They wanted a girl quickly so they chose an orphanage where no one would ask questions.
They planned to use her until she was pregnant…
Instead they got twenty-one-year-old American Starla Anderson.
When the Russian Mafia invades the orphanage where she lives, in the middle of the night, throwing the nuns who raised her, into a petrified frenzy, it’s Starla who is chosen as the only one who could possibly survive the Bratva and their demands.
But in spite of her own fear of the three massive, glowering and scary men, Starla has to think and act fast…
With her heart thundering in her chest, her body on fire at their presence alone, she sees an opportunity, something that might help the other girls at the impoverished orphanage at a chance of a better life. She lays out her only condition.
This one surprised me I enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would. This author had such a way with words when it came to describing the dirty stuff and It really was just so hot and heavy. Not a massively complicated story this does what it says on the tin and is really all about the loving filth. It's not really a dark read more a rough and ready power exchange read with three dominant alpha males ready and willing to share our young Starla. So basically the gist here is three bratva brothers Mikhail, Dimitry and Nicolay Bychkov need a woman to give them a baby: yes this if you haven't guessed from the cover here this one is a reverse harem. Wanting someone with limited connections they obtain an American girl Starla Anderson from a local Russian orphanage. This was really well written and surprisingly engrossing its full of lots of dubious consent and plenty of dominance and submission if that's your bag. This one is plenty graphic in terms of its content and I also loved that this really bordered on the edge of rough at times. There was Spanking, humiliation medical play and lots of discipline throughout. This really was quite the bag of tricks and there was something here for everyone. it's not an incredibly complicated story but let's be honest that's not why I picked this up now, is it? A surprising sensual read that I really did enjoy for all the right reasons. If your looking for something to make you squirm in your seat this author definitely has a magic touch with this type of fiction. I voluntary reviewed a copy of A Baby for the Bratva.

4.5 stars. Wow, A Baby for the Bratva is really, and I mean really, hot! Starla is an American living in a Russian convent. For some reason, her mother decided they should move to Russia and days later her mother was killed. She is now 21 and living with nuns and orphans.
In the middle of the night, three large, scary, but sexy bratva men show up looking for a woman. They need an heir. They decide Starla will do just fine to provide them with the baby they need to control the family.
Lots and lots of steamy action commences. Woo hoo this book is hot. Realistic characters and a bit of mystery in the plot plays along nicely. This is the first book I have read by Chloe Kent but will be looking for more.

