as well. I wish the ending was a little lese abroupt, but all in all a good short story.

This had the potential to be so much more. I really liked the premise but it lacked the substance I wanted. The enemy aspect to instant love didn't ring authentic because there was no transition or build up to get to that point.
I appreciate the effort of the author but this was not the book for me.
a wonderful book to read .. I’ve enjoyed the series so far. the main characters are well described and the story to these these simple ways .. it was fun and full of humor .from me therefore 5 stars.

This is a super read I really enjoyed it and would recommend it. This is Hank and Miranda's story I really liked these two and the banter and bickering between them had me laughing out loud. A good enjoyable read.
4 1/2 I want more of these two. A complex hate filled work relationship takes a dramatic turn. The storyline was brilliantly depicted. The characters have intense chemistry. I throughly enjoyed and recommend.
