Shows how to analyze body type and select an exercise regimen from the methods available at gyms and health clubs, and outlines a program of resistance and aerobic exercises
Terrific book (in its time--no doubt we've had advances in the science of working out since then). Inspirational photos of men who had successfully worked out, at a time when man-as-sex-object was kind of a new deal, provided extra motivation. I have fond memories of this one!
Ok this is supposed to be about fitness but to Gay Man like me, it is like saying You got Playboy because of the articles. It was about the photos darling. All about the men. In the early 80s this was my go to worship book. Loved it then. Love it now.
I originally bought this book because of the terrible pictures of men dressed in skimpy 80's attire. The text is actually very informative and educating. The pictures are just horrible though.
