---This short novella is book #4 in the Guardian Angels series, with all the other boys in the picture. You could read it first if you wanted, but it'll be more fun if you read in order.---
Newly married for the sake of his immigration status, Lucas heads to help out his new husband--Doc, the army doctor he's always had a ridiculous little crush on--with Thanksgiving preparations for the whole Guardian Angels family. Sparks fly from the moment he arrives and soon enough, he's falling into bed with his own meant-to-be-fake husband.
Both men have their share of rough edges, but there's solace between the sheets and a chance to be each other's home...
... as long as they're both brave enough to take it.
Sean Ashcroft likes rainy days, white hot chocolates (don't knock it 'til you've tried it!) and boys kissing in books. He currently resides in Australia, all the way down at the bottom of the mainland in a sleepy little seaside town.
He writes sweet, hot books about sweet, hot boys who absolutely deserve each other.
What happens when your friend needs help? You marry him of course! It's the long-awaited story for Lucas and Doc. Commence happy dancing. Lucas and Doc belong together like bacon and waffles. Separately they taste good but together they’re divine. Speaking of food, I need Doc's recipe for hot chocolate or maybe I just need Doc to cook for me.
“I know what you need.” I really liked how Doc anticipated Lucas' needs and took care of him. He has a lovely daddy vibe. Lucas, who wants someone to need and want him, gives Doc the quiet he craves. They fit together seamlessly and after everything they’ve been through are so deserving of their own happiness. I’ll miss all of these guys but what a wonderful couple to end the series with. A sweet and steamy read that made my heart sigh with longing.
A short sweet romance with pretty much no angst. I feel like I need to read the whole series again. I’m sure I’ll revisit this book in particular when I need a pick me up.
