The Playroom #3

Mine, Body and Soul: Part 3

Rate this book
Can the BDSM lifestyle and love give two men’s souls the chance to soar?

Nathan and Lenny have learnt that life can be cruel and unjust. They’ve built barriers to shield and protect themselves from hurt.

That is until Nathan takes Lenny on a journey of sexual discovery.

Lenny’s ability to trust and let go, causes Nathan’s own walls to crumble. Now they must trust each other to embrace what it truly means to be Mine, Body and Soul.

This is the third part of the Mine, Body and Soul trilogy in The Playroom series. It is an MM age gap gay romance with aspects of BDSM that free two men from the chains of their past and drive them to finally accept the one thing they both crave from each other: love without boundaries.

Where does one start with about what I do?
I’m a writer, but I’m sure you guessed that by now if you’re reading this, hey? What you might not know is I’m a little quirky, live in my pj’s most of the time and have cake Saturdays with my sisters every week. I dedicate a little of my time to taking care of my grandbabies and on the dedicated writing days I like to write an eclectic mix of romance, suspense and paranormal fantasy. In the main I’ve written gay romance but I’m branching out under another the pen name in the future, so watch this space.
I’ve a passion for books like you would not believe and it led me down this path and now I’ve over 29 books released and heading towards releasing a whole lot more. The way my head is I never know where I’ll be headed next. I hope you’ll find a little joy in my words and follow me to see where the journey takes me and you.
If you’re interested at some point in 2021 I’ll be writing under the name JP Paton which will be F/M crime and Fantasy two of my favourite things. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled 

Each book increasing in intensity

The second one was a bit dark, with Devon making an appearance. But this one perfectly illustrates the end to Nathan and Lenny's story.

I noticed from the beginning Lenny has a tendency to be a little bratty - and Nathan seems to love it no matter how much he denies it.

The love between the two of them is beautiful, and the acceptance of each other's scars.

Can't wait to read Ferron's book next!

Lenny and Nathan (an audio review)

Book Two ended on a cliffhanger and I was happy the resolution came fairly quickly although the damage was definitely done. I’ve followed Nathan and Lenny through the ups and downs of their relationship, always holding out hope for them. Lenny’s medical issues have been mostly resolved, but now the men are facing the challenge of integrating BDSM into a fragile and tenuous relationship. Lenny has always wanted to submit to Nathan, but Nathan constantly frets about Lenny’s health. Throw in that Lenny has a new job that occupies much of his time and leaves him tired, and it’s a recipe for miscommunication which happens one night mid-scene. Instead of talking it out, Nathan reads the worst of the situation and begins to withdraw. I’m glad they worked things out and the ending put a smile on my face. A great conclusion to a great series.

Matt Haynes did a good job of narrating the series, carrying the voices through very well and differentiating which was a challenge given how many men were in the book. The author hints there is more to come in Ferron’s story and I can’t wait to pick it up.

This is a review of the entire three books series.

Lenny is a young man, abused as a child and now wearing a colostomy bag because of his intestinal injuries. He is looking forward to the surgery that doctors will be performing down the road to repair his intestines and allow him a full life. A life where he is longing for love.

He meets Nathan, a Dom, who was captured by the Taliban while in the service and suffered horrendous wounds to his groin during his capture. He has been a Dom for some time, but after his injuries he has retreated into himself and has difficulty relating to anyone in a D/s situation.

This story is about Lenny and Nathan finding solace in each other. A simple story really, but one I found myself enjoying very much (#3 wasn't published when I had finished #l and #2, and I was eagerly awaiting it.)

Overall I'd rate Books #1 and #2 as a full four stars because it focused almost exclusively on our two MC's. #3 is probably a 3.5 star read because the author brought in a lot of other characters that weren't quite as interesting as Lenny and Nathan. Overall, however, a good read.

What a fantastic conclusion to this series! Nathan captured my heart in book one when he met Lenny, a sensitive, damaged soul with health issues that had crippled him both physically and emotionally, and instead of thinking he was too much trouble he thought he was someone he wanted to get to know and care for. Lenny grabbed my heart with his heart and determination to survive what had happened to him and not just survive but thrive. Book two continued their relationship and just as they were getting it all together Lenny suffers a tragedy along with Ferron, a side character I love and want to know more about. Book three picks up during this same tragedy and from there grows through the beginning of the true dom/sub relationship of Nathan and Lenny. It’s beautiful to watch them grow through the initial health issues, to the danger and then to happiness. This was a wonderful read and definitely satisfies on every level!

I received an ARC for honest review.

“We all have scars, it’s just that some are more obvious than others.