A Baby for the Bratva is a reverse harem type story that brings the mafia front and center with a girl from a foster home. Starla is that girl. She is a strong-willed, headstrong, and very mindful of who has taken her. Starla has a future that she wants, and she will do just about anything to make the home she is in better for everyone. When Dimitry, Mikhail, and Nikolay Bychkov walk in and demand a girl to make pregnant, she is less than happy when she is chosen.
Starla gives these boys hell, and while she is doing that, the boys give it back. I have to say that I highly enjoyed the back and forth of this story. Even the mystery of it brought wonder to me. A Baby for the Bratva is a good story, and I hope for more like this from Chloe.
I love mafia romance so when I saw this, I got it. Dimitry, Mikhail an Nikolay need someone to have their baby and it needs to happen sooner rather than later. Going to the orphanage , they chose Starla. She's been living there since her mother passed away. One should be scared of three huge men, right? While Starla is scared, she's also feisty and fights back. There are a few twists and turns in this story and Starla isn't sure she is really welcomed into this Bratva family. The whole plot of the story was well crafted and I couldn't put it down. I would also be totally down with having more written from this "family"! Loved it!
Had a lot of problems, the writing is not detailed and scenes are lacking and basic because of it. The wording is very juvenile and the author needs to actually look into the things she's writing. Like the heroine claiming she wasn't ovulating anymore but apparently was just a minute before. That's ridiculous. You wouldn't know within minutes like that, even if she had been tracking her fertility, which she definitely wasn't before they took her.
The repetition is disgraceful! We're made to read and re-read the same things three and four times. The heroine is constantly thinking about and remembering the same things over and over, page after page. Repeating thoughts about her mother, the orphanage and the things the three men do to her. They do it, then she thinks about what they did to her, then she thinks again about it again on the next page. It's annoying and definitely not value for money!
I stuck with it and while the story finally does move on to a bit more of a story, the repetition still happens and it's too a basic story. It's like omegaverse, instead of Alpha's taking an Omega, it's three Russian mafia men taking a woman as theirs. One woman, which is unbelievable, I know we have to suspend reality but it wasn't written well enough to do so. It's missing the depth in the relationship, she wants them and loves them too quickly. Basic and repetitive. Definitely not worth the £3.88 I paid.
All things will be revealed What an amazing story, the characters are so deep that you can see each moment play out in your mind as you read the book. The author has managed to put such detail and emotion into each scene that you have no choice, but to finish the book and see if the conclusion will involve a HEA. I truly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next one by this author.
Starla Anderson’s life is about to change. She tries to be brave but it’s hard when she’s trying to fight for what she believes in. Then we have three men who just seem so over the top. They are supposed to be Bratva but seem more like bullies.
This story is pure fantasy. That’s a good thing since I couldn’t believe that any of this could be based on reality. The issue I had with this story was how the three men treated Starla. Her wishes and wants didn’t seem to matter except for what she could do for them. One of the genres listed was reverse harem and I thought this was not even close to what I think of when I hear harem.
The only one that seems to think something is wrong is Starla herself. That’s about the only thing realistic that I found here. She tries really hard to fight for what she believes in. But it’s hard when there are three against one. I might have found it more believable if I saw more of the Bratva lifestyle instead of three brutish men going after something that’s required of them and forget about respecting other human beings.
There were glimmers of hope every once in a while and for that I give the author kudos but I wanted more of those glimmers. I can’t complain about the author’s writing style because her scenes move seamlessly from one to the next. Maybe if I thought there could be an actual relationship between our characters than I would have found that glimmer that would hook me into the story. Just because a man is pretty doesn’t mean the heart matches the outside. There seemed to be more tears than hearts and flowers. It was near to impossible to see anything happy about this story.
Just because this is my first book by this author doesn’t mean it will be my last. Everyone deserves a second chance and I would like to see what else this author has in her library. I want the chance to slow down and read her work instead of doing something I haven’t done in a while and that’s speed-read. I want the chance to see an ending where I didn’t roll my eyes – I like a story I can connect to.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Starla is living in Russia in a convent of nuns. Her mother was killed in a hotel fire and she is living with her godmother. The men of the Bratva have come for a young, healthy woman to give them an heir. The three brothers will marry Starla and keep her and any children they may have in the future. Starla is brave and stands up to the guys. Twists and turns in the story keep the plot interesting as well as the steamy, hot sex scenes.

Starla has been raised in an orphanage since her mother's death. When three scary looking Russian men stormed the orphanage little did Starla know what was in store for her.
The Bravta wanted a woman with no ties to provide them with a baby. Three big brutes with three different personalities. The quiet one, the mean one and the nice one.
A Baby for the Bravta is a reverse harem story you will enjoy reading.
What starts off as a kidnapping turns into so much more and than some . The characters are domineering and dark and the girl is definitely no shrinking violet. The storyline is strong and flows smoothly with each turn of the page. How and steamy read whew.

This is a fast-paced steamy reverse harem read. Dimitry, Mikhail and Nikolay need an heir so they chose an orphanage to find a girl and no one would ask questions. Starla is chosen and goes to protect the other girls. Starla is strong and not afraid to stand up to these dangers men but what will happen when she begins to fall for them. Entertaining and steamy. A good read.
Absolutely Awesome Read, well written, great characters, Awesome story line, easy read to hold you on their journey, this genre might not be for everyone but its a really wonderful story cannot wait for more from this Author.

