Reread! Can't get enough of the world of Bones MC, Salvation Bane MC from Florida and Cain's ExFil (a paramilitary mercenary company)! Black Reign what a pity but Sword and Magenta were what couples are made for!

This series gets better and better with each member as they get their tales told. This was H/h Sword and Magenta's gritty, fast-paced story. If you like very passionate and growly possessive MC alphas that does what it takes to make and keep their heroines happy, then read Bones MC-- you will truly enjoy this series! Mine you there are triggers in Sword and Magenta's story but watch how Sword's demon takes front and center stage when it comes to protecting Magenta from the sadistic Black Reign MC!

This is the first book I have read by this author. I love it. The author is able to provide clear images in my mind of the characters. The story is well developed and flows smoothly.
As I expected with a MC book, there are rough characters, alpha males, a clear hierarchy and strict discipline. I like the contrast between the different clubs. I also appreciate seeing that even with MC they are just regular people, some are kind and compassionate and some are horrible. Was surprised with the twist, which made everything more intriguing.

I received an Audible version of this book from the author through Story Origin. This is my first book by this author. So I didn't realize how extensive this series and a related series it goes. There is alot of interesting characters in the Bones MC and their rival MC.
This book is about Sword and his instant attraction for a girl being brutally treated, Magenta. (Love that name.) She refuses to give in to the abuse and fights the whole way. I fell for Sword. He didn't even realize he could be so caring.
The narrator gets 5 stars also. She presented this story with expression and emotion. Excellent entertainment.

I’ve read each of the Bones MC series, and I have to say that Sword is by far my favorite! I think it’s easily the best book in the series! A damsel in distress, who is far stronger than she gives herself credit for, a hero who will do anything to save her, and enough action to keep you flipping the pages! Not to mention the hot sex! This book has it all! Even if you haven’t read the other books in the series, you can still jump in with this one and not feel lost. Even though it’s novella length, the story didn’t feel rushed, and it’s a satisfying read that will leave you smiling at the end.

If you are reading an MC book, chances are it is NOT going to be filled with unicorns and roses. This one is no different. Magenta is with one MC because her mother is the ol’ lady to the President. That doesn’t score Magenta any favours though and her mum turns a blind eye to the beatings and the rest.

If you like your alpha males tough and no-nonsense with a soft, squidgy inside for the right woman, then this is exactly what you get here. Sword is possessive and growly, yet will drive all night on his bike just because Magenta likes it.

This is a fast-paced novella but I still got the connection between Sword and Magenta. There is a twist to this that I didn’t see coming, but enjoyed all the more because of that. This is the third book in the series, and although I haven’t read the first two, I was still able to grasp the back characters that enhanced this story. There are also plenty of steamy scenes that kept me turning the pages.

For a quick, caveman read then I have no hesitation in recommending this one.

Magenta's mother becomes the old lady of Crow, president of Black Reign MC - she loves the power that comes with the title. Magenta is dragged into the club, kicking and screaming, and forced to become a club whore. When Sword and several guys from Bones MC are visiting Black Reign, they're offered club girls. Sword witnessed her being beaten, and intends to keep her. She's not sure she can trust him not to hurt her, but he finally proves just that. There are some interesting plot twists along the way. This is a hot short book, the second one in the series that I've read (Bohannon is the other one), and this one is even better than the last. Sword helps her realize just how strong she is, and she makes him want to be a better man. Action, steamy sex, hot MC rider, cute younger woman - this book has it all!

To Care and to Claim



Oh, this may be over-the-top, but it's fantastic! I liked it so much that I listened to it twice in one day.

I love how protective Sword is and how he goes about claiming Magenta. It's all kinds of hot!

I suspected El Diablo's identity, but I found it interesting how that played out. Makes me wonder what the future holds. 🤔

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is Umi Markkanen. She consistently does a good job with the various characters.

What I really liked about the hero was how tender he was with the heroine when she needed it. He was also very alpha. I liked how the hero’s thoughts explained his strategy during the fight scenes. I liked the heroine’s willpower and inner strength despite having been abused. Their love story was beautiful. I recommend this audiobook. Short but so very sweet

This is a short story of Bones MC who goes to Florida to confront a drug running MC club who did business in Bones territory. Sword finds Magenta being beaten and proceeds to rescue her. There are MC battles, injury and deaths that occur. There are surprises with Magenta’s parents and grandparents. The chemistry is fast, sweet and hot between Sword and Magenta. The Bones biker family is engaging. Even though this is a short story, it’s well developed and was most enjoyable.

When Magenta's mom becomes the ol' lady to the Black Reign's MC President her life of misery begins. While visiting the Black Reign MC Sword spots one of its members beating Magenta and steps in, he takes one look at Magenta and knows that she is his but in taking her stirs up chaos between the MC's. Will he be able to keep her safe. This was an audio version of the book, and it was well received. The narrator was very engaging and drew me into the story. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this audio book.

Loved this book. The series is getting better and better and its only book 3. Love getting to know the characters of the MC through each book. This book's Male MC was great in his main aspects. The author really showed his characteristics and developed him great. The female was good too and she was integral to the story. The storyline was interesting and had lots of drama and some humor. Another fun, quick read to encourage me to concentrate better while I work—and this one was extra fun, because after hearing of the infamous ‘Diablo’ in several other installments, I finally got to meet him.

Sword was clearly something to reckon with and with Magenta mat his side was clearly a force. El Diablo was not who he seemed to be and BOI was that a surprise. Her mother was piece of crap (nice not nice) she literally did not care about her daughter.

I love the narrators' voices - real, clear and interesting.

I am finding a very serious theme - the adage is true when you know you know.

I am very much interested in the series and the stories coming up, especially Torpedo and Shadow.

This is the third book in the Bones MC Series. This is a series of interconnected stories, with an ongoing plot. Sword and Magenta's story is fast-paced, passionate, and interesting. The supporting characters are great and intriguing. I liked the action, the danger, the mystery, and the twists. Umi Markkanen did a great job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Viper, the next book in the series. I like this well written series! #StoryOrigin

This is another gritty story in the "Bones MC" series. These men are tough, fierce, alpha and protective, This story is fairly short and quick read/listen. It is the intense story of Sword and Magenta. Sword is the Enforcer for the MC and falls fast for Magenta. He sees her being beaten and treated horribly and is mesmerized at her spirit and determination. Magenta has had it rough and the Sword is a perfect fit for her.

Sword is a great addition to the Bones MC series. Magenta’s life has become a hell on earth since her mother became ol’ lady to Black Reign MC’s President. She knows she has to get out but not sure how. Sword arrives at the Black Reign clubhouse on club business but gets distracted by the woman being beaten by a member of the club. He wants her for his own, but will Sword have to fight a rival MC in order to claim her for his own?

I loved Magenta. A true grit pixie fighter. I had a harder time connecting with Sword. Definitely protective and caring toward her, but just not quite my kind of guy. The book itself is really well written though, particularly the intimate bits. And the surprise at the end makes the whole story well worth the read.

When Sword first see's Magenta she is being beaten. He decides there and then that he will save her. This story has a love at first sight vibe for Sword, but Magenta will take some convincing. It is a fast paced read.
