I thought we had won, that the worlds were safe. Then I had one final vision, and I saw the truth. The Abhorrent, the eldritch, evil force behind Pestilence, was undefeated and still intent on devouring the light of everything good.
I saw that I would fail, everyone I loved would die, and without us the worlds would crumble, even the gods unable to stand against the Abhorrent.
This left me with one question:
How does one go about changing the future?
They tell me the Abhorrent is immortal.
As far as I’m concerned, that’s just a slight inconvenience.
Gods of Ash and Amber is the fourth and final book in a dark and deliciously violent adventure series that combines science fiction, fantasy, and game elements. You'll love Gods of Ash and Amber because of the electrifying action, flawed characters, and kick-ass heroine.

Azalea Ellis loves to bend the world to her will. Maybe that's why she likes writing books. Creating worlds and people and then sending them through every ordeal imaginable might even give her some kind of sick thrill. Who knows? Azalea is also an artist, so perhaps she just likes taking things from her head and bringing them to life. Because of her artistic background, she's lucky enough to also be able to do all of her own book covers, and does freelance illustration when she feels like it. She's fascinated by almost everything, and wishes she could live to be a thousand, so she would have time to learn and do everything she wants.
The Seeds of Chaos series was such an exciting ride. I loved that Eve wasn't alone through her trials by having the Seal of Nine around to work with. It's heartwarming for me to see that Gregor and Kris are with her... 'cause those kiddos need their family, and she's a main part of that.
I really enjoyed reading these books, and the ending... *chef's kiss*
I loved this series from the first chapter of the first book, and unlike so many other series, seeds of chaos never stopped being enjoyable. These are the best books ive read in years, and im actually very sad to see the series end. I really hope that the author will return to Eve Redding and this universe soon!
They've taken down Pestilence, only to be notified that he was only the first of nine, the ninth being the Abhorrent, the being behind it all.
The last book in the series, has the group gathering resources, trying to learn everything they can about this enemy and his various avatars. Although the focus is primarily on Eve, we see through her eyes how the others are being affected by the constant battle. Each rises to the occasion, even as death and worse weigh down upon them.
Overall, this was a very satisfying conclusion to a very good saga. Without a lot of tropes that fantasy fiction, specifically with female protagonists, often falls into. (No hero coming in to save the main character, no instalove, no heaving bosoms and bare chested heroes. Just a good story.) Thank you Azalea Ellis.
I enjoyed all of the previous books, but when I started this one... I thought that creating eight more avatars before facing The Abhorant was a bit much to swallow. I immediately thought that I would have to read eight more books and, while I really enjoyed the characters, I did not look forward to spending that much time waiting for each book to come out.
Then I realized that all eight avatars and The Abhorant were going to be killed before the end of this book... and I was immediately disappointed in both the author and the editor. I felt that short-cuts/sacrifices were made in order to end the series while the iron was hot.
In the end, I still enjoyed the series and wish that my Torliam X Eve ship had sailed. Lol.

When I read the first book in this series I was hooked, the characters were embellished upon just so thoroughly right, their personalities complemented each other perfectly, their triumphs and heartbreaks described in a way that you personally celebrated and cried with them, you will feel their pain and rejoice when they do. Anyone who wants to read an exceptional sci-fi fantasy this is it.
This is the most advanced magical sci-fi novel, I have ever read. Yeah, I know there are many novels with very good action, magic, and science combination, but this , it's on another level entirely. No overpowered main character. Nothing like luck or obvious coincidence. It's just pure real life like sci-fi fiction.
I ate this series up. A world you can get lost in and I long to return too. Maybe, Birch could get his own story about finding another of his kind, simply because I long for him to not be the last of his kind.
Decent enough story, but it wasn't for me. I think it got bogged down in details, instead of telling an interesting story. While I like details in most cases, this story just didn't suit my tastes. I don't think I'll be continuing with this series.
The entire series keeps you reading and wanting more. A moment or two where the story lags but that could of just been my eagerness to get to the next line. I truly didn't want it to end
Great story overall and a good ending for the story as a whole. I really love the way Azalea writes and I'm so glad I finished this series. I'm such a fan of hers and it was nice to read more of her writing. I could see a lot of the basis of her next series in this book, so that was fun to see.
