Preacher Brothers. That’s what we were. A unit. The only family I had.
I’d never felt love, never felt like I belonged.

I buried what emotions I had lingering deep down, pushed them away until I was this stoic, apathetic machine. It’s how I survived, how I kept my brothers safe.
It’s how I showed them I cared, that I wasn’t a machine, a monster.

My history was one of violence, neglected by a parent who only wanted to train his sons to steal, to take from others.

It’s all we knew, so that’s how we continued to live long after the old man died and we were left to make our own lives.

Professional thieves.

That’s what I was, and I reveled in it.

I’d been such a recluse, taking care of my brothers as they grew up, making sure we had money, food to live. I never wanted or needed a woman… never even knew what it was like to touch, kiss… claim a female.

And that had been fine with me. Until now. Until she came into my life and refused to back down. Until I knew walking away from her would leave a hole in my heart.

Kimber.

Mine.

But I wasn’t a good man, and Kimber deserved better. I should have left. But I couldn't.

And I knew one thing for certain... not making her mine would only guarantee my complete ruin.

She was my downfall in the best of ways.

Book 2 and boy oh boy it was good!!

Now last book i didnt like Cullen that much the last book and wonder how this grumpy guy shall be in his book and it didnt disappoint!!

Crashing due to the heavy rain thats where we left off, now Kimber a nurse in a small town spots his car and is being a good person coming to his rescue girllll carried him or dragged his heavy ass to her car. Kim is slowly suspicious since he has lots of money and a gun but it doesn't stop her from helping him.

As for Cullen he is still grumpy that he was helped and was.. he thinks going to hurt Kim since she knows to much lol lies he was already falling head over heels for his Nurse.. he did push back few times. But once he he stop boy he was on her like fire.

It left us with a cliffhanger for one of the brothers... and dang :0

No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary chara, sexy timesz Drama, both virgins

I really loved book Dom and Amelia’s book and could not wait to read Cullen’s story and I was anything but disappointed. It was hot and steamy and when Cullen and Kimber come together they are finally complete.

Cullen spent years accepting the physical abuse from his father to save his brothers, but now he needs to get away, now that his younger brother Dom has found love and things are about to change in a way that he cant accept at least not yet, the only choice he has is to get some breathing room and sets off to his cabin but caught in a storm he ends up in an accident. When he wakes Kimber was the last thing he was expecting, she is an angel and wants nothing but ti help him, could he really trust the way he feels about this woman, could she really heal him in everyway or will he ruin her?

Kimber lives alone and that’s the way she likes it after years of being her drunk fathers punchbag she is living the life that she wants, she put herself through school and is now a nurse. When she witnesses an SUV tumble off the road she knows she must help and one look at Cullen and she is prepared to do whatever it takes to heal this man and manages to get him back to her house. Can Kimber show Cullen the light and banish the darkness and could they heal each other?

I cannot wait for the next Preacher brother book especially after the lead on from the end of this book. I recommend this book and series as a great weekend read.

3.5* I honestly loved Cullen in the last book. Ik it sounds a bit insane but I loved how protective he was over his brothers and everything was very sweet. But anyway, I really like this book. My only critique is that it happened too fast. I would have though that Cullen’s story would be further along, like maybe towards the end of the series, not second. Like in the first book, we just had him talking crap about love and how you don’t need it and he doesn’t care for marriage blah blah blah. But I’m the next book, you’ve got him in an instalove. It just does’nt make much sense. Other than that, I love Kimber and Cullen. They were so sweet, and it was a nice book.

I have been waiting for Cullen’s story from when I finished Dom’s story and I wasn’t disappointed. Loved Cullen and Kimber. Their chemistry and attraction was so instant and intense. They were so good together. It was so nice watching them be able to open up to each other and find the happiness they both were looking for. The ending was just wow. I loved it. I can’t wait until book 3. If it is anything like books 1 and 2 are, it is going to be be explosive.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Now we get to embark on Cullen and Kimber story. Cullen isn't happy, not about his brother finding love and not with himself.

Deciding he needs a break away from family. He gets into an accident in the bad weather. Luck be a lady, brings a ER nurse Kimber to his rescue.

Each has secrets but as the layers get peeled back so do the clothes but this is so much more. The shocks and twists are pulse pounding.

These Preacher brothers are going to be the death of me...but what a way to go. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

At last!

I was so excited for Cullens story and it did not disappoint. Cullen is really hard and does not trust outside of his brothers. Kimber is drawn immediate to Cullen and sees what no one else does. The story is a page turner! I wish it had been a bit longer.

I normally don’t enjoy reading about virgin Heros especially ones who are super hot/alpha and in their 30s but I read this because its short and on kindle unlimited. The way Hero goes at it you would never know he hadn’t done it before. Sounded more like a porno star then virgin.

Insta everything.

I have been ready for Cullen’s story since reading Dom’s story (The Kingdom) and Jenika does not disappoint! When I first met Cullen, he was the hardened cold jerk that was protective over his younger brothers. Cullen removed himself when he realized Dom wasn’t going to let go of the woman that he had fallen in love with. Poor Cullen had taken all the abuse from their father growing up, he had hardened himself, and he didn’t know how to react to the feelings of happiness he felt for Dom. When he gets into an accident, driving wreckless thru a snowstorm, he doesn’t expect to find his own love - the nurse who rescues him and helps heal not only his physical injuries the wreck but also the ones from his past.
Kimber has busted her hump to get where she is today - coming from an abusive background, she embraced the pain she endured and focused on healing others. When she comes upon a wrecked SUV on the way home, she knows she has to help heal the man she found...she just didn’t realize that he would be healing her as well.