JP is back with the conclusion to a delicious story about opening yourself up and trusting that love exists. This is part three and the conclusion of the Playroom Series. Nathan and Lenny are still navigating their D/S relationship and all of its dynamics along with the realization that their relationship is much more.

In this book we get to see a lot more of the Playroom group and how they all fit into this greater found family. Stag/bachelor party shenanigans and a sweet as pie wedding cause Nathan and Lenny to reflect on what they want from each other. The story is filled with snark, new and interesting couple pairings, grand gestures and a lot of steamy scenes.

This book was a bit slower paced than the first two books but I’m glad that Nathan and Lenny get their HEA.

Loved this book, it was one of the best stories I have ever read, JP Sayles has really out done herself with this series. It's finially time to allow the healing to begin, now living thst I'm living with Nathan after being released from the hospital since the attack, it's time to settle into our lifes, our friends and our jobs, but we still need to work on some broken pieces of us. After all the things that life has thrown at us learning to trust each other and live with the scars we have is going to be the hardest thing we will ever do, but if we can overcome this, we can have it all, together forever mind, body and soul.

4.5 stars This book picks up after book 2 and is not a standalone. I gotta say this is perfectly named series as both characters have gone through things in their lives. To be become One.
Nathan can't believe his eyes as he sees Lenny unconscious on the floor. Being previously kidnapped by someone from Nathan's horrible past. Dramatic scenes follow from there. Past health problems for Lenny get the green light from the doctors and Sir takes full advantage of his lovey Boy. BDSM scenes get tested to Penny's limits and the V card is finally lost.
This is another great book to the series. Nathan and Lenny both had baggage and needed to heal. A great ending included for them.

This book was so good! It picked up right where part 2 ended and we finally get to ind out what happened to Lenny. I loved the other side characters in this book and how they interacted with Lenny it was so cute. I can’t wait to learn more about each of them and their stories. I loved getting to see Lenny and Nate’s relationship develop more and wow that last scene. I don’t want to spoil anything but wow. Also I loved the wedding so much I was so happy for all the characters. And I loved how the title came into play in this book. I’m so happy they can trust each other and push each other to be their best selves. Lenny and Nate are such an amazing couple.

What a beautiful ending to a great series. I’ve loved this series, JP has an emotive insightful writing style, loveable characters I couldn’t help but connect with, so much raw emotion. Beauty and pain, heartbreak and triumph, Nathan and Lenny have been through so much, I loved their sensual intimate scenes, shibari is a favourite of mine. Lenny has grown so much from the first book, love his and Nathan’s humour and Nathan finally let go of his past, made me cry. I now have to read Adams and Richies stories.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book for my honest opinions of which I’m under no obligation to do so. I absolutely recommend this book.

As the final book on this trilogy, the story of Nathan and Lenny was evolving with a lot of highs and downs so I was really curious how JP Sayle was going to solve everything. The story followed up after the cliffhanger ending in book 2, and the page-turner continuation got me at the edge of my seat all time. I loved how emotional Nathan became about Lenny, and how Lenny was really understanding and patience with Nathan. They truly were a perfect Dom/sub couple and the end of the book reflected just that. Wonderful series!!! I strongly recommend read it in order to fully enjoy the trilogy.
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.

This last part starts where the cliffhanger of part 2 finishes. This is a fabulous concluding part to the rollercoaster journey that Nathan and Lenny have been on to get to their very sweet HEA.

I have really enjoyed every part of Nate and Lenny’s story with the added bonus of having the characters from JP Sayles earlier books enjoying some fun, I can’t wait to meet and find out more about Ferron and others from The Playhouse. This is such a heartwarming tale as Nate and Lenny lean on each other as they start to overcoming their past issues. I can’t wait to see what happens next at The Playhouse.

JP Sayle loves the HFN and cliffhanger endings to book. So it was just wonderful to get to the HEA ending of this series with the latest installment of Mine, Body and Soul. Nathan and Lenny have been working to get past both of their individual fears and past horrors. I love that this book isn't full of all the angst but leads us to happy times and warm fuzzy feelings. It was a great conclusion to their story while still introducing us to others that can keep this world interesting and letting us look forward to other great books! So happy with this ending!

Mine, Body, and Soul: Part 3 is the third installment of Nathan and Lenny’s story. This installment picks up from where the second part ended. Due to this, I highly recommend reading the first two installments before reading this book.

I found this book to be decent, but it was missing a cohesiveness. I don’t think these books should be in three separate installments and instead combined together—this would make the plot flow together better (in my opinion). Otherwise, I found myself really liking Nathan and Lenny as characters and I enjoyed their erotic and steamy relationship.

