This book is emotional. I am glad the heroine is strong amd the hero is supportive.
The heroines journey to become a strong woman is admirable but few times her insecurities were annoying. I understand that she was abused but it was just a bit irritating how she felt she didn't had much value.
The plot twist was unexpected and added more depth to the story. I would have enjoyed more if there were more romantic scenes and development between the protagonists. Nonetheless, it was enjoyable.

This was not exactly my favourite mafia romance but still I loved the emotion of Benicio and Nicola.
I could very well feel the agony of Benny when he caught Nicci betraying him.
I could feel the fear of Nicci when she knew she has been kidnapped and could be raped.
So the book was full of emotions.
There were some parts which I just quickly went through instead of savouring each and every word, that's because they were kinda boring or the repeatation of the lines/situations used in first 2 books.

This was a dark & gritty second chance mafia romance, so if this is up your alley then be ready to indulge and get lost in Benicio (Benny) & Nicola's story.
All she ever wanted was her freedom but when she betrays the man that was supposed to save her Nicola knows her chance at freedom will be in jeopardy. She never thought she would fall in love with Benny because she made sure she had the walls around her heart locked under key but he broke them down. She never stood a chance.
Benny was up and coming in the famiglia but when he saw Nicola he knew he had to have her. He wasn't supposed to fall for her but nothing in life is certain. I must say that I wanted to throat punch Benny so many times I lost count. I really wasn't sure if he would be able to forgive her and give her the one thing she's been wanting-FREEDOM!! The chemistry between them was H-O-T and I got burned a couple of times.
Be prepared to find out some of the secrets that have been buried and some that have been right in front of you. Benicio Martinelli is a hard man to like when you first start to read Becoming his Possession. Benicio is walking into the Ricci compound to take over and has to become the Boss right off the bat. But that isn't what makes him hard. The woman that lives there and is the Principessa of the house is what makes him hard.
Nicola has been under her father's thumb her whole life. She has been used and abused and the only light in that tunnel was Benicio. But when she betrayed him that tunnel closed quickly. Becoming His Possession is the third installment of the Zanetti Famiglia series by Hayley Faiman.
Will I ever start reading a book by this author and not want to immediately throat punch the hero? Doubtful! Oh Benny, he pushed my buttons with his actions and words against Nicola. For a smart man he went charging in with assumptions not bothering to get facts from Nicola. The history with her father, he should have known nothing is what it seems. But you could see bits and pieces of his confusion and his heart to have hope that he would wake up and see her for the strong woman she is.
Nicola has been sorely abused by the men in her life. Men that should have been loving and protecting her. All of her life she has been used in some way or another as a pawn. I felt that Benny was so consumed by lust for her he didn't see the actual woman. Only when his feelings start to deepen, is when he starts really seeing Nicola.
This book had a phenomenal storyline that kept you consumed by intense emotions from the workings of the famiglia to the scorching scenes between Benny and Nicola. And even though I wanted to throat punch Benny, I fell in love with his alpha Italian butt! This bad boy won me over.

I enjoyed the push/pull between this couple. Their world is a dark, sometimes ugly place and there's never been something so good for them. As they begin to spend more time together, things are revealed, rules are changed and lives are better. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for what was next! I couldn't read this book fast enough and can't recommend it enough! Be sure to grab your copy!

OK wow this has to be my favorite in the Zanetti series loved everything about it , this also made me want to go back to the first book and make the heroines dad and brother suffer even more . My heart really broke for the heroine she just kept getting betrayed by people that she thought she could count on the only one that was there is the hero even though he tries really hard to hate her he just can't . I love that we get to see more on Gavino being a BOSS and the epilogue was amazing can't wait to read more in this series and by the author she has to one of my favorites .

This was absolutely uninteresting. So rather than feel empathy for Nicola who was saddled with a monster for a father, you treat her like trash. You consider her less than when her father starting at age 8 selling her to men for profit? That makes you Benecio one of the most unsexy least desirable characters I’ve read about. I have zero interest in finishing this.

