Good heavens, these authors have lost their sense of ridicule more and more ! The guy is a disgusting cheater! No mistake here! He really cheats on her WHEN SHE WAS PREGNANT WITH HIS SON!!!! Merit to the author, she didn't take him back and for 16 years was with other men too but if you think he suffered with it you're very wrong. By the way he already had a daughter with another woman but was more interested in parties and women so conveniently just continued his lifestyle. Why the authors waste time writing this kind of caricature remains a mystery to me. So the coward waits for 16 years and fucking all the women around and after being tired of this he wants the woman back !! And still have no qualms about manipulating their son to get her back? Soooooo much for some honesty! And wait, do you think she confronted him at the time when she saw him cheating not with one, but with two women ?? Nop! And when he CONVENIENTLY decided he wanted her back do you think she offered any resistance or questioned him about the cheating ??? NOP, that's right! Just fell into bed with him! The book is boooooooooring (almost 50 chapters for NOTHING), they spend most of the book separately with OP (90%) and so, she "confronts" him about the cheating (after going in to bed with him and it was ridiculous) he apologizes, she accepts, he asks her marry him and period! My God if I could have the hours I spent reading this garbage back I would be so grateful!
"Mac ‘Cooter’ Carson, now a full-fledged member of the Devil’s Flyers, was a little pissed off."
"Where the hell was she, and why was she not answering her damn phone?"
“Your pequeña rubia comin’ to help you celebrate?” Toro asked when Mac handed him back his phone.
Mac huffed in disgust. “Fuck, guess not. She won’t even answer her damn phone.”
The short, stocky brother made a mock-sad face. “Then you’ll just have to party with las culas dulce, eh?”
“The sweetbutts?” Mac steadied himself against the back of a chair and surveyed the clubhouse.
There were plenty of women in attendance tonight, for certain. And some of them were fine.
The strippers from the State Line clubs liked to party with the brothers. They knew how to dress to thrill and work their bodies.
“I shouldn’t,” he said, shaking his head. “Not while I’m fuckin’ her, y’know?”
"Mac sank into the chair and watched, grinning as Toro beckoned and two pretty strippers strutted over. The redhead wore a tiny, stretchy tube dress, the brunette short shorts, high boots, and a halter that barely held in her D-cups."
“Hi, Mac,” they chorused.
"Before he knew it, he had a lapful of woman—no, make that women, both with an arm wrapped around him and their free hands busy messing with his hair and his shirt."
“Hey, what?” he said, then laughed when fingers tickled his belly through his open shirt. “Ladies, no—I have a…”
"The redhead bent in and kissed him, so he didn’t get to finish his protest, or his thought for that matter. Hard to think with whiskey coursing through his veins and a woman’s tongue in his mouth while her friend cupped his groin."
"Things got out of control fast. Way out of control."
.........
"I mean that you were not alone. And you weren’t exactly waiting for me, the way you’d said you would. You invited me to come to your party, as if I was special. But when I got there, you had two of your club sluts on your lap. One of them had her hand in your pants, Mac. And you were letting her do that. Or maybe you didn’t notice! Because the other one had her tongue in your mouth."
"Wait." He held up a hand, palm out until he got control of himself. "You owed me that shot. Because that should not have happened that night. But I’ll say, I was young (27!!), I was stupid, and I was also drunk off my ass, or it would not have happened. It may have been fifteen years ago, but I still remember—I thought you’d blown me off, tha tyou decided your mama was right, and you didn’t want to associate with my brothers. That you were too good for me.” (The author could at least have struggled with a real excuse, but just ... NOP)
“When I woke up the next morning and realized what I’d done… Jesus, I would’ve given anything to go back and not do it. But I couldn’t undo it either, so I went to you.”
He sighed heavily. “And you shot me down… and now I finally get why.”
“But you’ve gotta know one thing, Rae,” he said. “If you’d accepted me, if we’d gotten together the way I wanted? That would never have happened again." ARE YOU F*KING KIDDING ME????
These authors really believe that like to read garbage women like this??? Oh Puhleeease! I'm vomiting here! If you ask me why one star I really don't know. I think it's just must be hard to write 50 chapters with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING going on! So this is just pity.
First let me say that Ms. Case is a fine writer, with the exception of her stories events and dates not lining up. In previous books Mac was referred to as being divorced 3 times and having to pay child support to 3 woman. Then they are referred to as exes. If the beginning events in this book were 16 years ago, neither Rocker's, or Dani's and Grinder's stories make sense. Lastly, this book states first Cooler got his tattoo 6 years ago, then in the next pages it says when Connor was 6. So many inconsistencies, I have to get my teeth and keep reading. The characters make these books worth reading, but I also think Stick and Sara are becoming like mafia dons. "Are you worthy of us? Get gone" I am trying not to be negative when so much of the storyline is awesome. Maybe a chart of timelines, people, couples, children, and such should be included with this series.
