The Seraph's Path

Rate this book
Life doesn't go in a straight line. For Dyrk, a young man just trying to live an ordinary life, this is painfully obvious. Whether it is his own losses, or the injuries and tragedies of the men and women he meets, he sees that suffering leaves indelible marks upon every soul. As evil Seraphs seek to destroy him and his friends, against whom spears and swords alone cannot hope to prevail, he discovers whether his past wounds help or hinder his efforts to find his place in the world.

As a long-time reader in this genre, my standards are quite high, and The Seraph's Path delivered against every expectation. The pacing and story are really strong, and the characters are interesting and compelling. I'm excited to read the next installment in this series.
