Líška a Vlk sú nerozluční priatelia. Spolu behajú, plávajú v jazere, pozorujú hviezdy a obdivujú zázraky sveta. Až dovtedy, kým Vlk jedného dňa neodíde navždy preč...
Nádherná obrázková kniha s precíteným príbehom o priateľstve a strate a o tom, ako ju prekonať.

Beautiful, colorful drawings are in this book. Also loved the story the writer was trying to tell. A good addition for children to learn about the loss of a friend.
Knihu som si prešla už asi päťkrát. A stále tam objavím niečo nové.
A slightly surreal look at grief. Fox and Wolf are friends, but when Wolf dies (becomes starlight) Fox searches for him. Fox remembers Wolf's last message, and remembers the time they spent together.
Stunning picture book about grief and learning to accept that death is part of life. Absolutely love the illustrations and I totally felt all the emotions poor little fox was feeling when he realised his best friend Wolf was not coming back. Beautiful
A really lovely story! Absolutely loved it. It is about the friendship between a fox and a wolf but after a great day together the wolf says he will be a star tonight. Fox has to try and deal with his emotions as he cant find his friend wolf. He soon understands what he meant about being a star so howls at the sky for him to come back. There is a lovely moment where the fox takes the sky and hugs it as a blanket for comfort. His thoughts turn to the wolf and he starts to remember the great times they shared together and although he isn't here anymore, fox will always remember the happy memories. Really nice way to understand and try to cope with the loss of a loved one. With beautiful illustrations.
A brilliantly told tale about loss and grief. You cannot change the past, you can only remember it. In the darkest of times, you have to remember the good times and not focus on what you’ve lost.
Amazing book! The best by the author. This was the first book I came across from this author, it’s one of my favourite books. Very impressed with it.
The art work is brilliant. Really enjoy all the colours. The concept and design of each page work so well. I love a two page spread, and there’s plenty done here. Well laid out. Not overbearing and very easy to read
This is one of the most gorgeous children’s picture books I’ve seen. The illustrations are beautiful and the story is incredibly sweet and touching. It deals with death, grief and friendship in a lovely way that is hard to find in other picture books. These concepts are important for children to understand and this little story could make a child (or an adult) feel a little less alone in their grief.
Waiting for Wolf is a moving and heart-felt tale of friendship and grief.
Fox and Wolf spend a glorious day together. As the sun shone, they played by the lake, they swam, and they laughed and talked. It was the most beautiful of days and as the stars sparkled later that evening the two friends sat together and enjoyed the beauty of the world. But the next day Wolf was nowhere to be found…
This is a story that is both beautiful and sad in equal measure. Fox and Wolf share the highs of friendship and making wonderful memories together and Fox experiences the heartache and grief of losing a dear friend.
The book is deep and meaningful. The joy the two friends share at the beginning of the story as they play together and sit together is a thing of beauty and then the comes the deep and meaningful conversation. At the end of the day, Wolf asks Fox to remember this day forever and as they sit under a starlit sky, Wolf tells Fox that, “Tomorrow I will be straight.” Fox does not really understand what is meant by this and spends the whole of the next day searching for Wolf who is nowhere to be found. At night, as Fox sits down by the lake under the same starlit sky the most beautiful of events unfold. Fox remembers Wolf’s softly spoken words from the night before and a moment of clarity is experienced and Fox knows exactly where Wolf will be.
I really feel Fox’s pain at losing Wolf but there is a real uplifting moment when Fox is wrapped in the starry blanket and as the tears roll down her face she knows that she must enjoy life, because as Wolf says, “Life really is beautiful.”
The illustrations that accompany the text are full of warmth and heart. Dieckmann beautifully illustrates happiness, raw emotions, grief and the prospect of hope.
The message in the book, enjoy life, remember the good times and cherish the memories. A big, beautiful hug of a book that will bring comfort and solace to readers young and old when a loved one dies.
If there's one book you want to read, this is the one! It tore my fucking heart appart, in the best way possible. I read it, I bought it, I cried, and I read it again.
This is the story of Wolf and Fox, they are the bestest friends ever and spend splendid days at the lake and in the mountains. But one day, Wold tells Fox, he will be in the stars soon. The next day, Wolf is nowhere to be found. It takes a long time for Fox to realize that he's dead and Fox just won't stop crying. Until he realises Wolf is in the stars and most importantly, in his heart and memories. And life is beautiful again beacause Wolf lives on in Fox's memory.
It's a book about death, I know, most parents won't deal with it, but it is SO IMPORTANT. And it's well done, well written, sweet, poetic, lyrical, dream like. It's the best pictures book I've read about death. It's heartbreaking but lovely and hopeful. Trust me on this one. It's even better than the illustrations are beyond gorgeous. Sometimes, I just spend some time staring at it. It's colorful, geometrical but very natural. You feel the beauty of nature and the elements in each page. It's incredible.
This book is absolutely stunning, and hits you like a freight train.
We were looking for resources to help our daughter understand loss after the untimely passing of her cat, and this book helps with the concept of loss.
Special mention has to be given to the illustrations. This is one book we'll be keeping onto forever. It's one of those books that is much more than "just a children's book"
I picked this book up because of the beautiful illustrations. I had no idea what the story was about. The illustrations - just amazing, all the textured mountains and magical starry skies. Then I decided to actually read the story. The beginning was a story about two friends, a wolf and a Fox, having a great time together, swimming and laughing. But then I got to the Page 8… never ever has a book got me crying so fast. I just sobbed reading the rest of the story. The wolf never came back.
If this doesn't move your heart in any way then ¬_¬ I thought this book was fantastic at delivering the topic of grief and losing a loved one! It certainly ends in a positive note and in a strange way makes your heart feels lighter!
Utterly sensitive, beautifully written, and accompanied by amazing illustrations. This book is perfect to introduce such heartbreaking issue to children in a sweet way, showing how important it is to cherish every moment of life.
Pár stránok a pár viet ... a odpálilo mi dekel. Je to silné, ak ju budete čítať deťom. ☺️ Pre deti 3+
A beutiful book about grief, but unfortunately it focuses on the idea that your memories of the person is what makes it easier to get through grief, but for some people, it can actually be more traumatising.
Liigutav lugu jutustab kaotusest, leinast, igatsusest, kus ainult aeg ja mõtted annavad arutust. Tõde, et mälestustesse jääb palju ühist, ilusat, rõõmsat, mida saab endaga igal pool kaasas kanda. Ehk tõesti on kirkaim täht taevas just see, kellest puudust tunned... https://pilleraamatujakassiga.blogspo...
