The gorgeous chef is possessive and utterly male, with broad, sculpted shoulders, perfect lips, and an enormous rolling pin at his disposal.
Nate Glover is a celebrity chef with magic hands and a charming smile that makes his female audience swoon. Not only that but the handsome alpha male has chiseled abs; muscles carved from wood; and a heavy, meaty rolling pin.
Not that I’m complaining.
But the problem is that I’m his student. I’m little more than a servant, come to think of it. Chop this up, he commands. Dice that, he asserts. Massage this dough, he growls.
Massage?
On it, sir.
Unfortunately, the gorgeous Chef Nate hates my guts. I mean, hates with a passion. He would rather serve up rotten food to his customers than teach me the finer points of cooking ...
…. except one day when he catches me alone in the kitchen.
Soon, we’re looking for dark, private spaces together when we should be whipping up meals.
Instead of making food, we’re making magic.
But what happens when this chef puts a bun in my oven?
Will he stay, or will he become a babydaddy to go?
It’s getting hot in heeeere! If you love masterful, gorgeous men who POSSESS their women, then you’re in luck! Chef Nate is a huge, growly hunk who handles the feisty Alyssa with the touch of a professional chef. Always an HEA, with no cheating and no cliffhangers.
I honestly know why I keep doing this to myself. The good news is it was better than the previous one, the bad news is that it was still pretty bad and intentionally funny. Even better news, I'm over my curiosity about the authors other books so I can move on to better books.
HMMM HMMM.... Where do i begin? FIRST THO THE BOOK WAS ONLY GOOD. Not great. It was a good book to read and the happy ending was pretty good. I WANT A LONGER EPILOGUE BUT oh well lol
‼️I DON’T LIKE when the hero was being a jerk to the heroine at the class and afterwards he didn’t apologize to the heroine. He simply do that because IN HIS MIND HE THINKS IT WAS A RIGHT IDEA TO PUSH HER AWAY SO THEY DON’T HAVE A RELATIONSHIP because he was her chef teacher. So bother even think about her all the time? 🙄🙄
SO MANY ANNOYING STUFFS HAPPENS...
AFTER THE HERO AND HEROINE HAVE S*X The hero immediately cleans himself up so fast and just say MEET ME AT CLASS. No kissing and no nothing afterwards. What a as*hole 🙄🙄🙄
THE HEROINE WAS NOT SASSY ENOUGH! OBVIOUSLY THE HERO AT FIRST WAS A MEAN but she didn’t even address him enough and sassy to him saying HEY IT WAS NOT RIGHT! Nope... she just opens her arms to him every time he comes to her place and didn’t even say sorry first!
‼️IT HAS SEPARATION for few days or a week idk. Not too long tho... ONLY BECAUSE OF A MISUNDERSTANDING AND AFTER THE HERO FOUND OUT HOW A FOOL HE IS TO THE HEROINE AND HOW MEAN HE IS, HE CHASE HER DOWN. It was not very cool for him to just believed someone else and not trusting the heroine enough...
NOT A SMART MAN 🙄🙄🙄
DURING THIS TIME THE HERO GOES OUT AND i thought he was going to do something stupid with the OW but he didn’t and he found out that the OW was the one fooling him about the heroine. He found out and mad at the OW.
‼️AT FIRST IT WAS SO ROMANTIC! THE HERO IMMEDIATELY WANTS THE HEROINE SOOO BAD THE FIRST TIME HE SEE HER and asked her out! He kissed her and it was very sweet!
‼️NO CHEATING
‼️NO DRAMA WITH OM. ONLY WITH OW. It was pretty annoying BUT NOT TOO ANNOYING...
‼️I GIVE IT 4 stars because in the end the hero really make it right with the heroine and overall he really shows how much he wanted her and this is a wonderful thing for him.
‼️SAFE LOVE STORY
‼️THEIR CONNECTION is pretty good and sweet but not too hot like i wanted it to be lol
‼️THE HERO is not too alpha male material
‼️HOT SMUT SCENES
‼️THE HEROINE IS A VIRGIN
‼️HAPPY ENDING. They are engaged and pregnant. I want a longer epilogue tho...
S.C. Adams has just scripted a beyond beautiful book, for all of us romance junkies. Could you imagine meeting the chef of your dreams, and you didn't even recognize him, in his normal street clothes? That is exactly what happens when Alyssa, who has just arrived in NYC, is assisted by a gorgeous stranger, although, he does look familiar. Being from Maine, she truly doesn't know a soul. Only on her very first day at NYACA she overly surprised, when she discovered he's her teacher & dream man all in one), first thing in the morning the very next day. Nathaniel, introduced himself to this fresh-faced beauty, as Nate, after seeing her depart from the train. Being instantly drawn to her, like a moth to a flame. He then asked her on a date.
