AT THE BUZZER

I knew I’d ruffle feathers, but the day I walked into Rockport High, I had no idea the cheap shots that were to follow.

You see, the Ballers and I have a history. They play basketball. I play basketball. But they hate that I play basketball as good as them. And the only thing they hate more than that, is me.

That’s right. I’m a girl, and I. Can. Play. Make no mistake about it.

The Ballers can do their worst, but I will earn a spot on the RHS boys’ team. This is my last resort to make a name for myself, and I can’t let them interfere—even if the so-called kings of the school have declared war against me.

*THE BALLERS OF ROCKPORT HIGH is a complete reverse harem bully romance series.

I think I’ve found my favourite basketball RH series

I’m blown away with my love for this series. I can’t believe I put it off for so long. This one is perfect if you’re new to the trope. Each relationship is individual and the book isn’t too x rated. I found myself liking the guys as individuals at different parts of this book and I was routing for Tessa throughout. Brilliant

I read these books in Kindle Unlimited but went back and bought the box set. It's totally worthwhile - I want these books forever because I've already re-read them several times and the bonus material made me teary with happiness.
I loved this three-book series. I don't read a lot of sports romance. It was the bully aspect that attracted me to this series, and the bully elements are strong. But what made this series a winner for me was the ferociously committed FMC, the unrelenting pace, and the surety of the author's writing. There was never a moment where I felt the story was inauthentic. I always felt Tessa's dedication to her sport. The basketball scenes kept my interest (not always the case with either sport or fight scenes) - they're just right in terms of detail and pace.
Highly recommended.

Decent

I feel like I’ve been so iffy on books lately, and this is another one to add in to that category. Being an athlete myself, I SO enjoyed the basketball aspect of this book. They way the author explains the need for the competition, the teamwork, etc, it really resonated with me and made me reminisce on my entire life of playing softball. There’s nothing like walking onto a field or court to play the game you love with people cheering your name. It IS hard to understand if you’ve never done it. It’s a rush, so watching her compete and play against the guys and still kick ass was amazing. But I wish it would have all been about proving herself, about working towards her goal, but honestly her inner dialogue made me sit back a couple of times and shake my head because it felt like she was doing it all just to be accepted by 5 guys who bullied her. Because she wanted to be “one of them”. 5 guys who acted like they hated her. Even though she did make them work for it in the second book, I do feel like she gave into them wayyyy to easily. She even had her best friend, a guy friend and her mom call her out on why she let them get away with the things they do to her, and she still puts up with it. I would have liked to see her have more of a backbone. Im just not too sure how I feel about our main character. This series wasn’t bad my any means so give it a shot if you want, but it isn’t going on my “to be read again and again and again” shelf either.

Nice read

Enjoyed the main character and the guys, of course after they redeemed themselves. Lots of bullying, fighting, hate, passion, and steamy scenes. A good read

WOOOW !! I started reading The Ballers of Rockport High to wait for Uppercut Princess ( that's a whole different review but go read it if you haven't!!) And I am so happy that I did. The sweat, blood, and tears Tessa put towards her basketball career, her relationship(s), and family made it one of the best reads I have read this year so far. The twists and mic drops that happen throughout the 3 books made my heart stop beating but the only thing that fixed it was to keep on reading. Definitely recommend reading there is just the right amount of sports, love, drama, and steamyness that you can want in a series!

The bonus epilogue!!!

Ahh! I’m crying. I had read and loved the trilogy prior to this box set being released so I downloaded it to read the bonus epilogue. EM, you blew me away! I sincerely hope that you will write at least one more novella or epilogue with the remaining draft outcomes and just how everything shakes out. I love all of these characters so very much and would read about them any time possible.

I love my Ballers! The new novella at the end adds more to the story that I was wanting, but hadn't hoped to get. I am still greedy, and want even more, but it was enough to satisfy the things I was missing. Tessa is such a strong character who fights so hard to accomplish all that she wants in her life and she is able to do that with her Ballers by her side. This is a great series and I am sad that it is over.

Great storyline with a deeper meaning.

This series is one of the better ones I’ve read from this author. The first book is definitely not as good as the next two, but when looking at the bigger picture, it’s the perfect set up to a great series.

There were some parts that didn’t add up for me such as Tessa saying at one point she couldn’t wait to spend the whole night with a certain boy when they had already done so once before. But these parts were so small that they didn’t negatively impact the book for me.

The majority of the books I’ve read lately were outlined from day to day and left no gaps in time such as “over the next few weeks”.. or something along those lines so it was an adjustment when this series didn’t outline every moment, but again, it wouldn’t dissuade me from reading this series.

I loved the connection Tessa had with each boy. It was like 4 mini series in one whole series. They each had their own insecurities and issues overcoming them.

The epilogue was EVERYTHING!!! Apparently it’s specific to this box set so I hope every single person who read the series before the box set came out is privy to it because it was literally the perfect culmination of the series.

I only wish I could have more of these characters!