This was a really awesome story, the story started off with a bang and continued non-stop to the very end. The story was full of intrigue and romance and a lot of blood and gore, and the story had a really great cast of characters.
Benico was one of those characters that gave you a bit of whiplash as one minute he was about hate and revenge and the next he is kind and loving but, when it comes to business and the Famiglia he is as dangerous as they come. I loved the fact that Benico was willing to make changes about how he is choosing to run his new family. I could not help but, being drawn to him, that man was a total alpha and dominate and sexy as sin.
"We just loved him !"
Nicola was my favorite character, we loved her from the onset of the story, she was one strong female even though she didn't believe that all the time she was to survive her brother and father and her life she was born into. As the story progressed we really saw what she was made of and we loved that she took back some kind of control of her life. Nicola totally rocked !
The chemistry that Nicola and Benico was hotter than hell, these two were explosive together. The sex scenes between these two hotter than hell.
Overall, this was one hot read. We are really loving this series, the characters a great and are easy to love and connect with, the story kept you glued to the pages the entire time. As always, we really enjoyed this newest, and we are so looking forward to our next read in this ongoing series.

So this is the first book by this author, and I was completely addicted within the first few pages of chapter one.
This was dark, raw, gritty, with twists and turns all the way through the book, yet it still held that romance, passion, and lust I crave so much in this genre. Mixing it all together with this story and you are left with an amazing, outstanding, compelling story that had me hooked from the beginning.
Nicola and Benicio were something. They were intense to say least. These two have a history and it's not the best one but when they are put in a situation together and bought together again. So many truths start to come out. But will these two become to move past all the lies, betrayal and hurt and see they are meant for each other? Or will it be impossible to understand everything that's happened has been out of Nicola's control but in her fathers?
This book is full of lies, betrayal, passion, heat and raw emotion and dark twists and turns. It helped me on my toes all the way through and as much as I'd love to dive in deeper. I believe this truly needs to be experienced, but I will say this is one of my favorite enemies to lovers/second chance romances to date and I am eager to see what else this author has to offer because this was brilliant.

If your looking for a second-chance romance combined with an enemies to lovers then this is for you. Benny and Nicci fell for each other years ago but their arrangement started on a lie and ended badly with betrayal. I understand how Benny could hate Nicci but once he heard what happened and knew what kind of man her dad was I feel like he shouldn’t have been so angry. It took him too long in my mind to get over it. Overall this was a great mafia romance with some very hot sex scenes!

This is the first time I’ve read this author and even though this is part of a series I had no problem following it and I definitely will reading more from this author in the very near future. I love dark stories and add in the mafia aspect and I was hooked on Benny and Nicci. I adored Nicci and enjoyed seeing her finally call her own shots and Benny was the hero you will love to hate but can’t resist.

The book was well written and entertaining even if at times frustrating. It has a considerable amount of death and violence involving both main characters. Nikki is the victim of sexual assault by numerous men from the age of 8. She is 18 when the story begins. If you are okay with that then read on.
Nikki's father and brother are killed and Benicio is the Boss that takes over the Ricci crime family aka Nikki under the Zanetti Family.
I did not connect with Benicio's character initially, with his hot and cold behavior towards Nikki and verbal demeaning assaults in his lust for vengeance and revenge until halfway through the story. He eventually redeems himself once he gets the back story as to why Nikki betrayed him . It took too long for him to come around. Nikki has been a victim of child abuse since the age of 8 with her father selling her to over 15 men for sex, Benicio being one of them. Her character suffered manipulation, mental and physically abused by her father and brother. Benicio and Nikki's relationship develops into a very sexual one involving BDSM. Their attraction for one another sizzles off the pages and evolves into a love story.
Nikki follows Benicio into the dark willingly as more and more people are killed and more is unraveled about her family and childhood. Nikki proves to be very smart and very savvy when it comes to unraveling her father's business which she shares with Benicio. Sadly, she is still a young woman who suffers from self-worth and self-doubt throughout the novel. Benicio's expression of undying love and devotion for Nikki eventually frees her from her self-doubt and by book's end she is evolving into the accomplished woman she is meant to be.
Nikki and Benicio get their well deserved HEA.

Nicola, her mother was murdered by her father when she was young. Then her father trafficked her from 8 to 18 to men. She was trapped in a horrific existence and when she met Benecio she thought maybe he was different.

I enjoyed both characters. The author did a good job weaving a credible story.