Discover what happens when These two need to fight, with all their might, against the chemistry and shared lust. Some things are just meant to be, but getting the happily-ever-after they deserve takes you on one heck of a ride of ups & downs. You've got to read this book, it is truly terrifically crafted.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced readers of of Baby Daddy To Go in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion. I strongly recommend reading this book as well as anything published by Ms. Adams.
Alyssa's dream is to be a chef at her own place so she gets excited when she gets into an exclusive culinary school in New York. Her grandparents drop her off at the train station and she's off on her journey to being the chef she wants to be. On her first day there she gets turned around and a nice guy helps her find her way and takes her out for her first night in New York. They hit it off and she counts him as her first friend. However what she didn't expect was to walk into class the next day and find out that he was her teacher. Sparks fly between them and Nathan pushes Alyssa harder than other students. He gives into temptation and goes to her apartment and they end up sleeping together. There isn't any rules stopping them from being together so they see each other discreetly. Yet a misunderstanding has them breaking up. Will Alyssa stay in New York? Can Nathan see that he is wrong about her?
This is a steamy hot story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
This book was wonderful! Nate and Alyssa had super HOT chemistry! Alyssa Hall gets accepted to the New York Academy of Culinary Arts to study under a celebrity instructor. She is hoping the chef is someone she regards highly because of how he started in the industry...Nathaniel Glover. Besides that, he is ridiculously hot and seems to ooze with strength and confidence. When Alyssa gets off the train in New York City she is lost. That is until a handsome man helps her find her way to her street and apartment. He asks her out on a date for later that day. Of course she accepts. The date goes off without a hitch. Later on while watching tv, she can't believe her eyes. She knew the guy she was with looked familiar. He is none other than her famous celebrity chef crush, Nathaniel Glover. So why didn't he let known who he really was? Alyssa was looking so forward to her first day at school with Nathaniel as her teacher. But when she walks in the class she gets the shock of her life! I highly recommend this book!
Ms. Adams continues her excellent, steamy stories with this meeting between a super-hot, superstar chef and a curvy, chef-wannabe, girl. The chemistry starts with her arrival at Grand Central Terminal in NYC for culinary training, where said chef rescues her, and continues at her apartment. Then she discovers her rescuer is also teaching her course. She finds a totally different persona in the classroom and decides her dreamboat is an jerk, but he quickly seduces her and they enjoy a month of after-hours tutorials, not necessarily about cooking. Then the bottom falls out (as it must) and two hearts are broken. Fortunately for us, there's an HEA (whew!). This entire series is wonderful, escapist, entirely enjoyable light reading and will definitely fill one's need for steamy romance with a believable plot line and fun protagonists. Breaking my self-imposed limits, I stayed up until 2 a.m. to finish this and was well-rewarded.
ONE INCREDIBLY THRILLING TREAT!!! Pass the sizzle please! Adams stirs one chaotic mix that's as thrilling as it riveting with all the shenanigans and mayhem that blasts this baby to life flawlessly. A bevy of happenstance chocked-full of inadvertent events keep you flipping page after page. Pushing on-ward, hurdling the trials and tribulations, along with a slew of plot twists and sharp turns fuses this baby together sleek, shiny and tight. The characters chemistry sizzles from the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. The characters are genuine and original with depth and qualities that blend and flow. The scenes are so vividly detailed it gives the illusion you were right there with them instead of on the sidelines. Remarkable job Adams, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
A great story by Adams. Loved the drama and all the different dynamics in it. It tied together nicely. Though there was a few times I wanted to smack the main male lead like Gibbs and the secondary woman I wouldn't mind having a swipe at her either.
Alyssa is a small town girl wanting to live out her big dream in the big apple aka New York as a Chef. But first she needs to pass Chef school. Just when she's at her wits end, she meets the nicest guy ever...or is he really? Nate can't wait to teach this year. Being a celebrity chef is big enough. But when a college let's him test out teaching a class. He can't wait to teach these kids what they need to know. Only he's now is enamored by one of them that he met. Can he teach the students and have his cake too? While not being biased at all?
