Loved reading these as a kid. Do I still love them? Certianly. No kid-ding.

Mad About the Seventies: The Best of the Decade by the Usual Gang of Idiots (Quality Paperback Book Club 1996) (051.0) is a collection of the highlights from Mad Magazine during the 1970's. This type of humor does not age well, but I surely loved it as a kid. My rating: 6.5/10, finished 1/31/14.

A collection of MAD articles from the seventies. I started reading from 1976 (know the first issue well), so some are familar favourites. Obviously time has aged the political and social issues that were the target of the humor, but sadly still parallels to today.

Who put the benzedrine in Mrs. Murphy's Ovaltine?
Who are the Brain Police?
Where are my car keys?
Some questions can't be answered. We can, however, say that this is an exemplary collection of MADness from a very weird decade.
