This title was a disappointment, the low point of an otherwise enjoyable series.

The writing is wooden, the history is sketchy, and the scholarship is dodgy at best. The reader would do better to spend his money on J. Leitch Wright's _Creeks and Seminoles_ or Charles Hudson's _The Southeastern Indians_.
