Great book on dog training for people who don't have a lot of time to train, but want a dog who will fit into their family's routine. I like how she keeps things simple and doesn't believe in pushing puppies too soon.
While a lot of this was things I have already known and implemented, I appreciated Carol’s somewhat humorous approach and drawings to dog training. I also learned a few things I had never thought about before in understanding how dogs work.
I bought this book a long time ago, and it still holds up. It is easy to understand, and I appreciate the illustrations. The training does work if you are consistent and put in the effort. This book proves that busy schedules are no reason for dog parents to avoid training with their dogs.
