This is another hidden treasures that we have found to read for Christmas. I love how the illustrations are colorful and bring out a lot of the green and reds. This story is so sweet and is not very long. I love how it's in the eyes of the ornaments and not a human. So things are named differently based on what the ornaments think they are called. Cassie loved this story and loved looking at the little girl ornament throughout the book. This book is really cute and perfect for Christmas.

This story was charming. We see Christmas night through the eyes of an ornament. Old fashioned glass and wood ornaments at that. A Bad Cat gets into the tree and causes a search for a lost arm that is eventually mended by Santa. This story was light hearted and heartwarming. It’s a perfect christmas tale.

the life of a christmas tree ornament threatened by bad cat and vacuum cleaner may scare some small ones. at least it is different than the usual santa/reindeer/little woodland critters formula.
