IMPORTANT:
1. Paperback version is printed in black and white (not in color).

2. Due to a typesetting error, a few figures were omitted from the paperback version of build 1.10. This error was fixed in Build 1.11. We sincerely apologize for this mistake. If you purchased the paperback version between Nov. 7 and Nov. 26th and received a copy of this specific build number with missing figures, please contact us at support@enthuware.com. We will provide you free 1 month access to Enthuware mock exams as compensation. The figures are present in the Kindle version and are also given on the errata page: enthuware.com/resources/ocp-java-11-1...

3. Unlike the previous version of the exam, the official Exam objectives released for this exam are too vague. Some candidates have reported getting questions on topics that are too advanced or are not mentioned in the objectives. Your feedback on such topics will help improve the content.

4. This book DOES NOT include mock exams. It is meant to complement Enthuware Mock Exams and should be used as a study guide before or while attempting the mock Exams.

Concise way to inform yourself about the basics required for level 1 exam. Unfortunately with the new format the level 1 exam doesn't exist anymore for OCJP. Nevertheless, the book provides a good overview on the basics.

Disclaimer: I was a reviewer for the book.
The book covers all that is required for the OCP Java 11 Programmer Certification Part 1 1Z0-815 exam. I administrate enthuware forums and answer a lot of Java questions posted by Java certification aspirants. I can confidently say that if candidates read this book, my work load will be halved because most of the conceptual questions are answered in this book.
As with any technical book, there are some typos here and there that are easily understandable but overall I didn't see any major technical mistake.

A big plus is that the book is published on demand so all errors that people report are fixed and a new version is released every few weeks. So, you don't have to apply the errata.

Couple it with Enthuware mock exams and you will be all set to pass the new Java certification exam.

Overall, at $2.99, the book is a steal. It should be priced more.