Starla, Mikhail, Dimitry and Nikolay stirred up enough hotness to burn the book down. While Starla tried to stand her ground against these three Bratva men, they weren't having it. She was their's to do with as they please which was a mixture of pleasing her and punishing her which really was just pleasure for her as much as it was for them. Steamy, quick read!
Numerous issues with the writing significantly impacted my overall experience. The level of detail provided was insufficient, making it difficult to immerse myself fully in the story. As a result, the scenes felt lacking and overly simplistic, failing to evoke the depth or emotional complexity that I was hoping for.
Additionally, I'm not particularly fond of BDSM elements, and I found their inclusion to be a distraction from the main narrative. Furthermore, I believe the storyline would have benefited from addressing the theme of pregnancy earlier on rather than relegating it to the epilogue. This development could have added more substance and urgency to the plot, enhancing the reader's engagement throughout the story.
Since the novel is titled "A Baby for the Bratva," I was disappointed that the pregnancy doesn't occur in the middle of the story; it only happens at the end of the epilogue. This choice diminished the significance of the title for me. I really wanted to see how the men would react when she became pregnant.
I also dislike the men. They were too rough with Starla, and Starla seemed very boring and bullish to me. The scene when they were talking about her killing her to make a statement to her father that she didn't even know existed. Like it was her fault with what her father's does.🙄
Starla is a woman living in a Russian orphanage. Even though she is of age, she stays because it’s the only family she has. One night she is taken from the orphanage and brought to Bratva brothers Dimitry, Mikhail, and Nikolay. This book is a little more of a dark romance than the others but since it’s a Bratva it’s kind of expected. This was probably my favorite out of the three. It’s so well written and I loved the characters! Nikolay especially was a great character. He’s so tortured and damaged he’s worried about letting Starla in! There is also suspense in this book as they find out things about Starla’s past and how it connected to their Bratva history.
Not a bad book but definitely not a good one. I can respect Chloe Kent for being able to get some semblance of plot into 160 pages, and I can also respect her for portraying the three men (probably) accurately. A lot of mafia books like to make the male love interests soft from the start in an ‘only her’ kinda way, but Chloe veered away from that and instead showed them as cruel and mean and harsh, and yeah, it definitely made it feel they shouldn’t be love interested, and that consent was dubious at times but at least is was fucking accurate.
Needed a lighter read after finishing a serial killer RH so I went with this and it’s not as light as I thought it was but that’s okay because I enjoyed reading it. I liked the little twist about Starla even if it was obvious that it would happen. Wish we could’ve gotten more pov from the guys and how they decided to handle the exchange; it would’ve been nice to read from them how much they love Starla too.
"A Baby for the Bratva" by Chloe Kent is an enthralling dark mafia romance that masterfully weaves together romance, suspense, and power dynamics. I found it more intense than the previous two books in this series. Kent skillfully balances the darker themes with the promise of a guaranteed happily-ever-after.
This was a hot and steamy read. This book had emotion , pain and love. I could not put it down. Tough strong powerful alpha dangerous sexy men what more could a reader ask for? This was a great read.
Liked this one the most in the series. - very steamy - Russian Mafia - has BDSM tendencies (not my thing, but others might like it) - story could have developed better - best for light read - might re-read for spiciness, if only the guys aren't too dominant
These were good stories, however, they were pretty similar to each other. Families and the girls that they chose were different but basically the same. Seems like there were a lot of questions left unanswered but I assume that's the way Chloe meant for it to go.
A well written story, but a little too dark for me. Also, my imagination does not stretch to a woman able to a take two large men vaginally at the same time as anal penetration. Can any one say UTI?
Katya alive was unexpected. Gorky's end was a let down. The 3-day punishment should have been enough but, I don't know. I like that the main character knows Russian and is fluent but can hide it. The story is okay 👍🏾
