Enjoyable conclusion to a cozy mystery series featuring Ivy Towers the owner of Bygone Bookstore which belonged to her Great-Aunt Bitty. Ivy has a "nose for mystery" and when her wedding planner is murdered, she and her fiance, Sheriff Amos Parker, put their heads together to catch the culprit. I wonder if Ivy will ever learn to think first before she acts as she often loses her temper and needs to think before she speaks.

Another nice addition to the Ivy Towers series. I liked this one a little more than the previous two because I found it a little easier to see the evidence and guess the ending, which I appreciate in a mystery.

Once again, Nancy has made me love the people in Winter Break. I especially love Ruby and her diner. Love the colourful characters. This book had me laughing in several spots and caring for everyone like they're all part of a family. For some strange reason, I didn't like the ending of this book as much as the first. Maybe because I was very sad who committed the murder. I was most upset that Ina Mae was killed, too.

Ivy Towers is making plans for her up & coming wedding, and she has gotten Dela as a wedding planner. But when Dela is found dead in her car at Ivy's house things get awkward. This is another easy to read novel from an excellent author, who describes everything so very well.

Three mysteries to keep you guessing

This was my favorite of the series. Storyline is strong and supported by great characters. Meryl has a great way with descriptions and you can see and feel the story. Strong prayer message in this story. We all need to hear it more. Highly recommend this story.

Life in Winter Break Kansas with Miss Ivy Towers, soon to be Mrs. Amos Parker, is never dull. She is a devoted Christ follower but a high-spirited and feisty one! She loves her mysteries, book shop, small town life, Deputy Sheriff Amos, and most of all her Savior! The Red Bird burgers sound really good too! This was a light hearted cozy type mystery series and I enjoyed the reading!

This was a good, fun, murder mystery, and a quick easy read. I like this author's mysteries ... they are somewhat light, and descriptions of characters in the small town remind me of the interactions in Jan Karon's books.
