To cheat with your brother's girlfriend, whom he has been dating for several years and on top of that he's your twin brother???? whom you're suppose to be close too. Alex was a pig and it sicken me snowball his other brothers could think about was how Alex feels bad..boo hoo...well Alex is an a$$.....and will always be an a$$...for him to treat someone he's suppose to love like he did sicken me, that was his twin brother..4 goodness sakes.....this book was sad because if your family felt it was all right for your brother to screw you like he did, then you need to find someone else to watch your back..because I can gar-n-tee there will be done more backstabbing coming your way

I enjoyed The Perfect Boss so I was looking forward to reading this one. However, this one didn't work out for me. Angelo was too dumb for me and I never really came to like either him or Rachel. I was happy that they got their HEA in the end. It just wasn't a enough for me though.

I Hesitate to Give This 2 Stars...

This book is just as poorly written as the first one...misspellings...extraneous words in the sentences...sentences that just don't make sense...inconsistencies...unlikeable characters...

But the story wasn't as outright awful as the first one.

Angelo is an effing idiot. His girlfriend is cheating on him. He gets a picture of his girl, Mandy, kissing someone else. She says "It's not me," and he lets it go. He talks to his tech-genius-brother, Wesley, about it and...like any good brother...he looks into it. Right around the time Wesley had some proof of her cheating, Angelo just happens to see a text message on Mandy's phone from someone calling her sexy and taking about seeing her in her sexy underwear. She actually tells him that it was a female friend...that she had had plans to hang out with her girlfriends that night and that they were going to model sexy underwear for each other. He bought that?! REALLY? And on top of that, he yells at Wesley about checking into Mandy, says Wesley is accusing her of cheating, and hangs up on him.

Angelo was the biggest a$$h0le ever! He chose to ignore all of the glaring neon signs that pointed to his girlfriend cheating, then he blames everybody else for not telling him.

Are you effin kidding me?!

As far as I was concerned, he got what he deserved. He was an ass; he was totally unlikeable; I didn't care about what happened to him.

The kicker here is WHO Mandy was cheating with! I won't tell you because it would spoil the story...but it was un-effin-believable...and totally un-effin-acceptable! The way people kept making excuses for "the other man" and wanting Angelo to forgive him? Bull...shirt! (And no, that wasn't auto-correct fixing my cuss words.)

Rachel was the only sort-of likeable character. The Smith Brothers seem to be OK as long as they aren't the main make character in the story, so most of them were somewhat likeable. (Notice I said "most." )

And speaking of inconsistencies, at least in the series...Brad got married in the first book...and had an infant daughter. Where is Brad's family in this book?

With a likeable main female lead and a marginally better story, this probably rates about 1.5 stars...but since I can't give halves...

The book would have been good but there were so many errors that you had to read some of the sentences over to get the true meaning. Even wrong names of some of the characters at times. I feel sure this was put into print by dictation but you really need an editor. It was incredibly sloppy. If I was an author I wouldn’t want my book to be presented like this.

OMG...I don't like writing reviews, but this Series is horrible. It took a whole lot to finish the first book (The Perfect Boss) with the first brother Brad. After reading the first couple of pages I knew this book was going to be like the first. The male characters are such wusses, it's painful to read the words. I ALWAYS finish my reads, but I just couldn't get pass the 4th chapter. Believe me, I really tried. The authors or publishers, whoever, needs to get better proof readers or Beta readers to fix the spelling and grammar in these books. Sorry to say, but if I was able to, this book would probably only get a half star. Thank goodness this was a Unlimited Kindle book and I didn't need to pay for it!

Grammar

Some of your grammar needs serious updating. E.G. "Me and Alex are OK now". It should be " Alex and I are OK now".

This story is about Rachel and Angelo, but it also involves Angelo’s twin brother Alex. It starts off with Angelo and his drama of a girlfriend which is cheating on him with Alex. Rachel is in love with Angelo and tried to send him pics of his girlfriend cheating on him, because she has known for a while of the cheating, but the girlfriend is great at covering up or making things up. The story takes off when Angelo and his girlfriend, Mandy, break up and he starts to date Rachel. As Rachel is the drummer in the band that Alex sings in, she knows that eventually Mandy is going to get caught there. Well it happens and drama continues, this played out more like young teens than adults, but it was entertaining.

Overall, it is a good read, it does have a happy ending but what made the book was the drama.

I liked this story but there was so much about cheating. Angelo has been with Mandy for a few years but he was sent a picture of Mandy kissing someone else he confronts her about it but she just denies it and he believes her, really even when the proof is in his hands. Rachel is in a rock band with Angelo’s twin brother Alex she has had a crush on Angelo for a long time but she never did anything about it because he was already in a relationship, but Angelo ends it with Mandy after all she is seeing both brothers and he goes with Rachel but because of Angelo’s insecurities about cheating he doesn’t make it easy for Rachel. 4 and a half ⭐️.

Oh my word, what an emotional story. Angelo Smith is such a nice guy but to think his girlfriend Mandy is cheating on him is a no no. He does have doubts but then to find out it is his twin Alex is the other man is devastating. It made me tear up for both Angelo and for Alex but for different reasons. The only light here is Rachel, drummer in Alex’s rock band. She has always had a crush on him but he doesn’t know. It was good to see their relationship develop later on but there are still secrets to be revealed. Great story, getting to know all the brothers and can’t wait to read more

This was an interesting read. It focused quite a bit on cheating. Angelo’s girlfriend Mandy has been cheating on him a long time but even when given proof he accepts her excuses. As time goes on he can’t help but notice things have changed. Rather than break things off with her then he goes out and does a bit of messing around as well.

This story focuses on a very messy situation with lots of drama. So if that’s what you’re looking for you won’t be disappointed.

This book was amazing even through all the ups and downs that Angelo and Rachel went through. When I read it I just wanted them to push them toward each other so they would be able to be together but I am kind of glad that they went through their ups and downs so they could come out stronger than ever. They were amazing characters and I loved going on the journey with them

Angelo finds out that his girlfriend is cheating on him, doesn’t believe it at first. Rachel is in a band with Angelo’s brother and has a crush on him. When they begin spending time together, sparks begin to fly. Fast-paced steamy read with tons of drama. Rachel and Angelo are great characters and have steamy chemistry. An entertaining read.

Angelo and Mandy are together but she's cheating on him with his twin brother Alex. Rachel's in a band with Alex and is in love with Angelo. What a tangled web of cheating and love that had me turning the pages to find out who ended up with who. Steamy scenes and some twists and turns make this an entertaining read. Good story - bad editing

This was an interesting read but I was disappointed with the grammar usage and spelling errors. The use of "I" and "me" as well as other pronouns incorrectly was distracting. I assigned stars based on the story line, not the mechanics.

The since of family in the book is great regardless if the issue always talk it through. I read this in a day it was great didn't want to put it down. Alex goes through alot and he relies in family and friends to help him through.

Now this book in the series was much better. I loved the sassiness of our heroine and how they took time to heal. I still don’t know how I feel about Alex...time will tell.
