Good, Intense read until the end. *** spoilers in end of review***
This book was an intense story from the beginning. I highly recommend reading Jokers prequel book to fully understand this book. Joker has not had an easy life nor has Daisy and together their brokenness is complete, They fit! This book has constant drama, violence, sexy times, cons with two great characters that was on the road to being a 4/5 star read then boom the end, wrapped up in one chapter and epilogue! Wth? I mean Digger has been a jerk and a first class b@$±@®¶ in Jokers life as long as he's known him fyi his whole life basically!!. *******spoilers******** don't continue reading****** Digger kills or sets Ace(jokers dad and MC president also a piece of $π°±€) up to be killed becoming the next MC president, has a hand in the beating and raping of Jokers women Desiree (read prequel) then he puts a hit out on Joker and shoots his kid?!?! And that's all wrapped up nice and neat in ONE CHAPTER, yes ONE and epilogue!!! Thoroughly disappointed in the ending! As much as I hate cliffhangers that would have been better to do then wham bam thank you man ending! At least I'd feel vindicated for Joker, getting to read how the con to get Digger worked and I'd enjoy reading his ending which was hopefully painful! But I'll never know bc I was cheated outta that part of this story. I mean Digger set this whole story in motion and his ending is a blip?!?! No just no, wrong on all good book etiquette!!
So what could have been a near perfect book that held my attention with action, drama and sexy times, it fell short due to being wrapped up lightening fast leaving a bad taste in my mouth for future books by this author. The ending is like the build up as a kid, the anticipation for Christmas morning and waking up to the Grinch who stole Christmas... No presents, food not even a decoration! 2.75 stars high deductions for the ending! ✌
***Addendum*** So apparently the next book in this series is how they take down Digger 🤷 Weird, IKR since book one ended the way it did but at least you can find out wth happens! ✌

Joker was VP of the Raiders MC. He was pulling one last job, so he can start a new life with his son. Daisy, she comes from a tragic past and her only means of survival is conning others. He meets this gorgeous woman who filps his whole life around. As it turns out, they are more alike than they thought. This is first in series of the Serpents MC Las Vegas series. This was freaking incredible. I loooove MC books. I seriously could not put this down. Great job!!

A lot going on
This was a little less biker for me. The book started with Joker, down in Miami, doing one last thing for his club in New York, so he could get out of the life. What he doesn't anticipate is meeting Daisy, a woman who is being groped by drunks. Trying to get away from the men is useless until Joker helps. This starts a steamy, passion filled, and unexpected change of events. Joker knows she's hiding something, and she doesn't trust Joker either. There are so many moving parts to this story. I liked both characters, as well as, their real friends and family. It just didn't feel entirely MC, and that was okay for the most part. I would recommend this book because it's more one on one, with who the person is.

Joker has to be one of my favorite MC characters. After losing his wife he is left to care for his son. With things falling apart within the MC he wants out and start over with his son. With Digger taking the reigns he is forced to do one final job for the MC to get a clean out.
Daisy also is tired of running on the wrong side of the law and wants to break away to earn an honest living. When her and Joker cross paths there is an instant attraction. When Joker comes to her rescue they are both caught in the crossfire of corruption and as web of lies. Together they have to find a way out of the mess they are in without getting themselves killed.
This book is so gripping and reads like a thriller. There are many "wth" moments that have turned this book into a total page turner. By the end of the book I was craving more of Daisy and Joker and their continuing story. Amazing read!

Good read
I enjoyed this MC book. The focus was on only one member of the MC and his President. So the MC was not really involved except as it pertained to the President’s actions. I haven’t read a story focused on a confidence scheme before this one. I quite enjoyed it. HEA. No cliffhanger but it does sort of lead the reader to the next book which I am anxious to read.

A very good, well written story that will have you hooked. It's a page turner with twists and turns. Joker is sent on a job, meets a woman in the process who just happens to be a con artist and from there things spiral. At first it seems that Joker and Daisy/Charlie don't trust each other for good enough reasons. But can these two figure it out? Anything is possible.

