There he was, a blast from her past—the one man she never thought she’d see again.
Hailey and Adam were supposed to chase their dreams together, but at the last minute, he balked. Leaving Adam was the hardest thing she’d ever had to do, and Hailey would have sworn she was over him … until she saw him in Nashville, and everything changed.
The old feelings are all still there, but the past is never far behind them. Can they be just friends-with-benefits now? She can’t forget that he wouldn’t come with her and he only remembers how she left. Maybe they can build a new love out of the ashes of an old flame … if they can get over their past.

Great second chance romance about Adam and Hailey. They were in love as teenagers but due to some issues that came up, they broke up. Fast forward to years later and they meet up again and the attraction that they had for each other was still there. It was a nice journey watching them find their way back to each other and start to work through the issues that caused them to break up in the first place. Will they be able to do it and get the HEA that they deserve? I highly recommend this book and I don’t think that you will be disappointed.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love the music and the second chance romance tropes. They’re up there as my two favourite types of books to read, and while it isn’t a rocker’s story, our character is still working hard to break into the top of the music stream.
This is my first read from author Savannah Kade, and the mix of hot and sweet romance has been done to perfection. It has been eight years since Hailey and Adam fought over family issues and broke up. They both grew up poor, although one lived in a trailer with a neglectful parent, while the other had the seemingly perfect family, and they were the love of each other’s lives until manipulation put paid to that. Now, after eight years apart, when they meet again it’s eight seconds before the clothes are off and they’ve crashed together.
The love is still there, and so are the issues that broke them apart in the first place.
I loved this book. I found it to be a surprisingly fast read, but it didn’t seem like it, and I read it over the course of a day, only putting it down every reluctantly when I had to. I was regretful that it came to an end. Both Hailey and Adam were gorgeous characters and I absolutely loved them together. They were everything that I love about second chance romance, and I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves this kind of story.
Hailey has also been signed to the Heart Beat label alongside Wilder, an up and coming band, and I got enough of an insight into them that I just had to go and check for other books from Ms Kade. Bonus! I found a series of four books that are going onto my TBR pile. Meanwhile, 4 Stars for That Night In Nashville.
It ONLY took Hailey and Adam EIGHT years to give their mother-sabotaged relationship another try..can you say overbearing and manipulative??!! She’s all that and more!! Geez. Only 2.5 seconds of seeing each other again, they were ripping off the other’s clothes. Time and distance did not extinguish their love for each other...and Hailey FINALLY spoke her mind to the meddling mama, with Adam FINALLY backing her up!! YES!! I give this book 4.5 stars. Felt like the ending was a little rushed but overall it was a great read. There’s a happy ending for them...

I only read this book because it was a part of the 'Ticket to True Love' series. I thought it would be better than the first book I read. Boy, I was wrong! This story seems implausible. For example the main female and male characters had dated as teenagers, but went their separate ways due to lies and deceit. They had not seen each other in EIGHT years & meet again happenstance at an outdoor concert where the female character, Hailey, is one of the performers. When the male character, Adam, goes to her backstage tent to say hi, as soon as he sees her they start removing clothes and having sex right there. No words between them first, no protection for sex, no concern about partner history and no worry they are getting it on in a tent booth that anyone could walk in during a busy multiple artist & crew outdoor concert. Then, they go at it again at her apartment as soon as she opens the front door-no talking first, just straight to the bedroom. This is after Adam just happens to look her up & find her address to go visit her. Now the author attempts to make it sound real by having Hailey say she's on birth control and no need for condoms. Eww, gross. I appreciate authors that go out of their way writing sex scenes & having the characters use condoms. It addresses real world scenarios and makes the love storyline believable. Another example of proofreading failure is when the author is going over Adam life while broke up with Hailey. She writes he helped his two sisters, Sarah and Rachel, through college. Yet, towards the end of the book when Hailey is explaining to Adam how his mom has lied to keep them apart, he has an additional sister and their names somehow changed. Now his younger sister is Chelsea and he has Rachel and Tiffany to watch/take care of. Of course, they are not named as sisters, but the readers is made to assume it. This book appeared to me as a sophomoric attempt to be legitimate romantic literature. Better luck next time. Now I am drawn to the next book in the series, just to see if it is as laughable as the first two.
Hailey and Adam have history but haven’t seen each other in forever. Their history ended because of lies I guess and I love a good reunion. This reunion was a bit much even for me. I love a story of a strong female character but hate when that woman acts like a horny teen. These two who haven’t seen each other in about ten years just drop trout and go for it. They’re at a music festival with people walking around them, literally. I really just wanted to stop reading and probably should have because it didn’t get any better. It had a nice ending but at that point I didn’t care.
This is every girls dream... well high school girl.
Do you stay with your high school love, can you really find your true love at 17? Or do you follow your dreams?
I love the story and the emotions. There was so much back story but it never got lost in the story that Savannah Kade wanted to tell. Very well written.
I love a good second chance country romance, I mean who doesn’t? But unfortunately I DNF’d this book. I just couldn’t get into it. I’m not in a reading slump or book hangover, but I honestly just couldn’t get past the first few chapters. I might try and read it again soon to see if it’s just a current mood I’m in. Hey who knows? If I do, I will post an updated review.
Maybe I would have liked this book better if I had read the rest of the series. As it stands, I like how when Adam and Hailey FINALLY start to really hash things through, it isn't all instantly resolved. That seemed realistic. But it seems to take awhile to get to that point. Up to that point, it seemed like there was still physical attraction, but I didn't feel the emotional connection despite their shared history. In this day and age, physical distance is not necessarily a barrier to easy communication, and Adam and Hailey act as if it is. And that drink-from-the-fountain true love stuff? I couldn't get into it, mainly because you don't drink straight from fountains. Some reasons: 1. the water isn't meant to be potable and 2. you don't know what contaminants there are-- people bathing in the fountains, birds and bird poop.... I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Hailey and Adam meant the world to each other long ago, but she walked away to follow her dream of becoming a country star, while he chose to stay home with a family that needed him. After eight years they are brought together again, both having had some success in careers, but although they still have feelings for each other, getting over the past isn't smooth sailing. And that's what I love most about Savannah Kade romance--it's always realistic. As if these characters could be people you know, who have to work to achieve love, but find it's worth it! That Night in Nashville is part of the Ticket to True Love series. The books are stand alone, but it's fun to see how each author is pulling in the elements that tie the series together, like the town of True Springs and it's legendary water. I hope we see the side character Mabel again soon!
Hailey and Adam were teenagers and had made plans together. When it was time to leave Adam couldn’t do it. Hailey tried to get him to go but couldn’t so she left alone. As time went on they went on with lives and still thought about each other. Then years later they are shocked to run into each other in Nashville. They talk but the past is still there between them. They find that they still have feelings for each other but can they go forward when the past still hasn’t been put to rest? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I really enjoyed this book! It was a second chance romance. Adam & Hailey met & fell in love as teenagers but due to different circumstances they parted ways and met again years later. They are still attracted to each other, however the way they separated run through their mind. This book was an enjoyable read and I really liked both Hailey & Adam. The author has done a wonderful job of character development. I recommend that you grab the book it is a good one!

