Woof Woof Story: I Told You to Turn Me Into a Pampered Pooch, Not Fenrir! (Manga), Vol. 2

"That...wouldn't be anything like the fun pet life I wanted!!"

Now that Mary's fallen ill, Routa's pampered-pooch life is in jeopardy! In order to cure her once and for all, he'll need to do some actual work for a change! The medicinal flower he seeks, however, is guarded by a fearsome dragon, and he's got a lot of ground to cover if he wants to make it to its lair. Will he be able to overcome his trauma for the one he loves most, or is Mary doomed to relive this cycle of sickness every year?

That line a dog steps over when he has to fight.

For those sensitive to such things there is a bath scene with many of the female characters right at the beginning of the book and although there is no exposed genitals or nipples thanks to convenient censoring the character's curves are still noticeable.

Poor Routa. When he was human he was a corporate minion slaving away at his job until he literally died. When given a wish he was so traumatized by being overworked he wanted to be reincarnated into a simple life of a pet who will be spoiled and live out his life on a sort of vacation. What he got was a destiny he didn't want, powers to figure out, and a mistress who loves him unconditionally.

Now mistress Mary is suddenly coughing violently and we discover although she will suffer for a whole month thanks to this reoccurring sickness that she will recover. However even though her condition seems to have gotten worse this year there is a chance instead of merely sufferings one out of the twelve months of the year that she can be cured. The only problem is the solution only grows in places where the most ancient and powerful of dragons dwell who are rare themselves. Now Routa is back on the clock not wanting to see his mistress suffer year after year but thanks to his allies there is a glimmer of hope he can help alleviate Mary's suffering. However even if he finds the plant he needs what is he going to do about the dragon who's lair it is found in?

Continuing the adaptation of the 1st volume of the light novel this over the top story about a man with conflicted interests reborn as the king of the Fen Wolves continues to entertain but is not afraid to invest in real problems such as serious illness, abandonment issues, and questions of self worth. I look forward to whenever Yen Press deems the series worthy of another volume. :)
