Nice little attempt at trying to do a comic for young readers in the manga/digest size format (which is probably where American comics are headed excluding downloads). Eli is washed ashore at a lighthouse and shows early on an affinity for the ocean and being a prodigy when it comes to devising subsea vessels. While this is meant to be an introduction to our lead character and supporting cast it suffers from trying to fit in too much into too few pages. The author confesses his influences, which includes 1960s cartoons, that had a definite impact on this title.