Two people who are broken and beating themselves up for things that have happened to their loved ones.
Joker has one last job to do before he can take his son and have a better life for both of them. Once he finishes the job he can go back home to New York, pick up his son and figure out what to do next. He has to show his son a better life than what he had growing up. Unfortunately, he may not get the opportunity to have a better life. His club may have other plans for him.
Daisy doesn’t know any other way to live than how she has been for years. One job to the next just to survive. She’s smart, beautiful, and dangerous in how she can play people. However, she’s tired of living her life this way and wants to go the straight and narrow, but she may not get the chance. This one last job could set her up so that she can find her way to a straight life, but she isn’t prepared for Joker.
I loved this story. The pages turned quickly, and the characters kept the pages hot. Joker and Daisy are two people who are trying to find a better way of life, but their circumstances keep pulling them back and holding them down. They have to fight for what they want and make those fantasies reality. It takes a lot for them both to find their way and attain what they want, but once they figure out how to step up and keep going, they’ll find that reality they both want. I give this story a 5-star review and would love to read more of these characters. This was my first read of Barbara Nolan, but I will be looking for more of her books in the future.

Joker has everything a man can want. He's vice president of the Raiders, he has a woman and a son, and overall life is good. But when is woman is taken and the club takes a dangerous turn, he begins to rethink his choices. He decides that he wants out to try and give his son a better life. All he has to do is complete one more job. Daisy is beyond broken. She's been fighting since she was born to survive. She's learned how to con people in order to keep going, and all she needs to do is one more job.
In order for both Joker and Daisy to survive, they must pull off the ultimate con while struggling to trust each other. Joker is scared to allow his heart to feel and trust, and the last person that Daisy wants to trust is a biker. But neither can deny the chemistry that is brewing between them.
This was the first book I have read by this author, and I enjoyed it. I like the different perspective of a biker wanting to leave an MC rather than one wanting to join or just accepting. It took me a little bit to the point where I didn't want to put the book down, but it is a good read and I do recommend it.

Which one is beyond redemption........maybe both in the end
Beyond Redemption is the first book in the Serpents MC Las Vegas series and this time the author has taken a bit of a darker turn from her earlier couple of books. As I was reading I also realized that the author has grown in her writing style which is a nice thing to see. This book has an entertaining and engaging story that has suspense, drama, intrigue, danger, twists and a nice amount of heat and sexy. The characters of Joker and Daisy, aka Charlie, are nicely written and there is a good amount of backstory to each which enhances the reading experience. Overall this was a good book and I look forward to reading the next in this series.

Joker was VP of the Raiders MC from upstate New York. His last job before the Prez was going to cut him loose was to make a payoff for a deal gone wrong to someone named Charlie in Florida. After losing his son, Derek’s, mother Joker wanted to make a better life for his son outside of an MC.
Charlie was all kinds of surprises once the meet-up finally went down. Joker and Daisy were really feeling a connection with each other even though neither had lived a life in which they ever thought of themselves in a relationship at any point of their lives.
There were so many twists and turns in this hot MC read that I couldn’t put it down. I loved the characters and can’t wait to read more about them in upcoming books.

I generally am over the top hooked on a good MC read. Beyond Redemption by Barbara Nolan has a solid storyline; some pretty interesting characters; a few twists and turns that really have you holding your breath; and a helluva good HEA. My only knock is that the book has too many chapters. While the storyline is good, there’s just too many chapters. It really takes away from the flow. Even so, you really want to take a look at this one...(I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and thought it was pretty darn good.)

Daisy is determined to never trust anyone. Joker is determined to raise his son away from the MC life. Will Daisy learn to trust and not to run? Will Joker get the life and family he dreams of?
I loved how despite the roles both were supposed to be playing, it was still real between them and their connection showed. I didn't blame Daisy for how she acted, after all she had never had someone she could rely on before. I loved how despite the fact that it was the way he had grown up, Joker was determined that his son would have more. Good read!

Joker is looking to leave the world of one percenters. He has one last job to do and then he will be free from the MC to make a better life for his son. Then Daisy happened, a beautiful con woman out to make a big score. She didn't expect to fall for Joke or he for her. She means something to him and he can't walk away, and now they both have targets on their backs. Great writing, interesting story with likable characters and lots of action. 4.5 stars.

This is the first book that I have read by this author, but it won’t be my last!
Joker and Daisy will take you on an adventure with so many twists and turns you’ll have to hold on tight.
I love the character development and the deep inside you get to their history.

This is the first book I've read by this author and the beginning to a new MC series and I really enjoyed it. There is a lot going on with some very tricky and interesting twists and turns. I look forward to seeing just where things will go with the series.

This was a great intro to this new series. Joker and Charlie have had tough lives but find something in common with each other. Lots of action with twists and some steamy scenes. Btw, there is cheating.

