3.5

Collette is reunited with her old class and two best friends for 6th grade after moving back to her hometown. One of the 8th grade girls befriends Collette because she has family connections to their teacher that the kids have a silly crush on. Marsha and Roger's relationship hasn't aged well. Throughout the book, cheeks are turning red from embarrassment or anger at least once a chapter. 3.5.

I read this perhaps when I was 12 or 13 for the first time, and I still go to it when I need something very light and quick to read. It was cute and fun, and not a bad portrayal of school.

Read this ages ago back in the days where I had literally read everything on my bookshelf.

I miss those days.