Includes cheating (while she is pregnant...) even though the author advertises this book/series in the preface as "HEA, no cheating". Very bizarre that the author doesn't consider this cheating (or did not update the preface) when the couple was in an exclusive relationship and she was pregnant. He got upset when she didn't show up at a party and cheated on her. She witnessed it. He was then mad at her for breaking up with him without explanation because he didn't realize he had been caught. This was not a "misunderstanding" or case of mistaken identity.

Completely unsatisfying. He's a cocky cheater who takes her to a bar full of bikers for their "second date" has sex with her there, then throws her a 20 and tells her to call herself a cab home. Doesn't contact her again, she finds out she's pregnant. She gives him another chance and he cheats on her. It takes 16 years for them to talk about the reason their son didn't get to grow up with both parents, his cheating, and when they do it's all rainbows and immediate forgiveness. Gag.
I have loved all of the Honey books, but this one especially. RaeAnn and Cooler are two stubborn people who let pride get in the way of what they want. Each other. But that stubbornness works for them when Cooler fights for what he wants. Thank you Cathryn for another great book!
This is another great biker story. Rae and Cooler dated and got pregnant. They tried to make a go of it but didn't try hard enough. Sixteen years later and he realizes he'll never get over her so he decides to get her back. To do it he'll have to be sweet and stubborn. And a little sneaky.
What a ride between 2 very stubborn people the journey filled with anger, humor, suspense and finally giving in to the love they couldn't deny any longer. Cathryn has created a great family of bikers . You will not be disappointed. Eagerly waiting for the next book☺☺☺
Horrible not romantic H cheats on h when she is pregnant she sees they break up. They have a son he is a man whore for sixteen years co parenting with h. He finally gets tired of fucking everyone the walking STD so decides he wants her back. He manipulates her pretty easily and they get back together. I’m sure when he gets bored or pissed at her he will cheat again.
Great addition to a wonderful series. The Honey books are both hot and sweet this one was no exception. Rae and Mac start out rough and go through rough patches of miscommunications but in the end .... well read it and see.
Love this book, finally get to know why Cooler is the way he is.
They got together a few years ago and misunderstandings that they didn't discuss kept them apart until the child they created turns 16. Spending time together and actually talking leads to the sweetest honey..
Mac "cooler" Carson and Rae "mama" Denton make the cutest couple. As in real life the trials of any realtionship can be hard but with it if you work hard enough at it. Good to see that that is definitely on display in this book.
Can a reformed biker manwhore get a second chance with the mother of his son, the one he was truly ment to be with. She thought he was the one until he messed up, can two people find their way through it all to finally find each other.
As always, Cathryn is firing on all cylinders. Another terrific read! Can't get enough of Devil's Flyers! Love Mac and RaeAnn! Ready for Cassie and Heavy. ❤
This was another excellent addition to this great series. Cooler is somewhat estranged from his baby momma but after years apart he has plans to change that.
This is the 10th book of this series. You don’t have to have read the previous books to enjoy this book, but it will improve your understanding of the characters and situations. Also, they are all good books.
This book starts in 2002 and half of the book is set around that time. The second half of the book is set in 2019. At the start of the book, we meet RaeAnn, who is 22, shy and sweet. She lives in an apartment on her mother’s property and works in her mother’s business and she isn’t particularly happy with either choice. One night angry at her mother she goes out drinking with friends and meets the handsome and very charming Mac.
Mac is an EMT and hopes to be a paramedic someday. He’s a prospect with the Devil’s Flyers MC, where he feels like he has found the family of his heart. He loves to ride free and party.
When they start to casually see each other, despite a few misunderstandings they really like each other. However, when RaeAnn gets pregnant her priorities change and Mac’s don’t seem to match. They end up co-parenting their son but have little interaction until their son needs the help of his father.
This book wasn’t what I was expecting. It was much more set in the past than I thought, but that wasn’t a bad thing. It gave an insight into RaeAnn and Mac’s history and explained how they got to where they did. It was definitely an important part of their story.
When it got to 2019, when this book was written, things became a little more familiar. All the characters you get to meet in the earlier books are present and accounted for and help Mac, now known as Cooler, and RaeAnn with their son’s situation. The situation is handled with typical Flyers aplomb and of course, we get the usual HEA we expect from this sweet and hot series.
