I found this book series on by downloading the first book for free and I have enjoyed all of the following books. I love the way that the main character Maggie goes about following her intuition, even though others around her try to dissuade her. In the 4th book, Maggie meets a fellow bead expert and of course she finds a dead body. This book did have me guessing who the actual murderer was until the end. I am not sold on the love story between her and the movie star Reese but it does make for some interesting conversations.

A very good mystery. The story moved swiftly with quite a few twists that left me turning the pages as fast I could to read the reveal. Her relationship with Reese is becoming more complicated and Reese is still struggling with the his own personal demons.

Wow!

How confusing can a murder mystery be? This one stumped me and I'm sure others too! But I do love a good mystery. Also I can see how our two heroes are definitely falling faster in love with each other. Maggie has pretty much decided that she wants Stanley in her life full time. Now she must decide how quickly this relationship will move. Can't wait for the next book.

Interesting!

Maggie and Reese are at a farmworkers bar Blair when a violent murder occurs! Reese is still suffering from v the fatal drug overdose he received in the previous book! He is vulnerable and afraid v so Maggie helps him search for his " ranch" while also investigating the murder. Good plot, unexpected solution, and great main characters!

I love this series

That's books just keep getting better and better. This was no exception. It was a really good mystery about a troubling subject. Every one should read about Maddy, Reese and Jasper!

Good book

Interesting storyline. Maggie eventually ends up solving the murder. I liked the further development of Reese's character- it adds an interesting common thread to the series. Looming forward to reading the next book.

Good story

Easy reading. The Maggie and Jasper stories are very lite but still keep you thinking who the real culprit is

Good Read

My only issue was with the culture names, I couldn't find a way of sounding them out. The stories have been good reads.