Alyssa is moving to NYC to go to culinary school. She is going to miss her grandparents who raised her when her parents died. As she arrives in New York she gets horribly lost when a man offers to help her. It's the beginning of something wonderful. Little did Alyssa know he was the famous chef Nathaniel Glover. He was also going to be her teacher. She soon discovers who he really is. First day of school she's late and gets chewed out. She's hurt. What happened to that gorgeous guy? Alyssa is confused by the way Nate's been acting. They do start seeing each other but there is a bump in the road for them. Will they make it through? Great story and ending
I loved most of this book , however he saw something on her phone , did not let her explain anything screamed at her , kicked her out of his house with no cloths on and didn't bat an eye . then because he decided to go drinking to forget what a cheater she was he found out the truth about what really happened .. And she forgave him just like that .. What BS all because he was use to people acting that way with him because he had money .. What kind of crap was that .. She should have made him suffer and made him make up for what he did .. So sad that she had such little regard for herself
He kicked her out while she was basically naked! She was so quick to forgive him! It reeked of desperation. Also apparently she didn’t feel like she needed to work her way up to owning a restaurant and was more than fine with her famous rich boyfriend just giving it to her. I almost DNF’d but stuck with it. Kinda steamy but the first time they were together was really off putting with how he was so dismissive immediately after. Another thing..who was helping Samantha and were they stalking them? How did they know the one night they happened to be apart as well as exactly when she got on the train?
Nate and Alyssa two strangers that meet in the train station and end up having this great connection. Nate soon realizes that he will be her instructor at Chef school. After one kiss he leaves, the next thing you know he is berating her for being late in class and she can't understand this hot and cold attitude he has towards her. They have this intense attraction for each other and their journey to their HEA is riddled with obstacles that makes this an entertaining read. I honestly volunteered to review this arc.
Alyssa is in a new town and lost when Nate offers to help her, and they end up having a fun time together. Only problem is the next day Alyssa is late, and she is shocked to find out that Nate is a celebrity chef and she is his new student. However, Nate does not make things easy for Alyssa. No spoilers; this is a definite must read! This is a well written story which has drama and romance which all lead to a steamy read which had me intrigued and hooked throughout. I recommend this talented author’s work for all.
Alyssa has dreamed of culinary school for years and now that dream has come true...or has it? Will her dream become a nightmare before classes even start? Nathaniel is a chef in top of the world and teaching seemed the next logical step, but that step may cost him more than he's willing to give.I Great story of miscommunication, misunderstanding and downright betrayal. Loved the characters and the story. I received an ARC and am leaving my honest opinion.
So good. Not really an enemy to lovers book. Nate is a famous chef and teaching a year long course at NYACA. He meets Alyssa in Grand Central Station when she arrives in NY with a dead cellphone battery. Nate helps Alyssa find her way to her new home and asks her on a date before he leaves. Things heat up from there.
He has wanted her since she became an adult and even longer. He is her secret fantasy. He is an older male and her a younger woman. He knows things are touchy with the situation. Her parents were killed and he knows if things don't play out right he won't have her. Love this author's books. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
This is a well written older man/younger woman, enemies to lovers romance. The author does a great job developing their relationship and moving the story quickly and smoothly. The detailed scenes help to bring the story to life and I enjoyed reading.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I thought that this was a delightful romance. Nate and Alyssa's story was easy to get into and quite simply a very fun read. I loved the chemistry between these two and the sparks they generated were hot! Steamy scenes, intense emotions, drama, tension and a nice sprinkling of sweet and cute round out the perfect recipe for a absolutely wonderful read. This is my independent, impartial review.
Wow That crazy girl Samantha was desperate as hell. She went as far as to get Alyssa's number and have some dude text her as if they had been hooking up, just so she and Nate would break up. Mate was blinded by anger and jealousy and almost lost Alyssa. Luckily Sanantha's desperation led to the discovery of her plot to get Nate for herself and push Alyssa away.
The story of Nate and Alyssa. Nathaniel is a Celebrity Chef who has a couple of TV shows and his own restaurants, Alyssa just got accepted into NYACA with a Celebrity Chef teaching. Alyssa gets into Grand Central Station with a dead phone so buys a map but not sure how to read it. Takes an exit and finds she is lost. This story is so different and so good I read it in one sitting because I wouldn't put the book down It's an easy read standalone HEA
I don’t think the blurb “ an enemies to lovers secret baby romance “ is accurate. I think the two main characters were enemies for one day...then it was hot and heavy...I really expected the pregnancy to show up earlier in the story but it didn’t until the very end...
This is the second bookni have read from this author today. I don't know how I never heard of her before. The recipes made me salavate and they were a truly hot 🔥 sexy couple.
I really enjoyed this book. It takes three of my favorite things and puts them all together. I love romance, New York City and food! Then you add a happily ever after and you have a fun read!
ARC review For honest review. This is a really cute story of Alyssa hall who goes to new York academy of culinary arts nyaca and ends up working under celebrity instructor Nathaniel Glover .
For this it made me laugh in all the wrong places the sex scenes! I like the start when she met him. But he blow hot and cold. I got kind of tired of his actions.
Loved Nate and Alyssa, they make a beautiful couple. This lovely story proves that love conquers all. Samantha is quite a character but happiness for everyone in the end.
