Bear has completely captivated me. I was hooked from just the cover alone. The book was gripping and heartrending at times. I swooned. I cried. I fell in love.
Jenna having reservations when it comes to relationships, took a chance on Bear and decided to follow her heart (and libido). She was attracted to everything Bear. He drove her crazy in the most delicious of ways. He was her Alpha Man.
Bear was enchanted by Jenna. He was willing to do anything and everything to prove to her that they were worth it. She had walls around her heart and he will penetrate through them one kiss at a time.
My heart broke for Jenna and Bear. They went through something so devastating but it did not change the way they feel towards each other. These two characters were perfect. Bear was such a softy and was so endearing. He's dirty talking (which was pretty much 99% of the time) was panty melting hot!!! I couldn't help but blush at times. Hot damn! This book was delicious.
Ruby Carter has created wonderful characters that I can't help but love. I am so looking forward to reading all of her works because she alone is such a sweetheart who puts her every thing into her books!

My first Ruby Carter book and it definitely won't be the last. Bear and Jenna's story is full of ups and downs. You laugh with them and you will want to cry with them. This book almost broke me. I thought I was getting a gritty mc book instead Bear's book was a rollercoaster ride of emotions. This was a well written book and I enjoyed her character development. I'm looking forward to reading the previous books and I can't wait for the next book.

I cannot describe to you the pleasure of reading this story; especially when Jenna makes you a little obsessed with Jam Jars (read it to know why). You will be taken away on an avalanche of emotions with Jenna and our man Bear. A love story with twists, turns and emotions seeping from every line. He isn't the first in the series; but he was the first I read and it was a whirlwind. The Devils Reapers are an enigmatic bunch, who will call to you one way or another and you WILL answer their call. Read the series, and join the Club!

This series just keeps getting better and better
Having read one of the best sex scenes in a long time then next few chapters then had me in absolute sobs of tears.
Having had a similar experience to Bear & Jenna i felt the situation & feelings were written perfectly with sympathy & understanding.
I'm really looking forward to more from this series

Bear, book three of the Devils Reapers, is one of the most heart felt and intoxicating books I’ve read.
Ruby Carter has pulled some major emotions from me with this book and I love her for it!
On the outside life looks great for Jenna Smith, but on the inside it’s anything but and that sweet, kind exterior is one that draws in unexpected attention.
Bear is a big, broody biker (albeit with a soft heart) who has one bakery owner in his sights.
With walls built tall and strongly around her heart, Jenna soon finds herself relenting to the newfound happiness Bear has brought her. Of course life doesn’t always share the same plans. Will they withstand some of the biggest obstacles yet to be thrown their way? After all, life’s not always fair to those who deserve happiness.
This held so much sentiment to me, I could really relate and feel the way the story was meant to be portrayed. Keeping the trigger warning in mind, and the personal connection I have with this story, I can’t help but highly recommend this read.

Love Me Some Bear!!!
Man this story was so good! I was 100% captivated and completely enthralled by Bear. He's big, sexy, growly and loaded with a 'jam jar'!!!
This story was one hell of a rollercoaster ride of emotions from beginning to end. Jenna and Bear are my new favorite couple. I fell in love with both of them right from chapter one. They are both funny and so very lovable. Their interactions were so very explosive and highly combustible. The story had so many laugh out loud moments that just made it even better. My heart broke (and I bawled my eyes out) for Jenna and Bear towards the end but it made them a much stronger couple. I would love to read more of their story.

Another great read. Third book in the series and oh my days what a tear jerker. The storyline was captivating and entertaining but so emotional in parts. This author has a way of writing about the emotions of the characters that leaves a lump in your throat. Loved Bear and Jenna equally. They made such a sweet couple and the chemistry between them was plain to see, but I felt so sorry for them. So that is a good sign of great writing, if the author can get all those nitty gritty things down and makes you feel something. So overall this was a great read for me, and I cannot wait for the next book.

What I Loved: Ruby Carter's writing style is captivating. She wrote from both Bear and Jenna's point of view, and was able to nail it!
How I Felt: This book hits all the feels. It has some emotional parts, but is also light and funny in spots, and of course, it's quite steamy!
To Read or Not To Read: I would suggest this book for any romance readers out there that love the sexy/steamy side of the romance as this has got it!

I was given an ARC of Bear to read by the author and I'm so grateful she did.
Bear is the third book in the Devils Reapers MC series and is by far my favourite. While appearing tough and mean at first glance Bear is at heart a teddy bear when it comes to his Cupcake, Jenna.
While not a dark romance there are certain themes that could be triggers for some people so do be aware.
All in all though I definitely give it 5 stars and would recommend Bear and the rest of the Devils Reapers to anyone who loves to read MC romances

This book will have your emotions all over the place. No spoilers but it does have a trigger. Bear was absolutely taken by Jenna! Jenna was a little leary about Bear. Once they truly got together one of the most amazing love stories I have read. The couple faces some of the toughest times but pulled through. I very much enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for more!!

A hot, gorgeous love story wrapped up in a big Bear-hug! The difficult storyline in this book was so beautifully handled, and brought tears to my eyes on a few occasions. Loved it Ruby, and I can't wait for the next book in the series! xx

Another fabulous read from this author but you better have your tissues ready. This storyline is captivating, entertaining, emotional and suspenseful. Bear and Jenna’s chemistry can be felt wafting off the pages. The difficult topics addressed in the story were handled with grace, I can’t imagine going through something like that. What will this brilliant author have in store for us next?

