It does what it is supposed to do and has some really good real world explanations for the concepts and why they are important. They do a good job of explaining not just the mechanics of how you do the entries and calculate the results but of what is the reason for doing them. What is the point of financial statements anyway? To inform.
when I took the class only read about 6 chapters, this time I reread all of it in preparation to teaching people at our business on how to read financial statements. Nothing like starting with the textbook definitions and going from there.

I like the ethical problems they put into the ends of the chapters.