This book, like all of those in this series, is filled with sweetness, once we get past when these two good people hurting each other through misunderstandings and youth. It’s also pretty passionate in places too. The plot isn’t particularly complex, this isn’t heavy reading after all, but it’s interesting and provides a vehicle for the love story to be carried in. I still enjoyed it because it is perfect escapist romantic fiction.
I can’t believe I missed reading this book when it came out, because I used to read them on the day of release. I think I lost track of the series and forgot about them and the newsletter got buried by the spam filter for some reason. Never mind, I fixed the spam filter so it shouldn't happen again!
Fell flat, no chemistry between H’s. This authors books keep being hit and miss for me. When the heroes are decent men, I love them. When they are manwhores, which she seems to have a penchant for, I detest them. I fell back into this series seeing them in KU. Lacking any heat or chemistry between these two, though I did enjoy the story with the son and the gang. Mac is a manwhore, there is no other way to describe him. An EMT with a drinking problem, how wonderful that must have been for his patients. He is only 27 and already has a four-year-old daughter with another woman he didn’t have a relationship with. Mac screws up big time when he is caught with two women. He then lets 16 years go by, screwing lots of other women, at times with his son around, before he decides he wants RaeAnn back. He utilises his son to help with this plan. RaeAnn was weak, weak, weak. She couldn’t stand up to her controlling mother, she worked for a bitchy boss, she didn’t walk up and punch Mac in the face when she saw him with the two women, (she is pregnant at the time, where were the hormones), she didn’t confront him when she heard him talking with Della. But she has sex with Mac without clarifying he was sexually clean, yes, he uses a condom but that won’t always help. Then finally tells him why she walked all those years ago, then accepts his marriage proposal after a weak ass excuse/apology. At least she had been with other men and hadn’t pined like some heroines. Loved how the Boyz were handled. So funny. Having reread these all together in series order, I am sure that in an earlier book, Mac/Cooler had three children by 3 different women. Not just the two in this one. Will go back to reread again one day.
UPDATE 2025 Not sure Mac/Cooler would have cleaned up his act at all if Rocker hadn’t given him the hard truths on how he was declining towards being an alcoholic. Bounce truly was a good example of what not to be. Glad RaeAnn has led an active life and been in relationships with other men. But she really needed to become her own woman instead of her mothers lacky. She knows Mac/Cooler has been a manwhore, but the being clean speech is not bought up until AFTER they have sex. I will say there are some good sides to Cooler in how he acts as a father. He was strong, supportive, and made Connor show respect towards his mother. But he has also a bad influence on an impressionable teenage boy. Sleeping with women on camping trips with his son present. Having reread these all together in the box set, I know that in an earlier book, Gonna Marry for Honey in chapter 48, Mac/Cooler says to Streak that he’s been married and divorced three times and has three children by three different women. In this, his own book, his previous marriages are NEVER mentioned and RaeAnn is NOT one of his three previous wives. His third child is also never mentioned, just the two talked about in this book, Cassie and Connor. This is the second book that has a major plotline snaffu. How can an author not know her own stories, or at least keep a track of what a character says or does. Christmas Honey has still not been rectified of a major plotline error.

A second chance romance with tons of angst! 💞💓🥰🏍️💞
RaeAnn and Mac "Cooler" might've been meant to be together but they just couldn't trust each other enough to even give it a serious try. Not even for their son, Conner. That is until Conner gets mixed up in something that Mac thought was over and done. And then they go after RaeAnn. Mac knows it's time to call in his brothers the Devil's Flyers for help and not only save his little family but finally bring them together like they were meant to be. 💗🔥💕
This is the tenth book in the Sweet & Dirty BBW MC Romance series and can be read on its own. However, it is so much better when it's read in the order it was written as all the characters come back into each story and evolve along the way. 💖❣️
I truly adore this series because of the characters and how they develop and grow throughout the series. Plus, it's pretty fun for me, to read about places here in my hometown and know where they are. 🗺️❤️
I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
What we have here is failure to communicate! https://youtu.be/bLHZmVHSP7A The torturous and touching journey taken by Mac "Cooler" Carson and RaeAnn before they get to their happy is perfectly illustrated by that infamous line from one of my favorite movies. From his character's portrayal in earlier books in this awesome series, I never thought Cooler would become one of my all time favorite men of the series, but boy did he redeem himself. The story of his love for RaeAnn and his loving, sometimes sad, and often hilarious interactions with her as well as his two children, had me rooting for him all the way. Kudos to Cathryn Cade for another enthralling addition to an unforgettable series!