I truly enjoyed reading it! It's a engaging & moving second chance romance. Hailey & Adam, fell in love as teenagers. She was ready to start doing want she always dreamed of doing. But Adam, once again wasn't able to make his own decision. Years later, older & more mature, Hailey & Adam, have a chance meeting at a music venue. Both stocked to see the other. Are the feelings still there? Is this their second chance? A Must Read!!
This was a fantastic story! I totally fell in love with Hailey and Adam's story. As teenagers they fell in love, but circumstances kept them apart and they went their separate ways. Years later, they find each other again, and the old feelings are still there. Will they have a chance this time? This story is so well written, with an excellent storyline and the characters are charming and fascinating. If you like second chance romances, you will enjoy this book, I highly recommend it.
Hailey and Adam planned their future together but when it was time to leave Adam's mother claimed she had health issues so he couldn't leave. Hailey chose to go. Eight years later they meet and are so physically drawn to each other they decide to try a friends with benefits relationship. They both have trust issues but finding out some hard truths from their past help them start over. This was a really sweet romance.
I loved the Wilder series and this book brings me back into that world. It was wonderful to watch Hailey and Adam find their way back to each other and to the love they once I had. I love how Savannah Kade's writing envelopes me in the lives of her characters and this book didn't disappoint! Pick up this book if you love books that draw you in and bring you through the characters' journey. I received this book as an advanced reader copy.
I truly enjoyed reading this second chance story. It was a page turner. It kept my interest throughout the story. I thought it was well written a good storylines. I thought the characters Adam and Hailey were really good and enjoyable. I look forward to reading more stories by this author. I read and reviewed an Advanced Copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
It’s an entertaining, well written story that kept me entertained from beginning until the end. I really liked and enjoyed reading about the engaging characters and their interesting lives. It is worth your time.

That Night in Nashville is the ultimate sweet-treat romance you'll want to read in one sitting. It has all the classic tropes of a second-chance love story, with Savannah Kade's own unique and lovely style that makes it feel like coming home in a brand new way. The characters are smart, bold, and individual, and the story is satisfying and exciting. This is a story you don't want to miss.
Thoroughly enjoyed Savannah Kade's book That Night in Nashville. Fell in love with the characters Hailey and Adam. The storytelling of the now and the then with flashbacks was intriguing. Would truly recommend this book to my reader friends. Looking forward to reading other books in the series.
A rating...the last 25% of this story made this book. Some twists and conflict that I didn't see coming...couldn't read it fast enough. Fun book, but I do love second chance at love stories (as well as music industry stories).
This was a great book, I am looking forward to reading the others in this series. This is the second book that I have read from this author and both were great. Love the second chance at love that the two main characters have. How they both grow and changed but never stopped loving each other.
3 1/2* Adam & Hailey were childhood sweethearts until she left to continue her singing career. He thought she didn’t care she thought it was for the best. Years later they meet a a gig but is he ready to face the truth? Is she ready to love again?
Savannah Kade has a knack for creating characters you just want to hang out with. This story about a second chance romance features engaging characters and a satisfying story.