WOW!!!!
I don't know if I can put all of my emotions into this review because they are so strong. This story hit home hard. Two people who never should have met under normal circumstances. Unleashed passion too wild to ever contain. Confused and terrified by the emotions that sweep through every fiber of their being in such a short amount of time. The uncanny ability to open up your darkest secrets to someone you barely know. The unhinged knot and dread of walking away because you couldn't face the fear of what lay beyond those feelings...yeah. I did that. This book made my stomach churn with familiarity. Huge emotional swell of my past. But then comes the courage of knowing you have to face your mistake and go back to make it right.
I loved everything about this. The risk, the emotion, the protective nature of both Joker and Daisy. Not only for each other, but also protection of themselves. Daisy and her DEA scheme was golden! Also, the end with Digger and the audition...priceless! Such a stunning genius crafted by years on the dark side. Joker and his brute exterior, no ounce of love for himself, with a heart forged of gold...swoon! Two people needing an out, without realizing they found their in.

The character of Joker has had a rough life from beginning to present. I felt sympathy for this character from Redemption/Joker and was hoping that this book might give him something. The book gave a bit of both for this character. Joker gets heartache, fear, anger, and maybe a chance at a lasting love. I don't know what book is next in this series, but I can't believe we've heard the last of Joker and his son Derek. This story is an emotional one, but not as much as the prior book. I really like the characters. The new character, Daisy is interesting. The character, Digger is one that this reader can't help but hate. Will this be the end of the foul, disgusting, psychotic Digger? I sure am curious. I would recommend this to any adult, but I think this series will need to be read in order.

Get ready for the Rollercoaster!!!!
This is not your typical MC story but it is still oh so delicious.
I loved all the Twists & Turns and all the different emotions that came out in this book...Action, Love, Anger and Steam. I absolutely LOVE Joker, yes I said LOVE..He is all Alpha Protective man who just wants to love and be loved, YUMMY!!! Now Daisy, don't get me started on her....Just when you think you know her and love her you will scream like me, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME DAISY". LOL
Yup this book will get you going from start to finish, wanting to see how it plays out.
I can't wait to see what's in store for Joker and Daisy next...

Yup this book will get you going from start to finish, wanting to see how it plays out.

My heart broke for Joker and his son after his wife was brutally attacked and ended up doing something Joker will forever blame himself for. Wanting to get out of the life because of his son he takes on one last job to gain their freedom and once he gets to his destination things become fast paced and action packed. Daisy is a con artist, but after spending time with Joker she reveals a truth he never saw coming and soon these two find themselves falling in love. Barbara Nolan is a new author to me and I'm now a fan. I can't wait to read Cobra's story.

Wow! This beautiful and brilliant story just blew me away. The author has given us two in-depth characters who come with a great deal of baggage, are highly emotional and so vulnerable, and so in need of each other. Joker and Daisey are so different in how they handle things but wanting the same outcome. This story is thrilling, captivating, full of danger, beautiful romance, and has twists and turns you do not see coming. This is the second book I have read by this amazing author and I love her work. I can not wait to read the next book in this series.

This delightful book is the beginning of what looks to be an amazing series. The characters are so well developed, at times, I almost felt like I was in their world. I loved Daisy, a woman with an extremely interesting past who slinks her way into Joker’s life. Joker, on the other hand, is a bad boy biker with an extremely dangerous MC in New York. When Joker and Daisy meet, the slow burn gets fantastically hot. A wonderful start!

I've read the first two books leading to The Serpents. It is going to be a very interesting series. This is my first with this author, and I'm impressed. My heart bleeds for the heartache and trauma that Joker went through. Hopefully he will have a future with Daisy and his son. The abuse that the main characters went through has been dealt with compassion. Looking forward to the rest of the series

This is the first book I’ve read by this author. I’ve fallen in love with MC alpha male romance books. This took me a bit to get into. 14 chapters to be honest. Normally I would have given up but I am so glad I didn’t
Joker and Daisy were so good together. They both knew what they needed but were scared and that made them real.

Brilliant read
I stumbled across this author when I read the prequel to this story.
Her writing style is no nonsense, with loads of MC action that doesn't necessarily rely on club girls. It was fast paced and the plot was well thought out.
I'll definitely look for this author again.

Trust and Love are words you will not see thrown around in this story. The how/why Joker and Daisey meet is shocking and their story that follows is not for the faint of heart. Some of the unsavory characters had me cringing. I liked the dynamics of some of the friendships! An action packed storyline that was also slow and steady! This is the start to an intriguing series!