THE BALLERS OF ROCKPORT HIGH is an amazing set of books. Tessa has big ambitions and she's not going to let the 5 Ballers from Rockport High stand in the way of her dreams... Just finished binge reading this series and I need more.  It was such an incredible balance between each of the 4 guys and Tessa, something that the RH books I've read in the past lacked.  This is a reverse harem so the lead female is involved with 4 guys, and there are bully scenarios as well.  Highly recommend this box set, which is available on Amazon, including kindle unlimited.

I love that the intimate scenes were not just thrown in every other page like so many books seem to do, and that it didn't turn into one big orgy between them.  The characters actually had time to really build something special and I appreciated having time to really bond with those characters, and seeing the relationship between Tessa and each guy grow...
I'm dying to know what the future looks like for them after college!  I think we need another book at least to cover that... please, please, please.

Holy Basketball!!

I absolutely fell in love with Tessa and The Ballers in this trilogy.
I love a good addicting sports romance.

Tessa lives and breathes basketball, she wants to play in the WNBL and she will do whatever it takes to do that even if it means she gets pushed around by the guys.
She has this mental strength that will bring her through all the crap and have her winning, and I can’t wait to see her really shine and best all these guys.

Hayes, Alec, Sloan and Ryan brought out so many emotions from loathing to love to hate to love again. I went one hell of a rollercoaster with Tessa and her guys and I loved every minuet of it.

That epilogue was everything and I wasn't ready to say goodbye to these guys.
I am hoping that Lake will eventually get a full length book of his own (not just the anthology) and we will see more of Tessa and The Ballers too.

I’m in love with the Ballers!!!

I love this series. I have previously read the first book but it’s been a while and then when I saw there was a box set, I thought this is the perfect way to read this series. I loved every minute of it. I was so thankful for the bonus epilogue. I was so not ready to say goodbye to these guys. I wanted to keep reading on forever. Lol. I was so excited to find out that there was an actual bonus epilogue at the ending. I loved it just as much as I love the books. I think I might reread the entire set.

GREAT bully RH series- a lot of fun!

This is a reread for me. I LOVED this series. Had a lot of fun with it, probably even more so the second time around. I still find it a little frustrating in the beginning because the reason for them bullying her never fully makes sense to me until you get to the very end of book 3. Despite that, I still really enjoy this series! Usually the final book in any RH series is not usually my favorite, but in this series, I feel like each book just gets better.

Love this series

This is one of my favorite series hands down. Since I'm not into basketball at all, that surprised me a lot. All the credit goes to the author for making this an easy series to read, even without the knowledge. The plot and characters are amazing and the development on point. The author made this series unputdownable and the extended epilogue in this box set was worth it. I could read about them all the time!

I have no words 🤯🤯🤯

This series is so powerful and has an incredible storyline with a powerful heroine and hot as sin men. I love the way Tessa works for what she wants no matter who is in her way! I know most people dont like bully romance but this story just shows life. That you should work for what you want and that no one can make you do anything you do want to. Please read this story! You will fall in love and become addicted to E. M. Moore's stories!

I loved it..

Reading this series really surprised me.. Because in the beginning I thought Tessa was going to be one of those girls that let the people around her walk all over her and that she was going to end up backing down, but no.. I really enjoyed reading this series and watching the characters grow stronger and fight to make their dreams come true, and the bullies become better people.. I am totally looking forward to reading more books by E.M. Moore..

I LOVED THIS SERIES SO MUCH! At first I was a little hesitant because I saw HS and thought it'd be very YA but holy hell this series shocked me. I was captivated from page 1 and literally went without sleep to finish it through. By the end I was in full on tears because I was so fucking happy for Tessa. If you are looking for a book that plays on the underdog winning, real life scenarios and finding love, this is the series for you.

Incredible

Loved this trilogy. Tessa is a bad a** boss and she will do anything to succeed and become the basketball player she knows she can be. The Ballers are in her way so it’s a fight till the bitter end. They start out as enemies then turn into her best friends, her allies and her lovers. But their journey isn’t easy. I fell in lobe with this book right from the start and can’t wait to read more from this author soon.

Great series!

As usual, another great series by EM Moore. I love her books! This one was a lil different for me considering I’ve never really read a sports series before. I do recommend this. I love how Tessa stuck to her dreams and goals and kicked butt! The Ballers were a bunch of buttholes but they fact that they had redemption made up for that. There are some twists that I wasn’t expecting. Love it when those are there’

This is a compilation of all three books in The Ballers Series plus a new 5 chapter extended epilogue. I love this entire series! It is a Bully Romance with a twist, as the heroine is fighting to play on the boys basketball team and the boys or " Ballers " on the team are trying to shut her out. I loved Tessa, the heroine, as she is strong and has a dignity about her that resonates throughout the series. And since this is also a RH Romance, we can't forget all the guys who she can't seem to get off her mind. The extended epilogue was fantastic too, but I still want more! If you want a Bully RH Romance that is a bit different and an excellent read, you will love this one! 5 Full Stars!