Benicio is taking over a family when he kills the father of his ex wife Nicola. She has always been a playing to her father and she knows more than what she lets on. Benny is the only man she ever loved but she was trying to help out her father and she walked away. When Benny takes over her family’s mansion and her life she knows that she has to show him that’s it’s only been him. No one else ever and as Benny learns about Nicola life and how much she has had to go through to still be standing. It’s a lot of hot and cold mix emotions but in the end they try to find peace for each other. Great book.

One of my favorite mafia reads this year. I absolutely love the explosive relationship between Benicio and Niccola and I now find myself in a book hangover because I want more of them!
I enjoyed that character development for both of these strong willed characters. They helped each other see what they themselves could not and it made them stronger for one another, and as a power couple. I really wish there was more to their story but I guess I’ll have to keep reading the series to see what other amazing couples Hayley comes up with!

I loved Benny and Nicci’s story. When she was forced by her father to betray him two years prior it hurt her and made Benny seek revenge. There’s a very fine line between love and hate, and Benny walked it with how he felt for her. I loved both characters right from the start, I didn’t like (well I kinda did for the drama, lol) the certain scene with Benny getting a bj from a w*ore in the house he and Nicci lived in. But that was the only thing this man did. He was truly in love with Nicci and only wanted her.

It's lovely to be back with the addictive Zanetti Famiglia and Benny and Nicolas story, they say love and hate are closely linked and that is definitely the case with these too, it was good to see Nicola blossom into a kick a** women who didn't need anyone to save her. In the beginning i thought Benny was awful to her but in the end they are perfect for each other , I'm looking forward to the future books I wonder who's next .....😍😍

Wow, this was so good. The chemistry between them was off the charts. I felt so bad for Nicola she’s a tuff Cookie and very strong. I liked how she has grown with the love that Benny finally relented and realized to let go of the past and move forward. These books are so awesome. I can not wait for more

Ok
This story was ok. There was a lot murder & gore but that doesn’t necessarily equal mafia, and I think that’s what the author was hoping. The storylines were too easily anticipated and there was absolutely no conflict or climax. It just kinda rolls along. Not horrible but I’m not interested in reading any more from this author.

Becoming his Possession is the third installment to the Zanetti Familglia series. This story is about Benicio and Nicola. This was my favorite of the series. It’s filled with so many emotions and like the rest of them, it has a dark side. Again a wonderful series and looking forward to more.

Family members are not always protective
A woman in her father aren't loving. He hurt her and use her as a pawn with men. She found love and betrayed that love. Now he back her father death and her brother definitely died from her ex boyfriend. Now, he back for revenge against her.

The H Dad would let men pay for services of her. The H becomes boss after h's dad is killed. I liked how Nic saved herself after she was kidnapped. She had to bite a mans tongue off and stab a woman. You could tell that the H really loved her. He supported her and lifted her up allowing her to lead in the mafia world. The sex scenes were great.

Benicio and Nicola romance had a good rocky start.
I loved how this book is written. It had dirty sex, violence and both a strong woman that could handle an very Alpha man. Hayley did a fabulous job with this story. I wish we were able to give more than 5 stars.

Benicio!
This is the third installment in the gritty series and it's just as good as the other ones. Benny's has been named head of the Ricci family and that also means he is in charge of Nicci. Things get twisted as they always do before they can find their HEA. Great read!

OMG!!
I could not put this book down! I loved everything about it, Benny and Nicci loved them! Hayley really knows how to keep the story flowing and the action, romance and suspense. I can't wait for more!

Best so far
Loved it it's the 3rd book in the series and I always think hayley Faiman books only get better has they grow nicci and benny s story has a mix of everything but they come through it together I dont want to give it away but read in order and enjoy

💞 Benny and Nicola HOT
The Zanetti series OUTSTANDING! You can NOT miss out. May have to go back but was unsure how Nicola betray Benny the man she loved. But she was able to find her way back. Need to read. Will not be disappointed.

I love Benny!!!
So I can continue to say that nobody writes mafia stories like Hayley. The best part of this book was that you couldnt figure out who to trust. I liked Q, then hated Q. I liked Costa, then hated Costa. It was unpredictable and I loved it.