Jenika killed it with this addition to the Preacher Brothers series. She created two characters that came together under unusual circumstances - two people with the same painful upbringing, so different but the same in their heart and souls. This story will grip you until the end, I found myself smiling over Cullen finding his light in the darkness that he had been living in so long. The lead into Walker and Frankie’s story though! Jenika does what she does best with this story and doesn’t disappoint one bit - I can’t wait to read the next!

My fricking GOODNESS.

CULLEN!!

In Dom's story,Cullen is shown as an absolute hardass and a tough nut to crack and naturally my heart completely fell for him. There was a little insight as to his side of the story and now that his complete story is here..

My precious darling.
And Kimber was absolute LOVE, I loved loved her. The way they meet ..

...Kimber was just, I repeat, absolute love.

This story was an utter joy,a comfy reader heaven. It has all that you need. Drama. Emotions. Story. The absolute frigging chemistry.

Jenika is THE queen and she always delivers. I adore her. Never a dull moment with her stories.

I've been waiting for Cullen's story and I really liked it. He gets into an accident while driving in a rain storm and Kimber, a nurse, comes to his rescue. Against her better judgement, she takes him to her home to take care of him. Each of them have secrets and they slowly start revealing them to each other. Will they be able to stay together or will the secrets tear them apart? Even though I really liked this story, I was a bit surprised that Cullen didn't put up much of a fight in claiming Kimber. In the first book, he comes off as so against Dom getting his woman and seems to want nothing to do with a woman. Overall, this was a really good story and I LOVED the lead in at the end of this story that will be the beginning of the next story. Bring it on!!

This is Cullen & Kimber's story.
Cullen is an unhappy camper right now. His brother has found the love of his life and it just hasn't happen to him yet. Disheartened he decides a little family break is in order and takes off in bad weather that leaves him in an accident.
This is how he meets Kimber she is an ER nurse and comes to his rescue.
These two just fit so perfectly together with one another. Both have secrets that they must work through however these two are still powerful together. The story has a lot of twist & turn but it made it even more exciting. I also like that Kimber is a strong woman and I like that she actually came to the Cullen's aid instead of the opposite that you always read about in other stories. Gotta love those Preacher Boys!!!!!

I enjoyed Cullen and Kimber's book. There is lots of tension and steam as this couple's story unfurls, but also a surprising sprinkle of sweetness. If you have read book one in this series (and if not you should because it was a very good read and each book kind of flows into the next one), you are well aware that Cullen is very closed off and cold character. It was good to see him loosen up a bit. I felt that these two made a very good pairing. Opposites in some ways and yet they had plenty in common. I can't wait to read book three. This is my volitional, candid review.

His perfect match
This is the book I have been waiting for. The last book left us in a fiery crash full of regret, and I just needed to know that this secret softy found his little piece of happiness. Thank goodness the author didn’t make us wait and his piece of happy came in the form of a no nonsense ER nurse. I loved how the author brought these two together and seemingly just at the right moment, for the Preacher family. You are going to love this book and will be thirsting for the next installment. I know I am.

Can a bad boy and a feel good nurse complete one another
Jenika tells a wonderful story about Cullen, a bad boy Preacher who is saved from his accident by Kimber, a feel good nurse. Can what they find being together, complete them? You have to read to find out and won’t put the book down until you turn the last page. The ending, much like book 1 in the series eludes to the next book in the series, which I can’t wait to read.

Cullen is unhappy with his life and decides to get away from family for awhile. He meets Kimber when he is in an accident and in the ER. Kimber is a nurse and takes no nonsense from anyone. Cullen and Kimber each have some painful pasts but they come together with plenty of chemistry. A good read.

After an argument with his brothers Cullen heads for the family cabin. Stormy conditions cause his car to crash. He is unconscious when ER nurse Kimber finds him. She takes him to her house. They are drawn to each other but both of them have had abusive childhoods to deal with, and the fact that Cullen is a criminal also complicates things. This is the second book in the Preacher Brothers series. Read book one to get the whole story why Cullen and his brothers were fighting.

Holy hotness! Cullen is as cold as they come and Kimber is sweet and passionate. What happens when Cullen finds the one thing that will warm his heart. Can these two find away to make it work or is Cullen to srt in his coldness.

I loved the instant attraction Kimber had for Cullen once she was past her fear of him. The fact that they both were it for each other was kinda hot. Their past pain drew them together and made them stronger and better for each other.

Just finished Jenika Snow's The Heathen and LOVED IT! She's one of my favorite authors and never disappoints. Heathen is book 2 of her Preacher Brothers series. Her characters are always well-developed and well-matched, and the sex scenes are off the charts hot!

Virgin, but wanted his brother’s girl so... why would you write a virgin hero, knowing how great that trope is, but he also wants another girl, a girl who is not the heroine. Not cute, B, not cute. Being second best isn’t adorable. 🖕🏽
