This books provides an overall summary of Ayn Rand's philosophy of objectivism. Basically it says that rationality and reason are the best ways for humans to live to their fullest potential. Objectivists seem to think that capitalism is the best government solution allowing for people to meet their ultimate goals. I get what they're saying, but they seem too extreme for me.

Brilliant! The author explains Ayn's Rand philosophy in simple, understandable terms with many references to her novels.

A must read for those who have enjoyed Atlas Shrugged and the Fountainhead.

Didactic and shallow. I do like the philosophy though. Read Rand instead.
