This is a pretty good book about the power of prayer. One thing that I really took away from it is the necessity to pray with the fullness of faith and not limit your prayers with doubt.
I’ve always loved the Prayer of Jabez - the prayer itself and the little book. I appreciated the way this book went deeper in describing what the prayer means and its applicability to our daily lives.
I really like Bruce Wilkinson, and I can credit him to some of my biggest life changes recently. I loved the prayer of Jabez, and the Dream Giver... this book was really good as well.
Good read, although I don't remember reading the Prayer of Jabez. This book will inspire Christian's to expand their service for God in way keeping with his will and his direction.
Beyond Jabez is Wilkinson's in-depth follow-up to The Prayer of Jabez. As always Wilkinson has an adventurous spirit when it comes to participating with Christ in ministry. The book challenged me to pray bigger and to have courage to ask for more territory, meaning more opportunity to represent Christ and allow God to use me. There are other ways the book challenged my patterns in my relationship with the Lord but I am still processing those.
Excellent follow up to The Prayer of Jabez book and devotional. This books takes a deeper look into the powerful little prayer that can change your life! Highly recommend!!
I read the Jabez Prsuer book 20 years ago and a two-three times since. This book takes the prayer experience even deeper and gave me more to ponder and pray.
I like the writing style of B. Wilkinson and the first book I read of his was titled "The prayer of Jabez," as it pushed me to reflect upon the scriptures and my prayer life. Since then, my prayer life changed after reading The Prayer of Jabez; I began to believe in the impossible. This 208 page book is a continuation of that journey written in 5 parts broken into 14 chapters. I began to pray for the impossible and also focus on Habakkuk 2:2 Write the vision and make it plain and Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish. The impossible became the possible and my life is a living testimony of such. My territory has enlarged beyond what the eye can see, the ear can hear and the mind can comprehend. All the Glory to the Almighty God.
