When Lizzy snuck into the players-only area of the stadium, all she wanted was an autograph from all star football player, AJ Lott. She never expected them to have an instant connection. Or for him to track her down, despite her attempts to stay out of the limelight…
New York Times Bestselling author Tessa Bailey can solve all problems except for her own, so she focuses those efforts on stubborn, fictional blue collar men and loyal, lovable heroines. She lives on Long Island avoiding the sun and social interactions, then wonders why no one has called. Dubbed the “Michelangelo of dirty talk,” by Entertainment Weekly, Tessa writes with spice, spirit, swoon and a guaranteed happily ever after. This was such a fun, sexy piece of fan-fiction from the amazing Tessa Bailey. It was hot, sweet, and sexy insta-love story between two unlikely people.

I read this book on Tessa's website and I loved it. I was so happy to hear that it was going to me made into an audiobook for the Read Me Romance podcast. This was such a great story. I loved it.
God I adore the Read Me Romance podcasts. They are the perfect way to tidy the house without realising that it's taken me forever because I am just pottering around cleaning listening to the ladies and their awesome short stories and then bam books ended house is clean :)
As has so far been my experience with any Tessa Bailey book I read, TFPC is definitely a “ticks-all-the-boxes” good time. A perfectly balanced romance with a loveable hero and a relatable heroine, this novella delivers cute and sweet, sexy and swoony, funny and realistic. Loved it.
okkkkkkkk, i hate to be a party pooper because i really do love tessa bailey's writing, BUT aj literally gave me so much second hand embarrassment. i was staring at my phone in disbelief when he would speak...there is super thin, fine line between possessive behavior and acting like a caveman that aj was clearly on the wrong side of.
yeah. tessa bailey absolutely devoured this one. she's actually so iconic for literally publishing fanfiction about a football player. i am obsessed with this woman.
The Football Pants Chronicles is a standalone Tessa Bailey wrote as fanfiction. I rarely read any sports romance but this is already second one from Tessa Bailey that I enjoy.
"Where do you want me to go, Lizzie? Hell? Hell is where I'm going if I stop kissing you."
Lizzy only snuck into the stadium to get an autograph from AJ Lott for her grandfather. He's far from her type but she can't help but become tongue- tied around him. Lizzie knew that she should turn him down, especially because her past could ruin his future.
"Don't leave me with all this love and nowhere to put it."
Nice male characters can be annoying but AJ isn't one of them. He isn't pushover and he fights for what he wants. And AJ knows from the second he meets Lizzy that he wants her and he's possessive of her. I love that even though AJ's popular and clearly many people adore him-- he's not cocky or a player. I sometimes get sick of reading about male characters who just sleep around. AJ isn't only great guy but he's also clumsy, breaking things a lot.
The romance was so sweet from beginning to the epilogue. AJ always put Lizzie first and this book reminded me why I sometimes love insta love so much. Lizzy and AJ both had this attraction they couldn't explain and just wanted best for each other.
This was my first time listening to Read Me Romance podcast. It’s been on my radar for awhile but just haven’t made the time to add it to my week. I recently read a few books by Tessa Bailey and she NEVER disappoints. The podcast itself was fun...learning some fun “insider” information on romance authors and just knowing authors better than just the words they write. This book is fan fic on football star J.J. Watt hence the name AJ. I kind of get a little joy out of fan fic... that little giggle of authors making these imaginary stories of real people. I love their story of how they first meet. Lizzy sneaks into a locker room to get an autograph and he then can’t let her go with a little insta-love. Short stories are a little tough for me cause I just want mooooooooore. But, overall it was just a cute little romance.