In this sweet instalment from the Devils Reapers MC we meet Bear Jamieson. A Possessive, Tattooed Biker with the heart of a teddy bear, when it comes to his Cupcake. His cupcake, known to everyone else as Jenna Smith owner of the local bakery.
She wanted him and He wanted more, all of her his. It was a challenge but a one he relished. Sweet and kind with curves he wants to sink his teeth into. They strike a deal. No strings, No commitment and most importantly to Jenna No repeats. Just Sex, Just One time or so she thought. After finally getting a taste of her that night it cements his knowledge that she is his, despite what she believes.
She fights him and her own feelings but when their connection grows and their interactions become warm and tender she relents. Life can't always is that good. It throws them a curve-ball that has them left shaken. They embark on a roller-coaster journey that would have the strongest of people falling to there knees.
Where do I begin? Have you ever had a story rip your heart out one moment but in the next breath puts each piece back together? This is that book. Let me tell you I was drawn to this book instantly and it wasn't just because of the cover although, I won't lie it did help. The Author is able to be able to captivate the reader from the first flip of the cover, through to the last page and beyond making you want more from the Devils Reapers and their girls. The characters are relatable, which in my mind is a must in a good book. They had instant chemistry which worked beautifully as it continued to develop throughout adding more depth and having you become engrossed in their journey.

However, the authors' fluidity allowed the storyline to flow smoothly even whilst dealing with real-life tragedies. Ruby was able to deliver a hard-hitting, complex and compelling storyline whilst giving it the due respect and tender care it deserves. From someone who has experienced something similar in my life, you have accomplished an amazing feat most seasoned authors could not pull off. I'm still reeling from this book... Bear and Jenna's story is one of overcoming your own insecurities about trusting others, surviving absolute heartache and overcoming adversity.
Bear is a little rough around the edges but as far as Jenna is concerned, he's her dream man come true... he's a big tattooed biker with a good heart and a lot of patience... well when it comes to Jenna he does anyway... Jenna is a bakery owner who has had nothing but bad experiences when it comes to men but let's her guard down when it comes to Bear... there's just something about that man that keeps her from shutting him out, like she has done to everyone else.
Jenna tells Bear that she doesn't want a proper relationship and when Bear finds out why, he goes out of his way to prove her wrong... the chemistry between these two is off the charts hot!!
They both have a knack of being able to read each other and giving the other just what they need to thrive in their budding relationship.

I discovered Ruby Carter's work on Instagram and was intrigued as our hero, Bear, has a cute way of talking and has some pretty old-fashioned views when it comes to relationships with women, something that could get my hackles up but no, I liked him immediately. The whole tough-guy, bearded biker dude really never loses his appeal and Bear is a LOT more appealing than a lot of them I've read.

So I bought the book, and loved it right away because the characters are ADORABLE. Maybe too cute but if you're in the mood for that, it really, really works. Jenna owns her own bakery and creates delicious goodies for us to drool over. She's a healthy, curvy girl, not a stick insect, and she's surrounded by friends who actually love her and aren't bitchy behind her back. It's like real life, only better. She sets her sights on Bear for one purpose only, but when he rocks her world, their relationship turns warm and tender. Oh, and HOT, with very sexy scenes that leave Jenna panting for more of Bear and his "jam jar."
Then joy turns to tragedy, and this, I wasn't expecting. It came a bit out of left field but the author handled a tricky subject with sensitivity. Contrasting with the sweetness of the beginning, it was a shock but I loved how the story ended. Bear and his cupcake, Jenna, are characters that will remain with you.
This book is set against the backdrop of the Devils Reapers Motor Cycle Club, with a cast of colourful characters, some of whom have their own stories in other books.

An emotional rollercoaster that's impossible to leave behind!
This is the third book of Ruby's I've read, but the first I was lucky enough to be fully involved in the developmental stages of, and what a book to kick my involvement off with. Jenna and Bear aren't your typical couple, but the connection between them grows magnetic almost instantly, and their paths quickly become forever intertwined as they begin on a passionate, loving, and emotional journey together that neither of them expect.
Over the course of her career, Ruby's talent has only gone from strength to strength, but every word has always held the same deep and meaningful connections with her characters that have pulled her readers in and made them fall in love with her work, and this genuinely raw and emotional story set against a backdrop of a genuine connection between two people that defies the odds should be praised for the excellent story it is. I am excited to see where the series goes next, but certain that the books to follow will be just as strong as the ones to date.

Even though this is book 3, I don't feel I missed anything by not reading the first 2 in the series. The model in the cover fits the image of the Bear character perfectly. This isn't really a story of MC life, but more about Bear's life and the MC is the background. The story a heartwrencher, so tissues will be needed towards the end. This has all the feels expected of a romance with a "mostly" HEA.

Omg I want a Bear !.
Bear - big gruff sweet kind loving biker knows what He wants and that's Jenna.
Jenna - runs the bakery, looks after her younger sister Jade and hasn't time for a relationship. At least that's what she tells Bear, one night is all she wants .
Only Bear is determined to change her mind .
Lots of heartbreak in this one but oh such sweet loving too!.
Plus the usual club drama, humour and more .

Omg this book hit my emotions hard. I myself have been in the same situation as them not once, but twice. I'm so glad they were able to find strength in each other along with their family and friends to begin to heal. I hope one day soon we'll get to see them as a family of 3.

I want me a Bear! That said, sometimes it takes a minute to figure out what is being said, or conveyed maybe? The word errors in these books cause re-reading of sentences and sometimes whole paragraphs. The storyline is great, pulling out feeling, but the proofreading sucks bigtime.

Bear!!!! He was something and I’m just a big fan of the alpha males in this series so I was excited when it was bears turn to tell his story!!! Loved the journey it took me on!

I just loved Bear. He is amazing. They are just perfect for each other, and they can get through anything together.

I loved the way this series handles such delicate issues and completely does them justice. So far I can't pick a favourite because they've all been that good.