Yes

Definitely a slow burn but man was it worth it. I loved every part of this book. It wasn't just focused on the BDSM scenes, but more on Nathan and Lenny's relationship and their journey together. My only complaint was there was too many side characters introduced in one book. I know there needs to be supporting characters and I'm looking forward to reading their stories but it was hard to keep track of who was who. Especially when they weren't really relevant to the story except to be accepting their stories.

Oh my God I love Lenny and Nathan so so much. They have stolen my heart from book one! The conclusion was perfect, I couldn’t ask for a better ending. I just adore this series. It’s beautifully written and touching and all the characters are wonderful. Deep and well developed with interesting backstories. The side characters are amazing too. I can’t wait to read their stories.
I enjoyed every word of it.

Picking up from where book two ended, Nathan is faced with the possibility of loosing Lenny.
As Lenny recovers, Nathan realizes that he has so much more with Lenny.
We get a story of their passion, their coming together and learning to overcome the barriers in their relationship and finally a blending of their souls as they unite in so many ways.
The addition of past characters add humor, love and lightness to this plot.
A fantastic conclusion to this trilogy.

Emotional, gutwrenching, and uplifting! Watching these two men navigate their relationship and heal past wounds was a journey I was invested in from start to finish. It was like watching a flower bloom in rapid photography and the end result was a beautiful bloom. They each worked hard to find their nirvana with each other. The secondary characters added depth and dimension to a beautiful love story with I got lost in. I loved the prewedding scenes and the birthday party- memorable!

Wow!!!

I hat an amazing read. Both these guys are beautiful, strong, caring men. Lenny though has stolen my heart. He makes all my mama bear instincts come out. Nathan impresses the heck out of me. What really got my attention is how even though Nathan gives Lenny courage it’s Lenny that gives the example of personal strength. He inspires Nathan to be the Dom he’s meant to be. Their journey was so powerful to read. I see me reading their story again and again.

Beautiful ending

This was a great ending to a great trilogy.

Lenny and Nathan are so good together. This book ties loose ends (where they are concerned) and brings their story into a bright future.

I loved the way they conquered their fears and hang ups in this book and how their love and relationship bloomed.

I am so excited to see what happens next for all the characters we met in these books and where life takes them.

Hope to see more of Nathan and Lenny in future books

Mine, Body and Soul by JP Sayle is the third book in The Playroom series. This is a contemporary m/m romance with BDSM Kink and it continues the lovestory of Nathan and Lenny from the first two hooks. The story has sweetness and sexiness... has drama and suspense, comfort and hurt.... it is a fantastic story with great characters and concludes Lenny and Natgan's journey beautifully.

Loved this series so much!! I’m kicking myself for not reading it sooner.

This is the final book of Lenny & Nathan’s story. The way the author deals with not only the physical struggles but the mental issues is brilliant.

I love all the secondary characters and am looking forward to more of them (fingers crossed - I need Bailey 😍)

Love these MC's

I love that JP Sayle gave us this 3book story of Nathan and Lenny. Nathan is Carl's partner in the club and Lenny is a boy with big dreams but not much hope. I love that JP Sayle took the time to give us their entire story as both men dealt with their past. Sexy time, power exchange and real life dealings.

This is the best BDSM trilogy I ever read! This book start off right from the ending of the last one and it was brutal. Poor Lenny, I'm glad everything worked out smoothly, but in a believable way. Nathan and Lenny are still finding their way through their D/s relationship, but I liked they inserted some vanilla traits into the mix, it was super cute <3

This is the least favorite of the three, I must say regretfully. I still loved it, of course. But I think there was a little for filler than the others, it should had finish a few times and it just kept going without much plot, just their live together as a couple. Also, there is one scene that rubbed me the wrong way. It's something common in D/s relationship and one of the things I don't like. It was supposed to me funny and light and the guys wasn't bother by it. But it was a big deal.

I'll say the same thing about Matt Haynes I said the last book: Matt Haynes did an amazing narration. He is a voice actor, he doesn't just read the book but also put emotions behind every scene, every speech. His pace was spot on, the pauses between sentences was also good. And I could differentiate all characters.

Enjoyed every moment of each chapter. After listening to the cliffhanger of part 2 and eagerly waiting for part 3 the conclusion of Nathan and Lenny's story, it had me so riveted in my seat I had to listen to it twice from beginning to end....
And now their story has concluded, what is next?
I want more, more of the other characters' story.
This book is a must read/listen.
Great narration.

I've really enjoyed this trilogy of books. I liked seeing Lenny and Nathan's relationship develop over all three books, and I especially liked that this book saw more happiness than not. Lenny and Nathan both had difficulties to overcome, but they persevered together

The final part to this trilogy, and you MUST read books one and two first. I listened to them, and found I was missing that personal connection by switching to reading for the last book!

Still, I enjoyed the way it all played out!
