The Warm-Hearted Alpha Boss and The Curvy Christmas Orphan
Gabe: They call me "Nutcracker" behind my back. It doesn't bother me. Why apologize for running a tight ship? My steely armour keeps my employees in line. Well, most employees. There's only one person who can crack my facade wide open, Avery Bailey. Not only is Avery a model employee, she's the most stunning woman I’ve ever seen. And I can’t keep my eyes off her soft, curvy frame. Ever since Thanksgiving, she’s had a serious case of the holiday blues. I can’t stand to see her so sad at Christmas. So, I take matters into my own hands, to put that glorious smile back on her sweet face. I just hope this plan doesn't backfire. Avery Baily is the only thing I want this year for Christmas. And I'll do whatever it takes to make sure she's mine forever.
Avery: The holidays aren’t exactly my favorite time of year. All of my Christmas traditions passed away with my parents. With nothing but a dark, empty apartment to go home to, I figured I’d just work my way through the New Year. But my hulking, gorgeous boss, Gabe has other plans. We’ve been hardcore eyeing each other for the past year. An eventual coffee date? That I expected. But when pretty much demands I go home with him for Christmas… I’m not sure I’m ready for that. My feelings for him run deeper than I care to admit. Screwing this up would mean that my Christmas wish will never come true. And I don't need another reason to hate the same holiday that used to be my favorite.

This book was well written. I've been reading a few short romances trying to complete my challenge before the year runs out and can say this is the best so far. I usually dislike short stories because I feel there's not enough time before the characters fall in love you know, it always seems rushed. But here... Well done Flora, you have the markings of a fantastic writer. You made sure the characters had history and you also didn't rush the story but rather concluded nicely in your epilogue. I will be reading more of your books.
A sweet office romance on holiday season. Sweet and swoon. Both attracted since they met but decided to not pursue office romance. One holiday blues and streak of tears, all of those changes. Sweet story on two lonely people.
This was a pretty good book. It wasn’t typical romance. It had a good plot that I fell into and some steam. It was a great read to start December off with and I have to read more of her books.
Such a sweet Christmas story. I enjoyed the quick read. Such relatable characters makes me enjoy all Madison's books. Over the top and happily ever after.
